We used the Warner Center Marriott for our wedding room block - the actual wedding was at a restaurant in Topanga Canyon. Although the hotel itself was convenient and offered a beautiful lobby for our guests to hang out in, there were some downsides. The communication between management and staff was lacking. We spent months coordinating with multiple managers on a large room block, space for a late-night party, brunch tickets, and distribution of welcome bags to our guests. We had to work with someone different for each aspect of our hotel planning process. Then when it came to the weekend of the wedding, it felt like management had not communicated our needs to the staff actually facilitating our plans. There was confusion over our welcome bags, who actually received bags, and printing tickets for brunch. Overall, our wedding weekend at the Marriott was good but it definitely was not seamless.

We got married this past November and booked our welcome dinner and wedding block at the Marriott. Jose was in charge of our wedding block and was wonderfully accommodating and caring to all of our guests. He made sure the bridal suite was a beautiful room. The rehearsal dinner was great as well, food was absolutely delicious (I had the vegetarian wellington), and the staff was really friendly. We had ordered an A/V package which was ready upon arrival and included support which came in handy. Great way to start off our wedding weekend.

We used the Warner Center Marriott for our hotel room block. We got a great nightly rate for our guests and our room was upgraded to a 1-bedroom suite. The event manager was very helpful and called me periodically to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. Nice hotel in a great location. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Great pool. They brought a bottle of prosecco and chocolate covered strawberries to our room on the wedding night. Cons: The buffet breakfast is nice but the staff were disorganized. We weren't presented with a check and then presented with the wrong one. They were helpful in correcting the mistake. We used the shuttle for transportation to the wedding venue. We were running late and when we got to the lobby we had to wait for the new driver's shift to start. I was already stressed to get to my wedding. I wish the transportation captain had checked in with my that day either by phone or visiting my room.

Our venue was incredible. The service that was given us by the Events Coordinator and the rest of the staff was beyond what we could have hoped for. They made the room beautiful, the food was great, the room they gave us was awesome, and they helped make it a night that we will never forget. We had a pretty big wedding and they made sure everything was just right. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

This is the best hotel in the San Fernando valley. The Marriott hotel in Woodland Hills lives up to its MARRIOTT name is standard and service. My guests all enjoyed there rooms. Most of my family had there breakfast buffet in the morning and loved it. Even though the week of my wedding there was a huge convention going on the staff was great, even to my kid cousins.
