I highly recommend using Washington Talent for your wedding! DJ Ralph was our MC and DJ for the night and he did a fantastic job with both the ceremony and the reception music.

I highly recommend The Wave! We had so much fun during our reception thanks to them. Their lead singers were out on the dance floor with us, engaging the crowd, which was such a fun touch! The music was a little loud at times for some of our guests, but most were out on the dance floor the whole night. The Wave played mostly pop songs as we requested, and our guests were raving about how good they were!

Encore was an amazing band! Darrin was so easy to talk to, supportive of the vibe we wanted, and great to work with. So many of our guests told us how awesome Encore was and how much fun they had.

We hired Spectrum for our wedding band and Da Vinci Strings for our ceremony music and both groups were phenomenal! We've received so many compliments from our guest about both the ceremony and reception music. The dance floor was PACKED the entire band set - at one point one of the singers even had a dance off with a guest! Highly recommend hiring Spectrum and Da Vinci Strings for your wedding - they will make your special day so memorable!

Want a fun wedding? Look no further!!! DJ Jake is literally AMAZING. I am beyond happy we used DJ Jake. He is a good time, funny, professional, talented and friendly. Jake is easy to communicate with, he is very timely with his responses. The weeks leading up to the wedding, me had multiple phone calls discussing details. This made me feel very at ease the day of out wedding. DJ Jake kept the wedding going just as it should. DJ Jake played just about every genre of music and took music requests. Our wedding truly felt like a night club - which is exactly what we wanted! Everyone at that wedding danced the entire night. People were sore the next day!! I truly have nothing negative to say about our experience with Jake. He made our day amazing!!

Black Tie Band is AWESOME! They were everything we wanted in a wedding band and helped ensure our reception was a nonstop dance party. They came highly recommended by a friend who had been at a wedding they played the previous year, and after going to their showcase (and several other bands’ showcases) we knew they were best fit for our day and honestly, they totally exceeded our expectations. We hired them for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and added horns for the reception. They were the perfect mix of professional and reliable, but also relaxed and reassuring – and above all, FUN and high-energy! The band leader Zach is responsive, helpful, and was able to make recommendations on some logistical questions we had, as well as provide guidance on which players and instruments would be best for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Strongly recommend hiring them – and add on the horns!

We booked Onyx for our wedding reception, and they were incredible! They truly made the event a party, and we loved how interactive they were with guests. So many of our guests have praised their talents and told us how much fun they had with Onyx. They are incredibly talented and bring a ton of enthusiasm and energy to the party! Booking a band was our #1 priority for the reception, and we could not be happier we got Onyx.

Encore We looked at so many bands and from the promo video to first being introduced to the band leader Darrin and all through the wedding, something just clicked with Encore. They learned 5 unique songs for our wedding ceremony and reception. They had everyone up and dancing the entire night. They had songs ranging from motown and oldies, to country, to modern pop, to some hip hop - their range is unmatched. People told us they’ve never heard a band even attempt to play some of the songs they did and they crushed it. Almost everyone at the wedding asked how we found them, who they were, and said it was one of the best if not the best wedding band they’d ever seen. Over a month later and people are still raving about them. On top of it all they were on the more affordable side and worked with us on options that fit our budget. We had (1) horn that was extra. If you want people up and dancing, if you want showmanship, if you want to party, book Encore!

We hired Rhythm6 from Washington Talent for our wedding on June 18, 2022. They were amazing and had our guests dancing the whole time! They were super easy to work with and we truly had the best time dancing all night. We highly recommend Rhythm6!

Black Tie made our dreams of a crowded, sweaty, jumping, screaming dance floor come true! We had so many guests come up to us during the reception to ask, "Where did you find this band?!" The band effortlessly and beautifully accommodated our song requests for our first dance and parent dances, and then launched into a nonstop party set, complete with two extra horns. We thought it was so cool how the band engaged with our guests from the stage and on the dance floor; they kept the energy up and the party going until the end of the night! Highly, highly recommend.

Black Tie was AMAZING! They did such a great job - our guests were dancing on the floor all night. The band really knew how to read the room and what songs to play. We also added two horns to the group which made them sound even better. They accommodated a special request from us, working with my sister to coordinate a song she sang with them on stage. Purnell was also phenomenal to work with! He answered all our questions and made us feel at ease throughout the entire process. WTA is extremely professional and a fantastic company to work with. We are so happy we had Black Tie at our wedding!

