The Watson-Curtze Mansion is simply the most elegant and elevated wedding venue in Erie, northwest Pennsylvania. We invite you to take a tour if you are looking for a truly unique venue that will wow your guests and create lasting memories. The mansion offers a nice balance of both indoor and outdoor space in true old-world splendor. With 15,000 square feet and 24 one-of-a-kind rooms, plenty of space is onsite for your wedding celebration. You'll find 12 fireplaces, a solarium, and a magnificent ballroom inside the mansion. Outside areas include a tented patio and a manicured garden. This beautiful venue can accommodate up to 120 guests indoors and 350 outdoors, making it a versatile setting perfect for both intimate celebrations and grand soirees. We proudly offer our mansion at an extremely affordable rate that will fit nearly every budget. We look forward to showing it to you in person!

The Watson- Curtze Mansion was the perfect venue for our wedding! It is decorated beautifully, and allows space for all guests to feel included! The Mansion also is an indoor/ outdoor venue, which is perfect for the unpredictable Erie Weather! Shelby is by far the easiest person to work with! She communicated with us throughout the whole wedding planning experience, which was the most helpful thing! We would get married here all over again!

As a pro photographer and historical nerd, I can't say enough good about this beautiful place. It's special and has a romantic feeling about it. The pictures I take here are legendary . From staff, to those who execute the events, this is a highly recommend place to have a beautiful and rememberable Erie wedding. If it gets any better than this, I'm not entirely sure.

We held our wedding at Watson-Curtze in September 2020 and it was even more perfect than we had hoped for. Just a beautiful venue, gorgeous inside and out and with plenty of space outdoors if there happens to be a pandemic going on while you're getting married. Shelby was completely amazing every step of the way, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Watson-Curtze was such a beautiful setting for my daughter’s wedding! We were going for “elegant” and that’s exactly what we got! Shelby was absolutely wonderful through the whole process! She was helpful, professional, and oh, so patient with the ever changing wedding plans due to coronavirus. She was there before, during, and after the event to help in any way possible!

The Watson-Curtze Mansion is a fantastic wedding venue full of history and beauty. We loved working with Shelby and appreciated her flexibility and willingness to help coordinate wedding details leading up to and on our big day. She did a great job coordinating with our other vendors and providing suggestions on how to best use the different features of the space available at the mansion. The front entrance made a wonderful backdrop for our ceremony and the exterior and interior both provide great options for photos. After our ceremony, our guests explored the museum while we took some additional photos. All in all- a great experience. We would highly recommend!
