My wife and I got married at Waterloo and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the beginning, Diane was patient and transparent and made the booking process easy. We really want to shout out our planner, Nic, who legitimately made the process a breeze and was incredible throughout. Nic was ALWAYS accessible, kind, knowledgeable, honest, and always steered us in the right direction when we were indecisive on any aspect of the big day. Nic truly was one of the only non-stressful parts of the wedding planning process. The venue itself was beautiful and so well-maintained. All of our guests commented on how stunning the property was and how seamless the day went thanks to the amazing staff at Waterloo. We wish we could do it all again and experience it as guests! The team even packed up food for us that we didn’t get to eat in the mayhem of the night and for that we are forever grateful! If you are touring venues, be sure to put Waterloo on your list!

She gave us our first tour of Waterloo, and at a time when we honestly didn’t think having our wedding there was possible, she found a way to make it happen. She believed in our vision and helped make our dream of celebrating at Waterloo a reality. We will always be grateful to her for that. Her kindness and professionalism are unmatched!
And then there is Nic. We truly cannot imagine our wedding experience without him. From the beginning of planning through our wedding day, he made us feel completely seen, heard, and understood. He has an incredible ability to anticipate what you need, curate every detail, and bring calm and confidence to the entire experience. He knew what to do even when we didn’t, and always seemed to know exactly when to guide us and when to simply let us lead. When we knew where we wanted to go, he helped us get there and made our vision even better. He is an incredible professional, but even more importantly, he is an exceptionally kind person who became a friend to us. My bridal party kept saying “Nic for President”, we cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Nic. If 20 stars was an option, he earned it.
We also have to give a huge shoutout to the entire Jeffrey Miller Catering (JAM) team. From the beginning, they made us feel like family rather than clients. The warmth and genuine care they showed us made it feel like so much more than a business relationship. And the food was phenomenal! We loved the use of local ingredients, and even our tasting felt like a wedding in itself. Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious everything was.
Waterloo Village itself is absolutely breathtaking. Every corner is beautiful, charming, and full of character. The bridal cottage is absolutely adorable and was such a beautiful, cozy, and thoughtful place to begin our wedding day. The loft for the Groom and his friends provided a fun space as well! Every detail throughout the property felt intentional and special.
On our wedding day, the Waterloo and JAM teams went above and beyond to make everything seamless. We had a challenging weather day, and everyone responded with incredible kindness, flexibility, professionalism, and care. From providing tons of umbrellas to helping with transportation and constantly checking in on us and our guests, they made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of.
One of the greatest compliments is that our guests kept telling us how wonderful the staff were. We heard again and again how helpful, communicative, attentive, and composed everyone was. Our guests noticed the genuine care just as much as we did.
From our very first tour with Diane, through planning with Nic, our tasting with JAM, and our wedding day, we never felt like just another wedding. We felt genuinely cared for, supported, and celebrated.
Diane, Nic, and the entire Waterloo and JAM teams — thank you for taking our vision and making it even more beautiful than we imagined. You made an already breathtaking venue feel absolutely perfect for us.

Waterloo Village can accommodate up to 240 guests and houses a number of historic buildings that act as time capsules of 19th-century life. These include a working mill, a general store, a blacksmith shop, an active church, a colonial-style mansion, a stone home, and more. Each of these buildings is filled with rich history and make for great locations to take photographs with your wedding party. Numerous streams, winding paths, bridges, gardens, and wooded glens also provide picturesque settings. Receptions are held in the newly-renovated meeting house, which features hardwood floors, exposed beams, and a stone fireplace. An outdoor compound with a large white gazebo can also be used for ceremonies.

Multiple guests told us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. The cake was amazingly decorated, with two flavors that also impressed. Nic was a wonderful coordinator who kept things in order, but also brought a calming presence which is severely needed in the wedding planning process! We have nothing but amazing things to say about Waterloo, and I am so excited that we chose a venue that allows us to visit it as a park goer later in life!! If you are looking for a nature-based wedding with a touch of rustic vibes, amazing food, and lovely staff, this is the place for you!

