cess fun and easy! The food and drinks were great and we can't wait to go back to celebrate our anniversaries.
Waterworks Food + Drink was the perfect place to host the rehearsal dinner for our son’s wedding. Our event was held on July 4, 2024, in the private River House which is a beautif...
ul venue overlooking the Winooski River. My husband and I had the challenge of planning this special event from Virginia and Ben was the ultimate planning partner. He was experienced and considerate and helped us develop a cohesive plan for the rehearsal dinner. Ben also offered suggestions along the way and helped us improve on our ideas. Attentive to food allergies, Ben helped us make menu choices which allowed ample food options for all of our guests. The execution of the rehearsal dinner was excellent. The food was delicious, and the service was extraordinary. Our guests raved about the beauty of the space as well as the wonderful food and drinks. We even saw the owner get personally involved during the event, which was a nice touch. Although there was an issue in the kitchen with one of our side dishes, it was handled in a timely manner and our celebration continued according to plan. We highly recommend Waterworks Food + Drink for any special event or even an informal dinner out with friends or family.
My husband and I recently hosted our wedding at Waterworks for about 70 people, specifically in the River House room. It was everything we imagined and stress-free.

er House room is a hidden gem - but it will definitely rise in popularity quickly!. It has great natural lighting and is filled with many house plants so it is stunning before anything is added. There are so many great places outside the venue as well for your photography team as well.
Exceptional Service: Ben, our event coordinator, was amazing and made the planning process a breeze! From start to finish, Ben was attentive, organized, and incredibly helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner in creating our special day.
Delicious Food: Guests raved about the food all night long. We served hot & cold passed apps that were a huge hit! A plated dinner service with assigned seats - the staff was excellent and made sure to confirm everyone's meal choice before serving. And the cheesecake dessert... no words. No one left hungry, that’s for sure.
Attentive Staff: The Waterworks team went above and beyond. They checked in with us, the wedding party, and even our guests. Whether it was a plate of apps or a refreshing drink, they made sure we had everything we needed.
Do not sleep on Waterworks for your wedding day!
Waterworks hosted our wedding and could not have done a better job. They were amazing through planning the whole process and on the night of executed everything perfectly and more....

use which was perfect for our 30-40 guest size, AND the events mgr Kristen not only made herself very available in the weeks leading up, but the day of, gave of her time to allow earlier access for us to set up before the evening start. Food and service staff were top notch (we shouldve tripled up on the apps, but who knew our peeps were so hungry for 'tizers) River House is the way to go, Spotify friendly, big screen TV for visual adds, and beautiful view of the River) lastly the assigned bartender was so cool/friendly and fast - we went about an hour longer than the original 3 hr contract but very happy to pay for the extended time and open bar - John & I were so very happy with the whole experience - Thanks Waterworks & Kristen!!

erfect event space in a gorgeous setting right above the Winooski River.
We locked in the date, and began to work with Ben Mervis on a schedule of meetings/face time and face to face. Ben guided us through the timeline and was incredibly helpful and responsive to our many, many questions. Through our various meetings, and emails, Ben helped us make each of the decisions around a menu, beverages, table configuration, gave us music vendor suggestions and many more. Waterworks worked seamlessly with our florist who delivered and set up flowers that same day, as well as with the cake delivery and the photographer.
Ben is an experienced, talented and responsive Event Manager and possesses a unique ability to be creative and practical at the same time. Everything we planned on or asked for was possible.
The wedding was just the past weekend and we are still glowing about how well everything went. We had a cocktail hour and then a sit down dinner. The food was both delicious and beautiful to look at. The wait staff were both attentive and professional without being overly formal. Our family and friends had a wonderful time and we would highly recommend Waterworks for your family's Celebration.

g. We were able to have our ceremony along the Winooski River which made for amazing photos.
The staff was incredible. Ben went above and beyond to make the day run smoothly and create the perfect setting for all of our guests. We had multiple people comment on the food and drink being amongst the best they'd had at a wedding. I couldn't recommend Waterworks enough as a place that really brings it all for a wedding (great vibes, great food and drink, great staff).

s in the River House event space, where the combination of exposed brick and beautiful natural light lent an elegance to the whole event that we really loved. The food was INCREDIBLE as well- we were thrilled, as were our guests. This set the stage for a fantastic wedding - and then the staff at Waterworks just put it over the top. Lindsay was a tremendous event planner for us. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from start to finish. We couldn’t have made this happen without her, and she made our vision come true. She worked so hard and was such a lovely person - we were so lucky! Sarah was also extremely helpful for our event. David, the owner, was so accommodating, thoughtful and kind, and really made us feel special and at home. James, who supported my husband and I throughout our whole wedding day was incredible and truly the sweetest person. Lucia also made sure that we always had everything we needed. There were so many wonderful staff throughout the wedding day, too - all of our guests commented on how helpful, kind, and attentive everyone from Waterworks was. And they had the best time - everyone said it was the best wedding ever! Literally everyone we worked with was great!! They still make us feel special whenever we go back for dinner. I cannot imagine a more perfect wedding, and highly recommend this venue, you won’t be disappointed. Book it now! 10 out of 10 and more. Thank you Waterworks!!

e both very helpful. My husband and I are both pretty type-A and had a LOT of requests, and the Waterworks staff happily helped with everything! We found it to be the perfect balance of having everything you need for a reception built in, while still having the flexibility to really make it your own. The chef was amazing and went out of his way with tastings to make sure we were happy with our choices. The space is stunning and our guests were raving about the food, the cocktails/beer list, the music (thank you DJ Craig!), and the ambiance. The new heated patio is an excellent addition and the location is just minutes from Burlington so very convenient. We couldn't have asked for a better day! THANK YOU!!!
