Since its origin on October 12, 1894, the Waterloo Elks Lodge 290 has had a long and prestigious history. Following the 4 stations of Fidelity, Brotherly Love, Charity and Justice, the Waterloo Elks continue to play an extremely active role in both the community and Elkdom. The Lodge has provided extensive contributions of both money and manpower to hundreds of civic projects in the past and looks forward to being an active part of the community in the future.

free for us. We had room there to get ready there the morning of for both the ladies and men. It worked out very well having the hair/makeup come to us on site and not traveling as much.
The venue was quite beautiful, including the stunning circle bar for a cocktail hour prior to the reception, as well as the grand ball room for our reception. Originally we had an outdoor wedding planned at a separate location, but of course Iowa weather didn’t cooperate. The Elks was very accommodating being able to move the ceremony indoors and everything looked beautiful.
We received nothing but complements on our food catered by the Elks Club. We selected pork and chicken dishes, and the food was delicious.

g is really overpriced (but you do pay for what you get - it was quality) and 2. I was not impressed with the food. Our taste testing was awful - we didn't like any of the meats, so we chose pasta which was good! The venue was perfect for us, though, and I would definitely recommend it!