Our wedding coordinator Nic was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to always keep us on track and organized, be very responsive to our questions and ensure that our wedding day ran seamlessly and aligned with our wants. Waterloo is unique from other venues as they include their own caterer (JAM), wedding cake, beautiful decor and rentable options, a wedding coordinator and a team of great people to make it all happen! On our wedding day Nic did a wonderful job of incorporating our decor as well as rented decor to make our vision come to life. Our ceremony being held in the orchard was so beautiful and guests were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a welcome drink.The food was AMAZING and was genuinely the best food I’ve ever had from a wedding venue as they are farm to table providing healthy and delicious options. We experienced zero issues from start to finish and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing the whole day! We felt very taken care of with our coordinator ensuring we ate and had drinks we enjoyed. At the end of the night the staff was extremely helpful by packing up all our decor in a timely manner so all we had to do was pop it into our cars! Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the serene venue, the decor, the food and many stated that it was the best wedding they ever experienced! We can’t recommend Waterloo Village and JAM Catering enough!! It was the wedding of our dreams and I will always look back on this day with memories to last a lifetime.

are many spots onsite for wedding photos with historic structures and nature and animals live on the property (alpacas came to cocktail hour!) Our event designer, Nic, was so organized and responsive and thoroughly answered any questions we had. He had a folder on Google Drive with all of the paperwork in one spot as well as an online portal that made it easy to keep track of what we needed. On the day of I didn't have to worry about a thing venue-wise. The staff are considerate and made sure that all our guests were comfortable, for example, it was very hot and they made sure our immediate family could sit in air conditioning prior to the ceremony start. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable- we had many compliments from guests. We went with the included decor and it was so beautiful. Everyone from accounting to the bartenders were incredibly professional and kind. Can't recommend enough.

The moment that my husband and I saw Waterloo Village, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. Waterloo Village is a rustic, nature-inspired, 200 year old well-preserved ghost tow...
n and state park, and has a farm with farm-to-table foods and multiple animals. It was also all-inclusive, and included decorations, food, cake, drinks, and an option for an after party.
The staff was also incredible throughout the entire process, and made the planning process painless. The communication was great and we had multiple meetings with them to ensure that everything ran smoothly. They were able to accommodate unique requests seamlessly. We mainly worked with Nic and Diane, and we loved both of them, along with everyone else who was involved in our wedding.
JAM Hospitality also started as a catering service, so their food is top notch. Multiple guests said that the food was the best they had at a wedding. Good food is very important to my husband and me, and we were very impressed.
Many of the guests arrived early to see the animals, walk around the ghost town and go into the small museums, while others went hiking nearby to enjoy the beautiful nature.
The morning of the wedding, I arrived early with my girls to get ready in the bridal cabin, and they provided a delicious breakfast, iced coffee, champagne, and multiple other snacks. They refilled the snacks during lunch time with a large charcuterie board. The men enjoyed their groom’s area which had video games, foosball, beer, as well as charcuterie and snacks. We then were brought out to the ghost town for a first look and photos, and our entire bridal party was able to walk around and get photos in the ghost town, which was a lot of fun.
There are multiple outdoor ceremony spaces which are gorgeous, and also beautiful indoor spaces. Before the ceremony, the guests received both hot and cold drinks to sip on. The cocktail hour building is gorgeous, in a room with multiple windows/garage doors that can be opened depending on weather, and of course alpacas were there to celebrate with us. Before we went into the cocktail hour, we were given our own space and a sample of all of the appetizers so that we had time to eat and breathe before joining our guests. The reception barn was also gorgeous, has a separate bar area away from the dancing, and a really cute coffee/barista space.
The staff the entire day was great at communicating, and solved problems effortlessly. They even stayed on top of our parents to make sure our parents were content, and got drinks for them. The after party included a delicious outdoor pizza oven, s’mores and a fire pit, which was so much fun.
If Waterloo Village is not your style, I highly recommend checking out the other venues run by JAM Hospitality. You will get the same incredible staffing, communication, and food but will be at a venue that fits your style and the ambiance you are looking for at your wedding!
My wedding was the best day of my life, and a major reason for this was due to how perfect Waterloo Village was to us. I may be partial, but I think that this is the best venue overall compared to all of the weddings I have been to, and many other guests felt the same way. Thank you so much to Waterloo Village and the JAM Hospitality staff!

