David at Washington's Best was incredibly easy to work with, very responsive and helped us to discover/book Eric Waters (guitarist). Eric was courteous, professional, easy going, and a fantastic guitar player. His range of music was exactly what we were hoping for and he ensured that our day was so special. Cannot recommend Eric enough and working with Washington's Best for any music needs you may have!
Amaretto was WONDERFUL at our wedding reception at The Fairmont- what amazing performers!!
We can’t describe how GREAT they were!! Guests could NOT stop raving about the band all night and all morning at brunch! While wedding planning months ago, selecting the band was one of our biggest decisions- a good band makes the entire reception.
I was so excited for the reception music because I knew everyone’s skill and experience guaranteed it would be fantastic- and they still exceeded our expectations! They accommodated our music requests prior to the big day and kept everyone on the dance floor enjoying themselves!! As a fellow musician, I truly appreicated how talented and professional they were and how much energy and fun Amaretto infused into the reception!
One word AMAZING is that we was so happy with everything Video graphics and musicians that we will use this company for anything we have.
Thanks again for all you have done
Amaretto is probably one of, if not the best, wedding band I have ever had the pleasure of hearing, and believe me, I’ve been attending weddings for many, many years. Amaretto played at my daughter’s wedding. From start to finish, from the hiring process to the end of a wonderful celebration, Amaretto was amazing. [T]he band leader was easy to work with, flexible, and accommodating. He initiated, and maintained, communication with my daughter throughout the planning phases of the wedding, played the music the couple wanted, and even communicated with and supported me in my efforts to choreograph and carry out a flashmob at the wedding (which was a huge success!). The band is incredibly talented and played such great music that the dance floor was full every time the band played their sets.
An interesting anecdote will communicate how good this band is. I was doing some legwork to help my daughter find a band for the wedding. I narrowed down my search to 3 or 4 bands, and my daughter and her then-fiance went to see the bands. They were very interested in Amaretto — it was their top priority — but right before I agreed to hire them, a friend of mine, who had been in the band-hiring business in previous years, said that he’d been to a wedding in Washington, DC, and heard a band that was incredible. I waited to hear the name of that band, thinking that perhaps there was one better than Amaretto. When I heard from him that the band he had heard was, in fact, Amaretto, I immediately contacted [them] and hired the band!
Do yourself a favor and hire this band. Don’t necessarily go through the various agents who offer Amaretto’s services… go onto their website www.amarettoband.com and contact [them] directly
After extensively researching dozens of wedding bands in Washington, New York and throughout the region – including online reviews of comments/videos/audio files, sending friends to watch bands in-person (we recent re-located abroad) and phone interviews – we chose Amaretto. Our expectations were high - as the band leader noted that they had 13 music degrees among the 9 members - but their performance at our wedding reception FAR exceeded anything we could have imagined (they performed a quartet for our cocktail hour and full nine-piece band for the reception). In the set-up, the band leader (David) was incredibly responsive to email or phone inquiries and even set-up an in-person meeting during our brief visit to Washington. He gladly accepted a number of our special requests (songs, activities during ceremony, etc) and also offered a number of unique ideas that he'd seen work at previous wedding receptions. Most importantly, the band's performance was absolutely outstanding. They read the tempo of the room throughout the evening, kept the party on the dance floor, and left the entire room buzzing about their talents. No less than three dozen guests approached me to comment on the band's musical talent (vocals, horns, base, etc), range of songs, and high-energy personalities. I could not recommend Amaretto highly enough and believe they were worth every dollar that we spent. We would hire them again for a major event.
Amaretto–A
Fabulous. We almost needed a bigger room for dancing! Our room was bursting at the seams because these guys had the floor packed all night. They sounded fantastic and knew how to keep the energy up. They played us one mean hora–I have honestly never had so much fun and gotten so sweaty during a hora. Everywhere I looked people (many of whom had never done a hora) were sweaty and dancing, too with huge breathless grins. Amaretto was fun with the crowd too-at one point the trumpet and trombone player started to travel around the reception hall and dance with guests while playing their instruments. So fun!! We got so many compliments on the band and would definitely hire them again in a heartbeat. Very highly recommend.
David,
Just wanted to say a quick thank you for the amazing job you and your musicians did at our wedding. We had absolutely the best time in much part due to the great music that had everybody dancing and raving about you all.
Thank you also for all your hard work in helping with the preparation, answering a million questions and never saying no to any request. My favorite part was the beautiful music at the ceremony-“The Blower’s Daughter” was so moving and exactly what I had envisioned on my wedding day. The piano playing with Amy was perfect.
Please, please do not hesitate to use us as a reference for any future couples to contact us.
Thank you again for everything!!! It was the greatest night of our lives.

As the night ended the crowd chanted "ONE MORE SONG ONE MORE SONG" and I could have sworn I was at a concert and not my own wedding. My dad says he hasn't had that much fun since he was in his 20s! To put it mildly, Amaretto was so so much fun!! They were a joy to work with but nothing could have prepared me for the amount of fun we had with them during the party. My only regret is that the night wasn't longer! They are so incredibly talented and I wish I could have another party just to hire them again! Everyone danced all night long and is still raving about them. I highly recommend Amaretto - especially if you invite me to your wedding so I can dance to them again!!
David Fletcher was great. Easy to work with, very professional, and great musicians. Highly recommend.
True professionals whose love for their profession are conveyed through the art. Easy to work with during the planning phase, unbelieveable prices, and exceptional results! I highly recommend their photographers and musicians.
Both the groom and I were impressed with the quality of service we received for the price.
Our ceremony started an hour late and with the beautiful guitar music playing outside the guests were entertained and hopefully not as angry with us as they could have been :) The guitarist played the songs we requested with a short notice.
The Videographer was awesome, he was very attentive and got video that was just priceless that we did not even witness since we were so busy being pulled in all different directions as the couple. They were reasonably priced and really will work with your budget.
We had over 150 people at the wedding and each and every one stated that Amaretto was the best band they have heard at the wedding...they played a great mix of songs, classics and current. They were even willing to learn a few for our first dance and father/daughter dances. simply cannot go wrong with this band. They even offered a jazz trio for our cocktail hour! David Fletcher is a true professional who was extremely timely and polite in returning my calls and we always felt as if we were his only client. I cannot say enough good things about this band!! They also provided a "tape" player so our niece could sing a dedication song for my wife's mother! A request we didn't find out about until our niece showed up the day before the wedding with a cassette tape.
The videographer did an amazing job!! He had some great ideas, and was really non invasive. I was really impressed with all of his work, and I highly recommend!
Very cheap!;You could tell I didn't pay much. The video was good but didn't have backround music or anything. The sound was off in some parts.
