ut she was willing to spend her Christmas eve with us AND go along with the ruse that she was just there to do family photos as a gift to our guests. She was professional while still "blending in" to capture special moments secretly without letting on that a wedding was about to happen. It was such an intimate setting that I cannot imagine having any other photographer in her place.

very last minute wedding planned and Lakana was willing to capture my day for me despite the struggles she was facing in her personal life. I had explained to her what I was going through and last minute, she was able to be there for me as her own choice. She understands me very well and brings my vision to life in her photos. I had my first child at the age of twenty. Watching little souls mirror me lit a fire under me and taught me to pay attention to every detail and candid moments closely. I've worked with families for several years and eventually found my way into documenting and capturing more couples and their love stories as well. Working as a wedding photographer, I take a similar approach in documenting and watching how beautiful and unique your love story unfolds on your wedding day.