The Elites are without a doubt the BEST band to book if you are looking to have an absolute party on your wedding day! We booked them for our Philadelphia wedding through Washington Talent Agency and we could not recommend The Elites more! Everyone was up on the dance floor and we received so many comments post-wedding on how amazing they were and they were the best wedding band people have seen. Dannis, the band leader, really took the time to get to know us and our musical preferences, so the set list was perfect for our big day. Dannis and the Elites also preformed a wide range of songs for our first dances flawlessly!

We had the band, Millenium, and they were PHENOMENAL!! Absolutely carried the party all night long and made sure no one wanted to leave the dance floor, which was all we wanted for our wedding reception! They were also super accommodating for our song requests and played our first dance song beautifully!! Can't say enough about this band.

Stop looking for wedding bands right now and hire RHYTHM 6! They brought the party and are so incredibly talented. I don't think there was a single person at our wedding who didn't come up to us and tell us how much they loved the band. Not to mention, they were incredibly patient with my 2 year old nephew who wanted to take the drummer's job ;-). Earle was a great frontman who took care of everything I needed as a bride and managed our ceremony and cocktail hour sound as well. I can't thank them enough for making my dancing queen dreams come true! It was an epic party - people chanted "One More Song!" at the end of the night!

We were so excited to book a band for our wedding and had so much trouble finding the perfect band. We had been interested in the band Onyx when we were first booking vendors for our wedding (pre-covid) and they were already booked. When we had to re-plan everything, we were so excited we were able to hire Onyx. Marc at the talent agency was so helpful and flexible and worked with us to book Onyx and help our wedding dreams come true. Our friends and family are still talking about how great our band was at our wedding a month later. Onyx got everyone on the dance floor and had a great energy. Elliot, a singer in the band, was so attentive to my husband and I-making sure we had time to eat, making sure we were having a good time, and included all the songs we had talked about before the wedding. The band learned a special song we requested for our first dance which we truly appreciated. When they sang the Hora, everyone was out of their chairs and having such an amazing time-we will never forget it! I highly recommend booking Onyx if you're looking for a high-energy band for your wedding day!

Primetime!!!!!! What an amazing, fun, energetic and talented group! A love of music brought me and my husband together, so finding an awesome band to play at our wedding reception was super important for us. We feel so lucky to have been able to have Primetime play at our wedding, they were phenomenal. They will have your guests dancing the whole night! Even those who I have never seen dance in my whole life were up on their feet. We couldn't recommend them more!

Rhythm6 (our Washington Talent Agency band) absolutely made our wedding. They were the best part of the night! The dance floor was packed all night and the energy levels were HIGH. Every single one of our guests, and every single band member, was having the BEST time! So many of our guests left saying this was the best wedding band they had ever seen. Plus, they sounded amazing!

We booked Millennium for our 10/4/19 wedding and we are literally still getting compliments about them! We worked with Alana during the booking processing and she was fantastic. When it got closer to the wedding we started working with Travis to plan out the specifics for our ceremony and reception and are so grateful for his attention to detail and the bands incredible talent. They know how to read the room and we could trust them to make sure everything would run smoothly. They even let my brother sing a song with the band which was one of the highlights of the night. Laura was out on maternity leave during our wedding but the girl who was temporarily in her place was still amazing. You cannot go wrong booking with Millennium!

We could not say enough AMAZING things about Millenium!! We had to postpone our wedding from last July 2020 to September 2020 and WTA/Millenium (specifically Shana who helped us with the contract, Travis the male lead and Laura the female lead) couldn't have been more flexible. We had a list of things we wanted to touch base on a few weeks prior to our wedding. Travis (and Laura) ended up taking our call within a day of Travis and his wife having a baby! Travis and Millenium are so dedicated to the band and truly wants their couples to have THE BEST experience!! We truly were so blessed to have Travis and Laura perform at our wedding - afterwards our guests did not stop complimenting the band!!!! They made every moment so special and really knew how to navigate the crowd with their song choices. Really, we could not have been more thankful to have Travis, Laura and Millenium preform!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

As a bride who did extensive research on wedding bands in the Maryland/DC area & attended multiple showcases and gigs to find the right team, I can tell you YOUR SEARCH CAN END HERE! SPECTRUM is one of a kind, and you should just book them right now! My wedding was 9/19/2020, and SPECTRUM had everyone dancing all night long! Everyone is apprehensive with COVID, but SPECTRUM was able to deliver a truly earth shattering performance & I do not for one minute regret our decision to go forth because we were able to safely party & have the night of our lives. SPECTRUM does it all & had a playlist with a little something for guests of all ages, my NY family was truly blown away. SPECTRUM is so unique in that they are so dynamic & have so many vocalists that they never “take a break” & keep the energy high all night. Do yourself a favor & hire them, they will not disappoint & Ben was so easy to work with in making plans leading up to the day.

