up artist, Alma, was so attentive to my needs and helped me with touch-ups after the ceremony - because there were a lot of happy tears! Our hairstylists, Keely and Kathleen, also went above and beyond. Keely took on an unexpected task of helping me into my headpiece for the ceremony. Kathleen also helped with an unexpected task of fixing up the groom's hair after the ceremony, which got a bit undone when he changed from ceremony attire to reception attire. Overall, not only did these ladies do an incredible job, but they made us all feel taken care of and special on such an important day.

Working with her for our engagement photos and my wedding HMU trial, she took the time to ask detailed questions and fully understand what I wanted/the look I was going for. She was great at communicating and providing a safe space for me to give feedback on what I liked/didn’t like, took detailed notes and photos, and made sure I loved the final result. On the day of my wedding, she was such a calming presence and helped me through the roller coaster of emotions you have as you’re getting ready for your wedding. She made me feel comfortable, listened to feedback, and made sure I was completely happy with my final look. We just got our photos back and I am obsessed with how my hair and makeup turned out and how it lasted all day! I can’t recommend Amanda enough for her skills but also her as a person! The rest of the team did an amazing job the day of, my bridesmaids and mothers all looked beautiful, they were on time, and professional, and made the morning run smoothly! The team at WPI is top-notch in the business! We had 4 artisans on-site for 20 various HM services for bridesmaids and flower girls. Everyone looked beautiful, the day was seamless...
and punctual, leaving buffer time for touchups before everyone needed to be ready for pictures.
Alexa did my Bridal HMU and trial and achieved exactly the look I wanted. At the trial, I showed her a few inspiration photos and she asked plenty of questions to curate my look. We noted a few tweaks from the trial to make on the Wedding Day and Alexa DELIVERED! Kathleen and Tia did hair which looked great on my gals. Paulina's make-up services were astounding. My gals typically do not wear full-face/glam and Paulina did a great job of accentuating everyone's natural beauty and features. I worked with Mia for the initial consult and booking. Communication was great, she answered all my questions, and accommodated my updates as needed. I highly recommend WPI for your wedding day!

I don’t wear a lot of makeup so first I made an appointment for a consultation at the beauty counter of a major department store, and spent a lot of money on a lot of products. I practiced the application, but the makeup didn’t wear well, and I was pretty stressed about how I’d look on my wedding day and how I’d photograph.
My assigned WPI makeup and hair artist was Nicole. She reviewed my WPI style quiz and photos, and knew what I was looking for and delivered! I really appreciated the value of the trial; my makeup looked great after the trial, but it didn't have the staying power due to my oily skin. I gave that feedback to Nicole and she made some adjustments on the wedding day - my makeup looked great for hours!
Feedback on WPI:
I LOVED Nicole! Wow - her talent aside, she is a lovely, warm, kind and beautiful human being. She was so easy to talk to, she "got me", and she's incredibly talented as an artist. The day of the wedding I knew I was in great hands and this allowed me to relax and enjoy the moments.
In addition to the end result, my coordinator Mariah Jere was professional and communications were timely. Her communication was clear and I knew what and when each next step was, what was expected of me, what I could expect from the WPI team.
If you are even thinking about WPI for your wedding, I encourage you to at least have the initial chat. Their talent, skills and services are worth every penny.

ns. I do not feel both the hair and makeup artists were up to the latest techniques in their craft. For example, the hair stylist only utilized hair spray and brought no further products. One of my bridesmaids looked like she took a shower with the amount of hair spray the hair stylist used and she had to tell the stylist to stop spraying her hair and redid it. Additionally, multiple bridesmaids had to redo their makeup or touch it up. Further, after getting my photos back my eyeshadow looked like it was from the 80s and my skin looked uneven. Overall, I was recommended by my venue, and it's nice when you need multiple artists to handle your bridal party. However, in hindsight I wish I would've found artists that were more up to date with the techniques, even if that meant finding individuals rather than using one company. I personally would not recommend WPI.

