This beautiful golf course was constructed in 1895, making it the oldest course in the state of New Hampshire. On every hole, golfers are treated to panoramic views of the Presidential Mountain Range, an iconic section of the White Mountains. In addition to great golfing, Waumbek is home to Fenn's Way Restaurant. Before you celebrate your wedding day, you can bring up to 65 guests to Fenn's Way for an intimate rehearsal dinner with full bar services and tailored menus.
On your special day, exchange vows with the majestic mountains as your one-of-a-kind ceremony backdrop. Then, while you pose for a romantic photoshoot with your beloved, guests can enjoy chats over cocktails. For your reception, Waumbek Golf Course provides elegant tenting options, so you can dine and dance under the stars. Course was in amazing shape, one of the more challenging courses I’ve played, primarily due to how firm the greens were, very challenging to stop the ball but it’s challenging in a good way. Great views all around, clubhouse is immaculate. I wi...
ll say, the one minor improvement I would make is adding water stations throughout the course, the full 18 must be played to get back to the clubhouse so there is no stop at the turn to get food or a drink. That said, at the very least a couple water stations throughout 18 would be useful. In hindsight I should have brought more on arrival, but figured there would be places to refill as there are at most courses. No cart girl to my knowledge but the tee time was 7:40am so may be just due to timing. overall awesome place.

tired, and very hot. We left feeling like valued customers after at this perfectly restful spot and a delicious late lunch. Although the kitchen was closed when we arrived, Emily, our bartender and server, arranged for warm appetizer options that were delicious. Graham, the golf pro also welcomed us, and my husband is already planning to return for a golf day. The setting is absolutely stunning, the mountain views exceptional. The restaurant and restrooms were spotless, the decor perfect! It was the kindness that Emily extended to us that we will remember most of all.