Millennium performed at our 9/1/19 wedding... we knew that they were amazing prior to wedding day - but WOW, they completely blew us away!! Chuck at WTA and Travis (head of the band) were both a pleasure to work with in the months and weeks leading up to the event, answering all our questions and reassuring us that everything would run smoothly. Not only did the evening run according to plan without any hiccups, but we heard from many guests that they were the absolute best wedding band people had ever experienced. I may be biased as the bride, but I absolutely agree! The band learned not only one but two new songs for our special dances, both of which sounded as good - if not better than - the original versions. They are expensive but 10000% worth it - I truly can't recommend highly enough!!

Millennium is worth every penny. Book them and rest assured that you are going to have a memorably incredible band at your wedding with a seamless planning experience leading up to it. They are pros. Millennium blew everyone away. Within minutes of the reception starting, people started asking us where we found the amazing band. They are very talented and covered a wide spectrum of sound. During dinner we had dinner style music which included Travis looping with his beat box skills and acoustic guitar. Mindblowing. I observed as guests stopped mid-conversation to turn around and watch Travis. The band played a sentimental song they had learned for our first dance. Then they picked up the energy for a night of dancing. They covered the wedding dance classics, and as the night went on, transitioned to modern hits that kept the dance floor packed. Travis and Laura were at one point singing two songs at the same time (remixing, fading, not sure what to call it?), and I had to run up front to watch them. I am so glad we booked Millennium. They made our wedding vision come to life with a fun, energetic band and packed dance floor. Travis was extremely easy to work with and put me at ease. And they were all so friendly the night-of. I could not have asked for anything better. And thank you to Ilana from WTA for being so kind and pleasant to work with in our planning. Thank you!!!

We have been continuously impressed with Washington Talent Agency since booking Encore over a year ago. When we were still deciding which band to perform at our wedding, Dave answered our many questions and helped us pick what worked best for our tastes and budget. He even went out of his way to make sure we were able to see Encore before booking them by providing us tickets to a wedding convention where they were performing. On the day of, our guests told us multiple times how much they loved the band. They were high energy, and had everyone on the dance floor the entire time. They listened to our requests during the reception, and when there was a power issue it was handled very professionally. Thanks again!

We hired ONYX for our wedding last Friday and they were amazing! I can’t say good enough things about this band, not only were they good performers but they were also very friendly and good people! Everyone commented on how awesome onyx was the days after the wedding. I would 100 recommend booking them!

We had the BEST TIME EVER with Spectrum at our wedding. So many people have told us repeatedly that Spectrum was the best band they've ever seen, and this was the best dance party they've ever had for a wedding, and we agree! We felt like guests at our own wedding because we danced the night away. Bob (who coordinated the band set up) and Ben from Spectrum had a tough job on their hands- we wanted a mix of Latin music, top 40/pop, hip hop and a couple oldies thrown in. They played the perfect combo, and played all our must have songs so well. They also learned my processional song (Falling Slowly), which I really appreciated. The band has a wide range of vocal talent, so basically all music is possible, and it's so much better and engaging live! Also, we had to transition our dance party inside for our last hour due to noise ordinance, but the transition was seamless. The whole band looked like they were also having the best time, and it made our guests have more fun and my husband and I feel really special. I wish I could repeat our whole night over again and a big portion of that is due to how amazing Spectrum was.

I can’t say enough great things about the Washington Talent Agency and the Black Tie Band. Shana at Washington Talent was super nice and helpful on the phone, including sending me suggested bands based on what I was looking for (really versatile/lots of different genres, from hip-hop to pop, with a mixture of older songs). I was given a chance to see a showcase live and fell in love with Black tie immediately. Once chosen and contract signed, one lead of the band retired but it was the smoothest process, John the General Manager took over from where we left off in the planning. We had unique choices for our first dance songs and they had no problem learning the songs and played them to perfection. Loved their slow mix of Backstreet Boys played during dinner. And of course, EVERYONE, from youngest to oldest, was on the dance floor all night, exactly what we wanted.