It weighs heavy on us to hear that you and your party did not receive the service you (and we) expect. One of our company's values is staying up on current beauty trends in order to deliver outstanding hair/makeup results. We provide continuing education for our team in order to keep their skills sharp and on the cutting edge. It's shocking to hear that you and your party felt their skills were outdated. I am taking your comments seriously and will be investigating further in order to ensure we are upholding our values. That said, it is worth mentioning here that based on some feedback from my artisans it sounds like some of the party did not follow the prep instructions we provided which definitely would have been a contributing factor to the outcome of the hairstyles. The team would have also been more than happy to make any adjustments to the hairstyles or makeup in order to get it just right, provided feedback was shared with them. Lastly, during our hiring process we have our artisans go through a technical interview. As a part of this step we review their kits to make sure they have all of the products/tools needed to perform any style/makeup requested. Sometimes at jobs artisans don't take out every product they have in their kit, and only will set out what they feel they need. It's likely that this was the case here. At any rate, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience and we will be investigating further. reat at her craft! She listened carefully to me during the trial and made sure to check in throughout the process to ensure she was doing my makeup the way I wanted. On the actual wedding day, she killed it not only for me, but for my bridesmaids and my mom. My mom specifically loved Mia's kindness and talent. She couldn't believe how good she looked while still looking like herself!
Tia did an a gorgeous job on my hair. During the trial we had to make a few adjustments along the way, and she was so patient and kind throughout even though we had to start over on some sections. I also had some sentimental hairpins made of paper flowers that I wanted included in the look, and Tia was so gentle with them and put them in my hair flawlessly. She also did all of my bridesmaids' hair and they all looked stunning. Tia went above and beyond after our hair was finished and helped me put on my shoes during and necklace when we couldn't get the clasp to open.
Finally, Mariah was an excellent coordinator throughout the whole process. She answered all of my questions and kept me up to date on the details with my artisans, trial, and day-of timeline.
Thank you Mia, Tia and Mariah for making me feel so gorgeous on my wedding day! I would 100% recommend using WarPaint for your wedding beauty needs!

er again. I was ready to give up completely when I had my consultation over the phone with Mariah at WarPaint. She listened to everything I had gone through and reassured me that she had an amazing artist that would help me feel beautiful again! Then she sent me links to Keely’s work, this is when my mind was instantly blown!
We were getting married at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival Fair and to my surprise Keely was the artist who did the hair and makeup for the festivals wedding website!!! I was so excited I booked Keely that night! When I finally met Keely she was such an amazing individual! Not only did I love every minute spent with her, she restored all the joy and excitement I had lost!

y me not speaking up enough and not on the artisans. They delivered on the day of for both me and my wedding party - the hair looked great, the make up was flawless, it was a great experience! I will say, WarPaint is on the more expensive side of services from what I’ve seen/compared to, and I’m not a big make up gal to begin with so that was my only disappointment - which is not reflective of WarPaint since they’re very upfront with all their pricing from the very beginning. It was fantastic that they traveled to us on the day of. I worked with Mia leading up who provided clear communication and expectations and was also great!

That said, I would absolutely hire this company again. And huge thank you to my artisan, Alexa!! She was so professional and personable. We worked together to get a more natural makeup look that I felt comfortable in and she even hand picked out the lipstick I wore on my wedding specifically for me! She was such a friend through the whole process. As an anxious bride I could not have asked for a more patient and detail oriented artist. She truly is very talented in hair and makeup and highly recommend her.

a group of 10 people without having to start too early. They were punctual and extremely friendly. They also did a great job at executing everyone’s preferred looks. I shared feedback with my specific artisans and they were super receptive and gave me the exact look I was looking for. Caitlin did my makeup and absolutely killed it! She made me feel beautiful without having to heavily apply makeup. It was lightweight and accentuated the features I wanted. Shannon was my hair stylist and was quick and effective. You could tell she’s been doing hair for a while because every look she did was beautiful! She also helped me accessorize my bun with flowers and pins which really pulled the whole look together.

r and makeup at your home. It made the logistics of getting ready much easier too. I was able to tell them the hotel we were getting ready at in the suburbs and they were able to travel there.
I had Jennifer do my hair and makeup on my wedding and she was wonderful! She also did all the bridesmaids makeup which turned out great. Not too cakey or that clown makeup that you see a lot for weddings, and our makeup stayed on on all night. The other stylist who did the bridesmaid's hair also did a great job! All the curls held up through the night.
I initially had my hair done one way at the trial, which was a half up half down, then changed my mind and wanted a braided look on the wedding day, then changed my hair again back to a braided half up/half down. Jennifer was very accommodating with me and it ended up looking beautiful! My makeup also turned out great, it wasn't too heavy and it stayed on all night.
Both ladies were very professional and friendly, and I'm very happy I booked WarPaint! Highly recommend using this company!
