We booked the Compass Room for our rehearsal dinner. It was a nice space, the only downside was the stairs for our older guests (they did not have an elevator). The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. They also let us rehearse the ceremony on the little side deck next door as well!

Cape Ann's Marina was the absolute PERFECT place for our 4th of July wedding! Elyse and her team were first class and handled everything flawlessly from start to finish. If you're looking for a waterfront wedding venue, you must visit Elyse at Cape Ann's Marina!

The people that manage the hotel part of this company are fantastic. They were well versed in customer service, also giving me updated lists of my guest staying over, handing out welcome bags, and ultimately accommodating my guests.

Best of both worlds @ the Cape Ann Marina!!!! You have the feeling of being indoors when you are actually outside and on the water!!!! The view is spectacular! Our guests were also able to stay here as there is a hotel with several amenities, including a pool, restaurant and bar. We stayed in the suite which was clean with awesome water views. We highly recommend $1 Oyster Sundays or brunch! I cannot say enough about our wedding coordinator, Elyse who made sure I had all my I's and T's crossed. She made my tent look STUNNING...It says a lot when you are a native of Gloucester and could go elsewhere and stay in this amazing venue.... GORG!

The Cape Ann Marina was a wonderful place to have a wedding. A little different than your traditional hotel banquet room wedding. However, there were a few things that I was not thrilled with. For Example, there is a huge crane, that I assume is there to lift boats out of the water when the boating season is over. That crane is right next to the tent and made a cameo in a lot of pictures. Its rather ugly. Also, lining up to walk down the aisle next to a dumpster full of smelly, rotten food was not a high point for me. Those are really my only 2 complaints. The staff, from the wedding coordinator to bartenders, were amazing. They knew their stuff and helped get you through the whole process seamlessly. It was a great day and I have them to thank for that.

We recently had our reception here, and were incredibly impressed with the space, professionalism and overall experience at the Cape Ann Marina Resort. The wedding coordinator Elyse was fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure our day went perfectly. From the first meeting we had, to the final meeting the week before I was completely confident that our event would be amazing- and it really was! The tent and space was beautiful, our guests loved the view and accommodations. We had our rehearsal dinner there and the food was excellent, as well as the service. Staff was friendly and accommodating making sure whatever I needed would get done. This is an excellent value, and is a gorgeous spot for a waterside wedding!

It was a very nice setting on the canal, but a little cold to enjoy the scenery. It was in a big tent, and very cold, even though I had heater. I told them I wanted it to be comfortable, but there was not enough heaters. But everything else was accomodating. The food was excellent, and was catered by Ipswich Clambake.

I loved the space because it was right on the water which was what I wanted.;The staff at the Cape Ann Marina Resort were not helpful, almost to the point of rude at times. It rained on my wedding day, and they had promissed to put up the sides of the tent and put out heaters for my guests, and did not. Puddles formed under my guest tables and nobody from the venue cared. There was no place to take pictures, and the on-site coordinator never introduced herself to my husband or myself or offered any assistance whatsoever. I do not recommend this venue.