Da Vinci Strings played beautifully for the ceremony and reception. Fred (manager) was very easy to communicate and bounce off ideas. They set the mood for the whole special day. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Onyx was amazing! They made sure our day was special. Music and singers were on point! We were dancing the whole night away. Everyone at the party was amazed by this band and gave us compliments. My only complaint with Washington Talent Agency is that they give you the survey a month before your special wedding day. I was given a hard time wanting the survey earlier as I wanted to check it off my list. Make sure to listen to the band list ahead of time as this made the process go much faster to tell them the music.

We hired Spectrum to play at our wedding, and they were awesome!!!! So good! Everyone was up and dancing the entire time. They really kept the energy up, and everyone had such a blast. HIRE SPECTRUM!

We had spectrum and they were absolutely phenomenal. They learned our first dance song and executed wonderfully. I literally had a blast and was so thankful for having them as our band as they truly make a huge difference! I am still having people commenting on how awesome the band was. Makes me want to throw another party just to have them play again! They are worth every penny.

By far our BEST decision in planning our wedding was our band selection!!! We had ENCORE at our wedding and they were INCREDIBLE! Throughout the entire process Dave answered all of our questions promptly and helped us coordinate exactly what we wanted for our reception. BT (the band leader) is a joy to work with. He called us a few weeks before our wedding to make sure all of the details were ironed out and to see if we had any questions. We are still dreaming of our reception! At one point they were playing a song by Norah Jones and my husband and I thought for a second that Norah Jones was actually singing at our wedding. That's just how good they are! Our guests couldn't stop raving about them and our dance floor was constantly packed! I loved how at certain points the singers would come out on the dance floor and really get the party going by singing and dancing with our guests. They were genuinely happy and celebrating in the joy of our marriage with all of our guests! Encore is amazing and I highly recommend them!!!

Black Tie performed at our wedding and we couldn't have asked for a more fun and engaging band! They played a great selection of slower music while people ate and then took it all up a notch afterwards. I sent them a dozen favorite songs from their list that my then-fiance and I had picked along with my siblings. They played all those songs and everything else they played went along perfectly. We got LOTS of compliments on the band and we were so happy to have so many friends dance the night away with us.

We had Black Tie band perform at our wedding and it was the BEST decision we could've made! The dance floor was never empty, starting from the moment the guests walked into the venue. All of our guests have continued to tell my husband and I how incredible our band was. They started off strong and did not stop until the very end of the night. They even played during dinner (beat boxing and acoustic!) and never took a break. We had them do our music for the ceremony, as well, and everything was perfect. Black Tie was the best decision for our wedding!

We used Onyx as our wedding band and people are still raving about how wonderful they were. Our entrance and my father-daughter dance were choreographed and they were amazing to communicate with ahead of time to figure out all of the logistics. David was extremely responsive and listened to everything we asked. I'd pick Onyx as our wedding band a million times over!

My fiance - I guess now husband :) - and I are huge music buffs and we knew from the beginning that the band was one of the TOP priorities, if not THE top. Music is the integral part of setting the tone and mood of a wedding, and WTA and Encore Band went above and beyond to help execute our wedding day! From the get go, our sales rep Dave Sherman was wonderful to work with - he gave great advice, was extremely responsive and professional, and very easy to work with. We had so many questions during our whole planning process and he was awesome and chill while answering our 1000 questions. Next.... we cannot say enough amazing words about ENCORE BAND. We have been to our fair share of weddings, and so many of our friends are huge music fans. Countless people have since then texted us, called us, and told us how Encore Band crushed it and were one of the best bands they've seen. So many people have also come to us saying that Darren's voice reminded them so much of John Legend - if not better! BT (Encore's band leader) was so chill and so awesome to work with. We had so many random requests leading up to our wedding day, and he took each question and request in stride. Encore Band hadn't played at our venue yet, and BT took the extra time to visit the venue on his own and make sure everything would run smoothly day of. Everyone from Encore Band was so wonderful and made our day that much more fun of a celebration. I'm shocked we were able to have Encore Band at our wedding for the price we paid - book them soon before they get bigger! Seriously. Thank you again.