Throughout the planning process, the Waterloo team were very helpful, friendly, and always sent clear instructions about what was needed. The venue offers a wide range of menu and decor options, so you can really build a package based on what you're looking for. When the day finally came, the staff were amazing --- all the logistical details were taken care of, and the venue was decorated beautifully. Plus, as many other reviewers have pointed out, the food is incredible. Particularly if you are looking for something with a rustic feel, Waterloo is a great choice!

We also really liked that the venue offered decor rental, catering, open bar, various places to have your ceremony and only had one wedding per day. The food we had on our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Still to this day, if JAM Catering had a restaurant, my husband and I would visit it regularly. The staff we had on our wedding day ensured we had everything we could ever need or want, from towels to dry my feet after being outside taking pictures in the soaked grass, to bringing my husband and I food from the cocktail hour to the bridal cottage before we joined our guests. But what really sold us was Chai and Coco the alpacas. The moment I showed my husband the pictures of the alpacas when we first started to plan our wedding two years ago, he wanted to get married at Waterloo right off the bat. Waterloo is a perfect venue for couples who want excellent food and service, a unique setting, and cute alpacas joining their special day.

They also have Alpacas that people can take pictures with during cocktail hour which my husband and I loved (and so did everyone else). And the food by JAM was amazing! It's been about two weeks since I had my reception and people still keep telling me how much they loved the food. If I was given the opportunity to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. Our planner Christine has also been great, she helped us build our menu and has been able to answer all of our questions. Overall it’s been a great experience and we can’t wait for our big day.

We held our ceremony in the enchanting 'Secret Garden,' and despite some delays in our schedule, everything ran smoothly. Christine, our wedding coordinator, was incredible. She alleviated so much of the stress and anxiety leading up to and on our special day. Diane, the venue manager, was equally amazing. She went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, even stepping in as our assistant chef when needed!
We also had the pleasure of meeting Jeff Miller during our tasting—come hungry because the food is absolutely fantastic. The entire team, from the captain to the servers, was professional, helpful, and a joy to work with.
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding!

ater but tried everything at the tasting. To my shock even food I would otherwise not touch was all amazing!!!! There wasnt a single item I didnt love. Wedding food typically is sub par, even ones ive gone to that cost double mine does and the food at Jam is from a whole new bracket. I cant wait to have all my guests actually enjoy and love every food they offer. Words cannot describe the quality of food, staff and planning. I recommend Jam and Waterloo to any bride looking for a venue, nothing compares.

g attended a wedding at the venue, the staff not only recognized me and my fiance (they didn't even know we would be there!) but went out of their way to check in a few times to see if we had any questions throughout the night, which is a testament to how caring and invested they are in their couples.
From the initial planning discussions, every interaction with the JAM Catering team has been amazing. Their responsiveness, helpfulness, and genuine enthusiasm for creating the perfect day have made the planning process much less stressful. What's even more reassuring is that all of my vendors have expressed how wonderful they are to work with. The food at the wedding and at the group tasting was so delicious. Between the beautiful farm, the adorable animals (love the alpacas), the gorgeous canal and historic homes, and the venue itself, we made our venue decision very quick! We got to see all of the ceremony spots which were all beautiful in their own unique way, but since our wedding is in summer we fell in love with their Secret Garden location. It is tucked away in the trees and just gives very magical vibes. So we are super excited!
Once we picked Waterloo as our venue, it only got better from there. Everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful. We brought our families to the open house and both sets of parents could not believe how incredible the food was! JAM catering does an amazing job of make fresh food that is sustainable and mostly grown by them (AMAZING)!
At our tasting, it was incredible how organized and friendly all of the staff were. We cannot wait for our wedding at Waterloo Village!

