I started the business 7 years ago after leaving a 12 year career in business management. While I had the career in business, the food side was self taught. My personal favorite way to enjoy friend and family is around a crowded table, bumping elbows and enjoying delicious food. There is always room for one more. If you are looking for catering, you need to book Wandering Table ASAP. April and her team are truly amazing! April was the best to work with. She helped us finalize details, come up with ideas to help match our vision and was willing to execute on our crazy ideas such as an ice cream bar. She was also very responsive to email when I had questions for her. Her food is SUPER delicious. The mashed potatoes she makes are some of the best things I’ve ever eaten and will forever be a highlight from our wedding. All the guests were saying how delicious the food was. You will not be disappointed with the food or the service you receive from April and her team.

My husband and I could not be more thrilled that April was willing to cater our wedding. We had an off-grid wedding up in the mountains and yet we had SO many guests tell us after our wedding that it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We were hopeful after our tasting since we were literally obsessed with everything on the menu, it was so hard to narrow down. But then to duplicate it in such a remote, off-the-beaten-path location? Amazing. April was so communicative and really walked me through the process as I planned everything myself. She easily had dietary swaps to keep the pretty much the whole wedding dairy-free and like I said, we had many many people tell us it was the best food ever. It’s all you could hope for when planning a wedding! There’s been so many times you go to one, have been hungry all day and then it gets to the meal and it’s just…blah. Not with Wandering Table, that’s for sure! So thankful that we were able to work with April and her awesome team. One of our best decisions we made in planning our wedding!

We hired Wandering Table on a recommendation from our wedding planner, and they knocked it out of the park for our wedding catering! Everyone was gushing about how delicious the food was at our wedding! On top of that, April was super friendly and easy to work with, even when we were struggling to make decisions or when we didn’t respond to their emails very quickly. They went out of their way to help us nail down our menu, which we super appreciated. They were also very accommodating about dietary restrictions and made a few special plates for the guests who needed menu modifications. We know a lot of work went on behind the scenes. Set up/tear down went smoothly, the catering team and bartenders who staffed our wedding were very friendly, and they even helped prepare the late night snacks that we brought separately. Overall, we were very happy with Wandering Table and would highly recommend them if you are looking for event catering!

April Craig with Wandering Table and her team are AMAZING and the food is/was delicious, we got a great sampling of all of our favorite things and guests were super happy with the food… earl grey cupcakes, couscous eggplantC steak, salmon, tomato galettes… just WOW. Thank you SO much for the amazing wedding food!
We are discussing having a yearly party and if April will have us again we would definitely ask her to cater…… never had better food.

Wandering Table was amazing to work with for our daughter's wedding. April's menus were delicious and she was prompt about answering our questions and had so many helpful suggestions. Several of our wedding guests said the food was some of the best they'd ever had at a wedding. We agree! We highly recommend Wandering Table!

My husband and I recently got married, and we used Wandering Table Catering to provide the food and bar service at our reception. We are so glad we chose them. April and her team were fantastic!
From our very first meeting with April (in which she did a virtual presentation of the mains we were interested in) and throughout the entire planning process she was very thorough and detailed. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner and gave us a lot of guidance.
We wanted the food and drinks to tell the story of our relationship and include local ingredients from the PNW, and April delivered! Everything was fantastic both in taste and presentation.
Leading up to the wedding day April was very helpful in arranging pick ups/drop offs with vendors, guiding us on wine and liquor selections, and making bar signage for our specialty cocktails.
She and her team on the day of the reception were very nice and friendly to our guests which made the experience even more inviting and intimate.

April was amazing to work with as a caterer for both our rehearsal lunch and wedding events! She was so kind, professional and communicative throughout the planning process. She was also super flexible with a lot of our last minute changes, and we were so grateful to have had her and her team as our wedding caterer. Also, her food - AMAZING! Her menu items are delicious and are of a high quality standard. We were so impressed by everything she made for us at both of our events. Absolutely amazing food!! We loved working with April and her team for our wedding. Not only was she organized, worked with our budget, and had amazing suggestions, but April was kind and fun to work with every step of the way! I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a gorgeous presentation and delicious food!

April was amazing to work with! She was super communicative throughout the entire process. The one thing I really wanted for my wedding was a cake of cheese and April delivered! It was a hit at the wedding and exactly what I'd imagined.

We love April and the Wandering Table team! We are a group of Pacific Northwest wedding planners. We hosted a wedding on Lopez Island with Wandering Table and all three of us walked away raving about this group. Not only was their meal quality excellent, but they communicated clearly and proactively with our couple throughout the planning process, took the time to fully brief on the event execution plan with us, struck a perfect balance of candid humor and can-do attitude in the kitchen, and produced a meal experience that made the couple's night. We are adding Wandering Table to our preferred vendor list and will be enthusiastically recommending this team moving forward!

April was AMAZING. Beyond what I would expect any caterer to be. I met her about 4 months out from our wedding date with covid still very much an impact. She was so helpful, accommodating and just overall an amazing human. Her food was also wayyyy better than "wedding food". Several guests said they would absolutely go to a restaurant and order her meals; being someone who loves food I greatly appreciated this. Thank you April and team for such an incredible day!

April and her team were a dream. We came to her in a pinch after a few caterers had cancelled on us before our big day. We were one week before our wedding, reached out to April and she was responsive, put a tasting together and assembled our wedding dinner with a sense of urgency! We couldn’t have had our perfect day without them, she was amazing!
