Also, I connected with Tiffany and she was straight forward, honest and answered every question to the best of her ability. I knew when I saw the photos and read the details that this was the venue for us and our destination wedding! The price for our rehearsal lunch was perfect and exactly what we needed. We got ready, had our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all at WaterVue. It was perfect for our 61 guests (63 including us). Tiffany is wonderful at her craft and we recommend using several of WaterVue’s preferred vendors like; VIBE Catering & Emerald Coast Entertainment. Our guests loved taking photos on the wrap around porch, there was enough space for our ceremony and then to transition to our cocktail hour and reception seamlessly. Highly recommend getting the day of wedding coordinator through WaterVue (they know their stuff). Also, the decor package and backdrop were worth every cent! We were traveling from Missouri and didn’t have to bring a lot of things because we paid for the extensions. Our wedding guests are still talking about how beautiful WaterVue was, our ceremony set up and the convenience of everything there. Zero regrets and we are so happy we chose WaterVue!

oyed themselves. HOWEVER, working with Kelly, our event planner through A Rogue Idea, who Emerald Coast Vibes paired us with, was a huge disappointment. We selected the package that had our planner step in 6 months from our wedding date and was supposed to provide monthly updates. Come 6 months to our date, we did not hear from Kelly unless we reached out and when we did we felt like a bother. So we reached out to Tiffany, who is with WaterVue/Emerald Coast Vibe and learned that she was great at telling us what we wanted to hear but came short on a few things when it came to her word. We set up a meeting with both Tiffany and Kelly two weeks prior to the wedding during which Kelly was very adamant in making sure we knew we did not purchase the full wedding planner package. We were very aware of that. But as well, we were aware we did not purchase the day of package either. We truly felt Kelly could care less about our wedding. When it came to vendors, Kelly never asked us for details as to what we wanted or what she needed to get to the vendors she was working with. It took me initiating emails asking if she wanted me to send information on what I wanted. Needless to say, several things I had wanted did not happen. ⁃ My bouquet looked nothing like how I wanted. It was supposed to be our center piece to our sweetheart table, so I wanted a larger bouquet. Unfortunately, I couldn’t tell the difference between my maid of honor’s bouquet or mine. Our sweetheart table looked sad with a small bouquet in the center. The cake flowers looked nothing like I requested. Also, the flowers placed on the arbor were not as I requested either. Mind you, I sent photos of exactly what I wanted for flowers. No questions were asked to ever make sure they knew what I wanted or to verify. ⁃ We had requested that the song the wedding party walked down to be changed to a slower version to prevent a faster pace walk. The outcome was that it looked like everyone raced down the isle. ⁃ We took dance lessons for our first dance with a beautiful ending planned. So, we requested the DJ play our full song. A questionnaire was sent prior to the wedding and this was requested on there as well. We also made sure multiple times Tiffany and Kelly were aware. However, our first dance song was cut off just before the end. We paid for our wedding on our own from savings, which was a big expense for us. Although everything ran smooth and our guests didn’t notice any of the downfalls, we experienced, we had hoped that with how much we spent, we would have gotten what we asked for. Although the venue itself was beautiful, if we could do it all over again, we would have spent more time looking at other venues that provide wedding planning services as promised. If you want this venue, I would highly recommend looking for a different wedding coordinator, unless you want to plan everything yourself.

I was planning the wedding long-distance and made it clear to Tiffany that I was not going to be able to be hung up on every detail (what with a busy work life)— we had a couple calls, she understood me and what I wanted out of the wedding, and made it a DREAM!!! Seriously could not be more thankful for such a beautiful venue and incredible wedding planner.
