I originally reached out to Washington Diamond because my engagement ring (which had belonged to my husband's grandmother) had some loose prongs and needed repair. Tom was professi...
onal and knowledgable, showing me details about the ring with a loupe that I hadn't seen before and making sure I understood the scope of the repair. When it came time to buy wedding bands, we returned to Washington Diamond and had an excellent experience.
We loved working with the Washington Jeweler team--they made band shopping such a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Before our engagement, I went to Washington Diamond to try rings on and see what I liked. There were a lot of different options and I was able to take aspects from a few different ...
rings to create a truly custom ring. My then boyfriend, went to meet with them after I had given all the details I liked in the rings and he worked with them to pick out the diamond and the final touches. The ring came out amazing! I get complements on it all the time. Before the wedding, we went back to try on wedding bands. It was a really special day and my husband got to try on all different rings since he had never worn jewelry, he wasn't sure what he'd want so it was really helpful trying everything on. The process for getting the ring cleaned is really easy and the staff is always kind and knowledgeable.

I bought my wedding band from Washington Diamond recently and the experience was lovely and super easy from start to finish. Had a nice and efficient appointment and after thinking...
about all my options, went ahead and ordered my band on the phone and within two weeks, it was ready to be picked up. Would definitely recommend Washington Diamond to anyone looking for high quality and great service!
Washington Diamond is wonderful to work with.
I had the absolute BEST experience at Washington Diamond. First of all, they are honest, which is highly underrated if you ask me. They even informed us of an upcoming sale (every ...
year in January) before we made our purchase and recommended we wait! Second, extremely convenient and communicative. They do everything in house! No sending it out for adjustments/tightening. They are super fast with all communication as well. Third, their customer service is top notch. Can always fit us in for quick appointments and very helpful when we are there.
Huge fan. Highly recommend.

ent pendant and most recently a pair of diamond hoop earrings for Christmas - we trust the Washington Diamond team with our important celebration and everyday jewelry purchases. You won’t regret making an appointment!
My husband and I were recently married and we used Washington Diamond for my engagement ring and both of our wedding bands. They have been wonderful to work with! When we went to ...
look at engagement rings we shopped around a bit, and we absolutely feel that we got the best value and more importantly the best service at Washington Diamond. Tom was so helpful and easy to work with and really is an expert in the business. He never pressured us to make a purchase and continued to help us even after buying the engagement ring when we had to get the setting for the diamond changed. When it was time to purchase our wedding bands, it wasn't even a discussion...we knew we would go to Washington Diamond and we were happy that we did! We love our rings and the service we receive every time we go there is outstanding. Prior to the wedding they cleaned our rings and were even kind enough to clean my grandma's engagement ring that I planned to wear for the special day---at no cost! This is a wonderful, family owned business that will really take care of you and ensure that you are given good value and happy with your purchase. Thanks Washington Diamond!
Customer service and quality is the name of the game. We were able to develop a relationship with Tom who worked with us directly on our ring. He is relatable and has a genuine way...
of interacting with you. You get to know him as a person as he gets to know you and you feel comfortable communicating all of you concerns and desires. You have his full attention for the entire hour you are there at each appointment and he really cares about finding what you want and getting it done, and getting it done the best way possible. Yet he also has a casual candor that facilitates knowing each other on a real, human level and helps you get the best product even if something you want might not work. After shopping around at a number of jewelers, we felt completely confident that his place stood out. We had him create a custom ring I drew. He was really careful to talk through all the details and feasibility of each flourish (making sure it captures what you want but also ensures the structural integrity for a long-lasting product). He wanted to make sure the final product was up to his high standards. He even adjusted his standard workflow to what he thought would get the final result right, even incurring additional costs doing so. That was really impressive to me. He was able to work through the challenges of bringing our design to a final product in a way that created a positive relationship of respect between us. We were really happy with the ring we bought. I admire it daily and we’ll continue to go back to him. We felt motivated to do our best by him as he did his best by us. He was always gracious and professional.

cess through two secure doors to enter the establishment, we knew at that moment this was personalized service. We were met by Walter (sales person) who was very professional, friendly and informative, the level of detail he provided was exactly what we expected and more. We had conducted our own research and everything he discussed validated what we perceived as a quality diamond. The environment was personalized and intimate, the choices of diamonds was wide ranging but customized to our desire. The setting was perfect for display of the beautiful token of love. We settled on the diamond, it was presented on July 21st in San Antonio at dinner in a cozy, romantic restaurant. The brilliance of the diamond illuminated and was immediately complimented by the staff and other patrons. She said yes!! I immediately thought of Walter and the staff at Washington Diamond for making this special time memorable. Top notch service, quality and merchandise!! Definitely have and would continue to recommend this establishment for making dreams come true!!
I really can't say enough good things about Tom and the whole Washington Diamond crew. We originally went out to Washington Diamond before we got engaged, when both my fiance and ...
I were trying to understand engagement rings and the various components of diamonds (cut, clarity, color, and the different scales). We had read some really great reviews about the time this store will spend explaining it all to potential customers, and the fantastic prices they have for the quality of what they do. It was such a great experience that when it came time to buy the engagement ring, my fiance went to Tom first (and last!). The quality is superb, and we both love that it's a small business that's been around for decades. We also love that they make everything in house -- from the ring itself to the setting. Their work is classic and still one of a kind.
When it came time to look for our wedding bands a few months ago, there was no question in our mind - we'd come back to Tom and the Washington Diamond crew. We love our wedding bands, and cannot WAIT to wear them for the rest of our lives (starting in September!). I've gotten two cleanings of my engagement ring -- which are complimentary -- since last February, and it sparkles like new every time!
I highly, highly recommend Washington Diamond -- so much so that I've already sent other friends of mine there to buy jewelry! We'll be customers for years to come, no question.
