ould have thought, in the back of a furniture store! We have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful our reception was. This place is 100% worth the drive to the quiet little town of Fairbury. Jeanne and Rick were able to help us with the little details and made it easy and accommodated our wants and needs. It was so nice that they were there the night of our reception in case anything went wrong and to make sure everything was going well. We also catered through their recommended caterer, Bernardi's, and the food and hospitality from them was amazing! Thank you so much for helping make this the best night of our lives!

They were really good about talking with us and making sure we got what we wanted and had it done in time. They helped out with the lighting for our wedding and never made us feel like a bother when we asked questions.

t of the venue make it such a beautiful place no matter what you do for decorations. We went all out on our decorations and they worked with us to make sure we could use all our decorations (while also not doing damage to their facility). It is just a beautiful venue overall with the gorgeous staircase and fireplace but also the atmosphere is perfect for any event you are hosting. Highly recommend the Walton Centre!

ded our suits for our groomsmen and they fit as good as you would expect without any alterations. Rick even drove 30 minutes to deliver a tie that he left at the Walton Centre to my dad for the ceremony the next day; he was very kind and considerate. Beautiful space that allowed my 160 guests room to dance and socialize. They sat 8 to a table and had plenty of room to move about the space. Highly recommend using them!!!!!

Could not have asked for a better venue and better owners! Ended up needing an extra table and chairs and evn though i told them dont worry about chair covers and sashes they still took the time to put them on! The venue is absolutely beautiful...

everybody loved the place! Very easy to get to. 1 turn off of route 24. They ordered the color sashes i wanted and in the color i wanted. So acomodating and nice! I would recomend to anybody!

The space is massive and has the perfect layout! The dance floor is huge which is my personal favorite part, and the bar area is great for people who want to socialize. The photo booth was also a huge hit amongst our guests! All of the remodeling they have done is top of the line and the prices are very reasonable too...way cheaper than anything you're going to find in a larger town or city. All of our guests kept coming up to me and asking me how in the world we found this place because it is an absolute GEM! Anyone who is looking for the perfect reception venue and the nicest hometown people to work with, the Walton Centre is a must! Thanks to them, I had the most perfect night of my life! :)

under tables. The venue fits so many people, band, decorations, etc comfortably and they let you set up any way you would like. Rick and his wife Jean were very helpful, attentive and easy to work with. I was very pleased with how quickly they got back to me with all of my questions. make sure all the decoration was all set up for us the day of the wedding, such as plugging in lights, lighting candles, and setting other last minute things up so no of our friends or family had to miss out on anything to come and do it. The Walton Center was also incredibly clean when we got in there to decorate the day before the wedding. I would highly recommend the Walton Center for any event that you are wanting to hold!

s I hit the top of the stairs, and that vision came true on March 19, 2016. Rick & Jeanne were absolutely wonderful to work with!! I can not say enough positive things about them! I will say, it was very important to me to have good communication-they exceeded this completely!! We used benchwarmers across the street for our caterer and we are still receiving compliments on the food almost 1 month later! We set aside rooms at the Pontiac hotels for our guests and set up a shuttle service as Fairbury does not have any lodging accommodations. I would recommend this venue to anyone!! Even if you have the same doubts we originally did, go check it out and fall in love like we did!! Thank you so much Rick & Jeanne!

So if you book through them I highly recommend you to ask them about other people around the area who can help make your day perfect. This beautiful two story building is in the heart of downtown Fairbury and has such charming character that it invites you in and dares you to not have a great time!!! Rick made himself easily accessible to any and all of my questions and very informative about details such as lighting, linens, table sizes, floor plans as well as meeting us at the venue several times beforehand for all of our ideas, concerns, measurements, ect. The wedding ceremony was held on the beautiful wood banner staircase that leads up to the second floor (elevator accessible) where you will find the spacious reception floor and gorgeous wood Bar. The reception area has endless possibilities for your decorating ideas and Rick invites you to create your own enchanting vision. My friends and family overwhelmed me with compliments on what an enjoyable evening they had and the ambience of the venue played a big part. I want to express my gratitude to Rick in assisting us in making this experience "The Most Perfect Wedding & Reception Ever!!! ". nd is historically known as the furniture store that I remember visiting with my own mother when I was a kid. What a shock it was to walk into this building, and walk up to a grand staircase that led to a beautiful ballroom, with draped ceilings and beautiful wood pillars and accents everywhere. The back side of the floor also offers a beautiful bar/pub area for those who wanted a more relaxed area to socialize. This venue has more character than I can even explain. Rick was more than accommodating to us. He let us visit on a number of occasions, and even once when they were setting up another wedding so we could see the possibilities. Rick made sure our day was perfect, and worked very well with all our vendors - from caterer to florist to DJ and photographer. Everything turned out better than I could have ever hoped for. If you are looking for a place who caters to your every need, easy to work with, answers all your questions (and there were many!) beautiful and clean, plus works with your tight budget, you must go visit The Walton Centre.
