Discover Wanderlust Wine Co. at Shady Lane, a one-of-a-kind wedding venue tucked into the creative heart of East Austin. Our urban winery offers 13,000 square feet of vibrant indoor space, thoughtfully designed for weddings that transition effortlessly from ceremony to reception.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the laid-back energy that makes this space so special. With seating for up to 150 guests using our in-house wine barrel tables and barstools, and ample room for mingling thanks to included cocktail tables and lounge vignettes, our venue offers a warm, social layout that encourages connection. Planning a ceremony on-site? The Tasting Room and Wine Hall hold up to 200 guests in a theater-style arrangement with chairs rented from one of our trusted rental vendors.
Included in every rental are six-foot tables for food service, satellite bars, or photo booths, a full-venue surround sound system, and customizable lighting to help set the perfect mood.
Celebrate under our iconic disco ball above the dance floor, or set the scene with a band or DJ on our built-in stage, complete with a custom LED DJ booth. Whether your dream day looks like a cozy evening of candlelight and conversation or a high-energy dance party, our venue is here to help bring your vision to life.
We offer a straightforward pricing structure with an approachable rental fee and a bar minimum that adjusts based on your guest count and timeline. Choose from our curated list of 70-plus wines sourced from around the world, along with craft beer and our award-winning wine margaritas and cocktails. Interested in a full bar? We’ll gladly refer you to one of our trusted partners for a licensed liquor setup with professional bartenders.
We welcome outside catering and also offer a selection of preferred food partners for added ease. However you envision your celebration, we’re here to keep the planning process flexible and fun.

ediately. Our vision started to come to life the moment we met Margaret. Her background as a wedding planner came in handy as she recommended lots of vendors for us. I was lost in all the planning and she really made me feel at ease. She and her team helped our event go so smoothly. Working with our vendors and day of coordinator to make sure every detail was just how we wanted it. Multiple planning calls and confirmations she was so easy to get in touch with and make time for me. I’m ready to throw another party here!!

ur guests to get to, which made everything that much smoother. Seriously, guests could not stop raving about how cool the space was. It was always amazing that the venue is inside so we didn't have to have a plan B incase Austin weather didn't cooperate.
What truly set Wanderlust apart, though, was the incredible support we got from their master of events, Margaret. She was amazing to work with—responsive, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. She gave us fantastic recommendations for vendors that aligned with our style and made the whole planning process feel so much less overwhelming.
Our wedding day was absolutely magical, and so much of that is thanks to the beautiful space and Margaret’s guidance behind the scenes. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate, and we’re forever grateful to Wanderlust Wine for making our day so memorable.

The disco balls are a must see and will add to any theme! They provide EVERYTHING.... tables, chairs, stage, audio, bar and bartenders! The wall of wine taps is so unique!

nded a wedding there and the floor-to-ceiling murals created a stunning backdrop for the ceremony and reception, not to mention the funky disco ball installation was the perfect touch above the dance floor. It’s a very large space with room for the ceremony on one side, and reception on the other (a wall divides the two spaces so it really feels like separate areas). This venue is ideal if you have a high guest count, and lends itself to flexible floor plans and seating arrangements. The space is equipped with tables, chairs, soft seating, a stage, A/V, bar, glassware and bartenders—all included with the venue.
Their vast selection of wines on tap was a cool guest experience—no waiting in bar lines!! However, liquor bars were present at this wedding—they also had food stations with a mix of cocktail tables and three large tables for a seated dinner. They’re flexible and can cater to your event’s needs.
This venue is one-of-a-kind—highly recommend anyone looking for a unique, eccentric space for a wedding to book Wanderlust!

We loved having the option to order liquor based drinks from their friendly bar team or have full access to their wine wall that let you choose from a plethora of high quality wines that you got to pour yourself! This made for both an interactive experience for guests and cut back significantly on bar wait times for people who just wanted to snag a glass. From the stunning ceremony to dancing the night away under a sea of disco balls this venue gave us an evening we will never forget!

e! The vibrant atmosphere with sparkly disco balls on the dance floor and wine on tap from all over the world had all of the guest buzzing about the incredible celebration. It was a night to remember and reflective of the vibrant, fun-loving couple. Another plus is it's close to downtown, so out of town guests have plenty of lodging options. I highly recommend Wanderlust Wine Co. for any celebration!
