Wasatch Lake is a rustic wedding and event venue in Poland, Indiana, conveniently located just an hour southwest of Indianapolis in Owen County. This 300 acre private retreat offers a tranquil lakeside setting for you and your wedding guests to enjoy. With breathtaking lake views and cozy cabins, this private woodland provides a memorable scenic backdrop for your special day. Facilities and Capacity Wasatch Lake is a rustic, country wedding venue that accommodates up to 120 guests. The 300 acre private woodland features an event lodge for your ceremony, reception, or special event, as well as a serene 50 acre lake and seven lakefront rental cabins. The Long House Lodge at Wasatch Lake is a 9,000 square foot banquet hall with a fully equipped kitchen and dance floor. Guests can enjoy use of the facility’s green meadows for outdoor activities, and the lake offers a large T-shaped dock for intimate wedding ceremonies. For out of town guests, the facility offers seven fully furnished cabins for a convenient and cozy night’s stay on the grounds. Services Offered Wasatch Lake is an ideal location for wedding ceremonies and receptions, as well as bridal showers and engagement parties. We offer accommodations on the facility’s grounds, and a full-property buyout option- which includes all seven cabins, the 9,000 square foot lodge overlooking the 50 acre lake, the lodge loft (which sleeps 16), in addition to full use of the grounds and outdoor meadows. WiFi is available in the lodge. Other Services This private retreat is the ideal location for weddings, parties, family reunions, corporate retreats, or a simple getaway. The Long House Lodge offers a fully equipped kitchen for outside catering, as well as a large fireplace, dance floor and game room. Games include a billiards table, fooseball, ping pong table and an outdoor horseshoe pit. Guests may enjoy various activities like fishing and boating, hiking, biking, tennis, pickle ball, golfing, and swimming.