Washington Talent Agency is wonderful! We had Onyx perform at our wedding this past July 29th and they were absolutely amazing! Everyone had a great time dancing and singing along to the songs all night long! Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful Onyx was! Every band member in Onyx was also outstanding - extremely talented but also professional, personable, kind, and a joy to work with! We cannot thank Onyx enough! They were truly incredible!

We liked Infusion from the moment we saw them at a showcase they put on in their studio. Although there were only five people in the audience on that random weeknight, the band members had so much energy and were clearly good at getting people engaged and on the dancefloor. The band leader spent 30 mins talking about the band, how they work, the songs they play. We eventually booked them because they seemed fun and a good value. Leading up to our wedding, Washington Talent, the booking agent we used, sent us an extensive questionarrie to capture all of the important songs we wanted played. We worked directly with Nita, the band leader, to coordinate the recorded music they would provide for the ceremony (using their equipment) and the songs they had to learn (up to three) for our first dance and last dance. We emailed and called frequently to make sure everything was in order! During the breaks they offered to DJ a list of songs for us. One song we had requested didn't make the playlist but they were flexible enough to add it in last minute. We also loved how the MC kept the evening moving but never tried to take the spotlight or talk too much. Another reason we loved Infusion was that two singers were brother-sister and were so natural together. Unfortunately, Nita got into a car accident the week before our wedding and couldn't sing at our wedding. The substitute was still just as great and the night was still flawless. Nita called a few days later to apologize, thank us for the tip and make sure everything went as we had hoped. Nita resolved the situation seamlessly despite her own ailments and it caused us no stress!

Washington Talent Agency was great. They helped us find a great wedding band, Infusion and a photo booth. The photo booth was a hit and it has been so fun reviewing the pictures. The band, Infusion, was beyond amazing. They kept everyone up and dancing the whole night. It was so easy working with WTA the whole time especially when I had to make some adjustments to our timeline, they were so accommodating.

Prime Time is an amazing wedding band who had our guests dancing all night. We had a deposit down with another band, but went to see Prime Time’s showcase at the request of our wedding planner. We were blown away and knew Prime Time would make our wedding. They also let my husband play guitar with them for a song, which was one of the most memorable moments of the night. Our and family and friends are still talking about how amazing Prime Time was. Highly recommended!

Prime Time was fantastic! The have a wide range of songs and were incredibly accommodating. Multiple people told us that they danced more at our wedding than they had at any other wedding. They kept a great flow and energy for the night, and set the perfect tone. We are so happy we had them!

We had the band Onyx play at our wedding and will ALWAYS remember it! David and his team could not have been any more professional. We enjoyed every single second of working with them. My husband and I booked Infusion, the most amazing band at Washington Talent Agency, for our June 24th wedding at Blue Valley Vineyard in Delaplane, VA. Infusion exceeded all expectations for our wedding and ROCKED the house! Every single guest, 150 of them, were on the dance floor and RAVING about how amazing our band was well after the wedding. Nita, our band director, was in contact with us from about 2 months out and worked diligently to include all of our favorite songs and make our wedding one for the BOOKS! Encore was the highlight of our wedding reception!! They are so upbeat and talented and were so wonderful to work with. I have so many (unsolicited) great things to say about them that I have to break this review up into sections: Professionalism: There was never a moment where we felt any lack of communication or attention to detail from them. Bob Mills was our primary contact who helped organize and facilitate everything from the start. He is absolutely wonderful and really helped us during the initial stages of choosing a band. BT was our contact from Encore itself and he was also excellent to work with. BT called a few weeks and a few days before the wedding to make sure everything was planned out. He asked us what types of music we wanted (and didn't want) played at the reception. He also asked about the timeline of the night and also made sure they had the pronunciation correct for everyone's name in our wedding party which I really appreciated. Talent: Their website and videos do not do them justice! I swear there were times in the night that I thought they were playing recordings of the actual songs because they sounded so good . They played a wide variety of songs that even had the most conservative members of our families up and dancing for most of the night. Energy and Personality: This was probably my favorite part about Encore. I honestly felt that they were happy to be there celebrating our wedding - they felt more like our (very talented and professional) wedding guests then a hired vendor. I was looking through our wedding photos the other day and there are several pictures of Encore in the background clapping, smiling and celebrating right along with our friends and families. They even sang an impromptu a cappella song about our wedding cake at the end of the night! Thank you so much Bob Mills and Encore for making our wedding that much more special. You truly exceeded all of our expectations.

Our New Year’s Eve wedding was a dream come true... thanks to Black Tie Band!
