Her energy and passion for the art of photography, paired with her ability to connect with others made us say, “she’s the one we want!” She meticulously went over details of our vision and kept communication organized and flowing.  The Silver package we chose was the perfect one for us, with plenty of photos, second shooter and up to 8 hours of coverage, plus an engagement shoot. Through our unique “Harley Davidson” style engagement shoot, we were able to see just how talented she was and it further reinforced our choice with her as our documenter. She truly gets to know your personality to portray who you genuinely are in your photos.  Tess’s availability for FaceTime chats was convenient for time and distance, as we lived in a different state from where we were to be married. We had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and go over details, timeline, really anything at all. We were so impressed by her neatness and attention to detail in how she directed questions. We were provided with a second photographer, day-of to capture both the bridal party and the groom’s men in separate locations which wouldn’t have been possible without. Tess provided us with a timeline/schedule that was so neat, it was like having a photographer and wedding planner all in one! The schedule left room for flexibility, as we know ANYTHING can happen on a big day :) I had requested some golden hour photos of the groom and I, but naturally lost track of time with the hustle and bustle of events. Thankfully, Tess politely excused me and was able to whisk me away to fulfill this important wish, resulting in one of my absolute favorite photographs!  The beautiful chaos of the day ran just a little bit smoother thanks to Tess, I am sure of it. Within the next day or two, she sent us a “sneak peek” of our photos, with about 100, already edited shots!! One of our favorite post-wedding moments was viewing these bonus, early photos, while sipping coffee and reading wedding cards ❤️ We also received a photo album and when I say the quality of this book is gorgeous…it is STUNNING. I highly, highly recommend an album. The print quality is beyond what you’d get doing it yourself (Shutterfly, Walgreens) and the pages are anything but flimsy, on extra thick cardstock. Everyone we’ve showed the album to says they’ve never seen anything like it, so beautiful!  Tess isn’t just a photographer, she’s someone you’d genuinely want to be friends with, grab coffee or a slice of pizza and talk about life with. We are so grateful we found this gem!

Tess is the ultimate hype woman and made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera (not an easy thing to do). Her energy was infectious! From making sure I ate lunch before we went out for pictures, helping capture extra moments throughout the day, and checking in to make sure we had all of the photos we wanted before she left for the night, she truly was exactly what we needed. Not to mention, she had sneak peek photos to us not even 72 hours after our wedding! We are in love with our wedding and engagement photos (she did both) and have gotten so many complements on them! We were so lucky to have her as part of our vendor team!

thoughtful. From start to finish Tess felt more like a friend than a vendor. She was kind and supportive, especially when things did not go as planned and I was stressed. She made sure we had the moments that mattered most to us captured, even when the schedule was difficult. That thoughtfulness gave us some of the photos we value most. She also had the right balance of warmth and direction when working with our large and energetic family. She was clear and confident, which kept everything moving. Our families and bridal party loved her, and my relatives were still raving about her the next day while we were cleaning up. Our photos are stunning and captured the joy and emotion of the day better than I imagined. If I could get married again tomorrow I would book Tess again without hesitation. I have already been recommending her to all of my engaged friends because she made our wedding day unforgettable.

She directed photos so well, especially when there are a ton of family members waiting to get photos. Also, her style is so candid oriented- I'm so grateful I have photos of all the small moments I wasn't even expecting to be able to look back on. I can't think of a vendor that was more worth booking than Tess. We 100% recommend!
