to the Watermill, planning for it to be the first venue we toured. After our meeting with Rob and seeing the property, we instantly knew it would also be the last. Rob made our initial visit unforgettable. He’s personable, professional, and genuinely made an effort to connect with us. We booked our wedding that very same day, and before we knew it, the big day was here. Our cocktail hour and reception were nothing short of magical. The Watermill is an absolute masterpiece in every sense—stunning atmosphere, exceptional service, and the best food we’ve ever had at a wedding (and we’re not just saying that because it was ours!). Our guests have been raving about the food ever since. From the endless cocktail hour options to the nine entrée choices during dinner, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Beyond the food, the staff truly made the night unforgettable. I felt cared for every step of the way. Christina and Francesca, my incredible bridal attendants, made sure I always had a drink in hand, food on my plate, and even helped me change my shoes when my feet started to hurt. Our maître d’ was equally amazing—attentive, organized, and ensured the entire evening ran seamlessly. To the entire Watermill team, thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams. They also did a first responder discount for us they took off some per head, which was amazing. The day of 10000/10: We worked with Nick as the Maitre D, then 2 bridal assistants, Christina and Shannon. They were all amazing, we were not used to being treated like royalty, because that is really what it was. During the pictures at the venue, Christina was literally holding our drinks, going you need a sip and holding the drink with the straw for us to sip from. Their service and attention to detail are like no other!

Even the stations during cocktail hour had people talking especially the candied bacon strips and the fall off the bone oxtail. The atmosphere tied everything together. The space was magical, romantic subtle lighting, lush floral centerpieces and a gorgeous chandelier that struck the perfect balance between elegance and warmth. The DJ had everyone on the dance floor from the first song, and the energy never let up. It felt less like an event and more like a celebration of love that we were all genuinely honored to witness. By the end of the night, every guest I spoke to said the same thing: “This is one of the best weddings I’ve ever been to.” And I couldn’t agree more. A perfect blend of heart, hospitality, and unforgettable moments. Thank you!

taff. From sitting with Rob who was amazing every step of the way in planning to working with Johnny, Christina and Elaine on our day of the entire staff went above and beyond for our special day. We toured 13 other venues before we found what we were looking for and we wish we found Watermill sooner. We did the gatsby dinner which is basically an extended cocktail hour. BEST DECISION EVER!! The stations were incredible, and our guests raved about not having to stop dancing for dinner. We also did “the works” which was amazing! An extra hour, a sea food boat, a Viennese dessert set up AND the cigar bar gave us upgrades we could only dream of. We are going to remember this night forever and we thank the Watermill for surpassing our expectations!!

We want to also send a special thanks to Rob our Salesman, who we originally met before covid, who worked with us on rescheduling many times due to the shutdown and through illnesses our families had experienced that prohibited us to coordinate the event the last 4 years. We then met with Nick once we got closer to solidify our menu choices and go through all other details, and anything and everything that we could've wanted was accommodated for. The day of our wedding was INCREDIBLE! Nick and his team truly made us feel like the most special people in the world. When we arrived for pictures, the staff made sure our family and bridal party were taken care for in the bridal suite and with food and drinks. They were with us throughout all our pictures and made sure we had everything we could've wanted. The service and food during cocktail hour and the reception were unbelievable. It was extra special for us to have an entire sampling of our cocktail hour put to the side for us to try since we were busy with guests during that time. There wasn't one point in the night where we didn't have drinks in our hand or weren't being cared for, and the same went for our families. Our guests are still raving about how amazing the food was - I can't wait to get invited to another Watermill wedding as a guest so we can enjoy everything all over again! We have nothing but amazing things to say and would recommend this venue to anyone. Having our wedding at the Watermill made it the most perfect day we could've imagined.

Our guests are still talking about the food we were told they have never seen this much food at a wedding. We were so lucky we got married outside. The outside venue is stunning. Nick was our maitre 'D and he is amazing. My sister had him as well and he is the best of the best. Make sure to request him because you are in the best hands with him at the Watermill. We had an issue with our florist and Nick and Dom (our captain ) were on ladders 30 minutes before the ceremony started fixing the chuppah we had. Bella was my bridal attendant and she was so attentive and amazing. I can't say one bad thing about this venue. It was the most magical day as corny as that sounds. It exceeded all of our expectations and more. Watermill hands down when looking for a wedding venue.

