nside, with the band/dancing on the outdoor covered patio afterwards. We were lucky to have great weather for the wedding day, as well as a helpful staff member in Rick. We worked with a wedding planner who was able to get everything just right. One thing I will say - the venue (unsure who exactly) threw away some very expensive scented reed diffusers that we brought to the venue, and they did not warn us or give them back. Just threw them away. Would have been nice if they explicitly prohibited any reed diffusers/scent use in the contract, but they did not, and also would have been nice if they asked us to remove them instead of throwing them away, but they did not. Otherwise, the event space is incredibly beautiful, the right size for our event, and a fun way to incorporate both indoor and outdoor for a fall wedding. My planner was integral to getting the venue set-up just right, but the venue also speaks for itself in our photos.

She did a great job coordinating with our other vendors and providing suggestions on how to best use the different features of the space available at the mansion. The front entrance made a wonderful backdrop for our ceremony and the exterior and interior both provide great options for photos. After our ceremony, our guests explored the museum while we took some additional photos.
All in all- a great experience. We would highly recommend!