Everything about our experience with Jeffrey A. Miller was outstanding. From the moment my husband and I stepped foot on the grounds we knew this was exactly what our daughter envisioned. We were met by Diane who was so kind! She showed us all around the grounds and inside all the buildings and explained all the different options we could choose from. Waterloo Village is the perfect setting for an unforgettable wedding day. The food is outstanding and there are so many fun options to choose from. The rustic wedding decor and what is included makes planning a wedding so much easier. Between Diane and our wedding coordinator, Tessa, all our questions were answered, and they always got back to us right away. It was just an amazing day and there would not be a single thing we would change. I definitely recommend Waterloo Village and JAM for your wedding! You will not be disappointed. I hope I can have another event here!! It was so very enjoyable.

eddings was absolutely perfect. What drew us to this venue initially (aside from the idyllic location) was that they are a one-stop shop. Not having to coordinate with a venue, a caterer, a cake maker, a decorations rental and all of the other things you find out you need when planning a wedding made the experience so easy. It was so easy to pick our menus and really customize them to what we wanted. The rentable decor available was perfect for the look we were wanting and really created the rustic, country wedding of our dreams. And Christine and her team coordinated every detail with our outside vendors, as well.
The team at Waterloo really know what they are doing and the pride they take in making your day perfect shows in so many ways. On our wedding day, it was windy and we were faced with the tough decision to move our ceremony inside. Christine (our Waterloo Coordinator) pulled together the most beautiful indoor ceremony for us. We were married in the Mule Barn which was just absolutely stunning. And the best part was we didn’t have to do anything! Christine and her team coordinated with our vendors and let them know of the new plan before I could even type a text message. Throughout the whole day, the entire staff made sure my wife and I always had full drinks and were eating the amazing food they had prepared for us. Our guests could not stop raving about the food! Honestly, it was so good! When it came to the end of the night, they already had all of our personal items packed up neatly and even broke down our chuppah and put it back in the rental truck for us. The team was incredible and really made it so that we could just enjoy the day and our guests.
I could go on forever about how amazing Christine and her team at Waterloo Village, JAM, and just the whole experience was but just know that you will NOT regret having your wedding here. For the money you are paying you really get so MUCH MORE with JAM and Waterloo Village events! Hands down the best venue and catering company in Northern New Jersey.

t wasn't too fancy, but wasn't a barn. This was the perfect marriage of those wants! Touring the facility in 2021, we were totally enthralled by the size of the venue and all it had to offer! Alpacas at the cocktail hour? Free reign to take photos wherever we wanted on the property? Golf carts to escort guests/the bridal party? And SO MANY décor options that I wouldn't have all that to handle myself? And a coordinator to help you set it all up and be your day of coordinator? SIGN US UP!!! We had the pleasure of working with Carolyn to plan and execute the wedding. SHE IS FANTASTIC. Very reasonable to all our asks, and super accommodating. My mother-in-law has MS and is in a motorized chair that we found out during the tasting didn't fit under the farm tables that the venue had to offer. Carolyn GOT IT DONE and got us new tables for the venue that would accommodate her but fit our vision! She was kind, calm, cool and collected. Even when I had so many people drop out the day before that I had to redo the tables and food cards last minute! Through every step of the way, I felt calm an supported! We had a blast at our wedding and we totally recommend if you want an incredible venue, with incredible food, chill vibes and so much help, then Waterloo is the place for you! We got married in October 2023! And even through the two years of planning with them, they kept everything straight and literally made our day PERFECT!

It wound up raining a little on my wedding day and the staff did everything they could to keep my ceremony outside. The rustic romantic feel of the venue and everything you could possibly need is already included in the price. They offer a variety of decor and lighting options and the venue has several stone fireplaces that add to the ambiance. The entire meeting and tour with the manager Diane was perfect! Diane’s passion, personality and vision when she talked about where we could have our 1st look to the reception set up was exactly how I envisioned my wedding day.