Nick our Maitre'd ensure that we did a quick procession rehearsal before the guests arrived. We had our ceremony outside and the set up was incredible. All of our guests were able to see us getting married with no visual barriers. The grounds were well maintained and full of flowers. We extended our cocktail hour by 30 minutes. The stations we selected were the bacon bar, Italian, taco and fajita, sushi and carving stations. Our guests raved about all of the food and could not get enough of it. Everything was fresh, hot and nothing ever ran out. The bar tenders were quick and made our signature cocktails perfectly. Our bridal attendant Christina was more than phenomenal. She assisted my wife with her dress, getting us drink and food refills and checked in on us throughout the day. Nick made sure everything ran smoothly and ensured our special requests were honored to the fullest extent. Our reception room was the Astor room. It was set up wonderfully and the servers were courteous to all of our guests. Dinners arrived in a timely manner and tasted great. Our cake was included with the vendor Dortoni and the cake was served with an assortment of Italian pastries coffee, tea and cappuccino. We used the donut wall as our exit station. They work with Duck Donuts and we asked them to add our personalized stickers on the to go boxes. They ensured all of our guests received one as they left. The next morning, we went back to Watermill and the staff packed up all of our decorations neatly and provided us with leftovers to take home as well as our cake top and an assortment of pastries. The staff at Watermill caterers are truly miracle workers and you will be in the best of hands if you choose to get married here.

was. But it all started with one phone call, I spoke with Brian, who is one of the nicest people ever. I told him that my finance and I were searching for a venue, but we were on a budget. He chuckled and said he completely understood and would love to meet us. So, we made an appointment to meet with him. At the moment that I was walking in, a bride was walking out and stopped me in my tracks to tell me how great her wedding was and how much I would love it if I had my wedding there. We continued with our appointment and was walked around by Brian through the beautiful cocktail hour room and then he showed us outside where people can get married. It was breath taking, the watermill, the gazebo, the grounds really are beautiful. Then we went back inside with Brian who showed us the menu options for the reception and the cocktail hour menu. He offered us a great deal and said, “now go on and think about it.” He truly treated us like family because he wanted us to decide together calmly, not just in the heat of the moment. Obviously, we said YES! We went through all the steps and planned our wedding with Brian who also got us our DJ. Who was fantastic as well! Amanda from in the mood DJ was such a sweetheart and so supportive of all of our wishes for our wedding. I couldn’t be more thankful for Brian introducing us, they worked together to make our special day one that we can remember for the rest of our lives. When our day came, we had Bella as a bridal attendant and Sean as a Matre’d. Bella met me at the door of the watermill to take me into my room. She was so sweet, she literally became my best friend that day, she walked us around all day before and after the ceremony. And Sean was probably the most “on point” person I’ve ever met. Sean has worked at the watermill for 26 years and literally could run my wedding in his sleep. He was beyond professional and gave our wedding his full attention all day. He even made it his job to make sure our parents had everything they needed the entire night. He was so sweet and made us feel like we had nothing to worry about all day. He made sure my finance was calm and ready to get his wife before the ceremony and truly became our friend in no time. I could keep going, but lastly, as a professional chef, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how amazing the food was. Every family member we spoke to couldn’t stop bragging about how great cocktail hour was. I even told Brian, “Aren’t 9 menu items a lot for a reception menu” and he said, “trust me”. That’s all we needed to hear. We trusted each other and couldn’t be happier. Every menu item was cooked excellently. We loved it. Today, Thursday, I had to go and get everything that we dropped off for the wedding; Brian met us at the door with Sean and gave us a big hug and hello and helped us fill up our car and continued to thank us and tell us how much they loved working with us. So, this is my thank you to them. Brian, Sean, Bella, all the staff at the Watermill and In the Mood DJ; thank you for our day a day that exceeded our expectations and dreams of what our wedding could have been! We love you all!

In May, while my now husband was on his bachelor trip I stopped into the Watermill unannounced to book the bourbon bar for cocktail hour- which would be a surprise to my husband on the day of. I was greeted right away by Rob and worked with him for that station, the wraps for the cigars and then the final details with my wedding. My parents also went down unannounced to see the floor plan, Rob was there and helped them with what the room would look like, where they would be sitting, where the photo booth would go, etc. Rob was extremely professional from the moment I met him, he was kind, patient and you could see the passion he had for his job. I truly felt like I was his family member. The day of our wedding Rob told my husband, our parents and myself that he will be attending another wedding that he was a guest at, can you believe that he stayed later at work to say hello and congratulations to us?! We were completely blown away! We also made a special request for Nick and Christina who are the definition of the "Dynamic Duo". There was NEVER a moment our drinks were empty, my dress got bustled right when I needed it to be, my vail was taken out without destroying my updo (I had my hair up in a bun), they brought us cocktail hour food so we had a chance to breathe, they were such a huge help and made everything perfect. When you book with The Watermill it is so much more than a wedding venue, it's a whole experience that I wish we could re-do all over again. If there were any problems that night, we have no idea because he handled them with grace and without worrying us. The cocktail hour, dinner, drinks, decor, gardens, atmosphere and environment were so perfect. I really have nothing bad to say. The captain, bridal attendant (Jessica), wait staff, valet, bartenders, and everyone in between were truly incredible. We had the time of our lives Thanks to the incredible staff at the Watermill!! I would have our wedding at the Watermill 10x over if I could!

The attendants were phenomenal in how they kept checking on us and offering us anything and everything. We stayed very on schedule and it was all thanks to them. And the food…. So many people left saying they could not believe how much food there was and how TASTY it was. I tried to explain to people that the cocktail hour is no joke! It was so warm and welcoming. Everyone had a blast and once again we could NOT have imagined a more perfect day nor anywhere else but the Watermill with these wonderful people and beautiful atmosphere. A huge thank you to all of them and I will gladly be referring anyone I know looking to get married and needing a venue. There’s no one else like them.

We were assigned The A-Team!!! Erika, Rich, and Vladimir were absolute rockstars. They were always there making sure things were moving the way they should and always making sure that my husband and I had everything we needed. We worked with Robert from the beginning and he made the decision of booking with the Watermill an easy one. Our guests are still raving about our wedding, from the food to the music to the atmosphere. If only we could relive this day over and over 🥰

The outside bar was open once our guests started coming in and they all were happy to be in the space. Cocktail Hour: We heard nothing but great things about our cocktail hour (unfortunately because of how busy it was, we were not able to enjoy the cocktail hour). The Bacon Bar and Sushi Station was a hit! Our guests apparently demolished the sushi station (it was a little disappointing that the station wasn’t refilled so all the guests could enjoy sushi though). Reception: Food was wonderful and whatever my husband I did not finish, we received all the food the following day to take home. We heard good things about the bartenders as well from our guests. For our exit station, we had White Castle and it was a hit, everyone loved it especially since a few of them had too much to drink. Service, etc: Based off what we saw and heard the service was wonderful and they took care of everything. The staff moved our stuff like the guest book around appropriately. Bella: ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! My mom asked her for several things throughout the night and she delivered with a smile on her face. My mom wanted to take her home with us lol! I was also having trouble with my train and she was able to bustle the dress even more where I was able to do my choreographed first dance, a concern I had had for months. Had I known I was going to have Bella, I wouldn’t have stressed about it as much as I did. Cons: Maitre D: There were times when we felt that Nick wasn’t fully committed to our needs. For example, when my husband and I wanted to practice our first dance (this was discussed before the wedding day and was agreed upon) before the reception during cocktail hour, he seemed bothered by it. He never was explicitly rude to us, but he didn’t seem enthusiastic to be part of our day. Overall he did a good job and the day went smoothly, but it felt like we were asking for too much. Cocktail Hour: Again we wish that the food was consistently replenished so all of our guests were able to enjoy all the stations.
