This beautiful golf course was constructed in 1895, making it the oldest course in the state of New Hampshire. On every hole, golfers are treated to panoramic views of the Presidential Mountain Range, an iconic section of the White Mountains. In addition to great golfing, Waumbek is home to Fenn's Way Restaurant. Before you celebrate your wedding day, you can bring up to 65 guests to Fenn's Way for an intimate rehearsal dinner with full bar services and tailored menus.
On your special day, exchange vows with the majestic mountains as your one-of-a-kind ceremony backdrop. Then, while you pose for a romantic photoshoot with your beloved, guests can enjoy chats over cocktails. itions in a few places, but miles better than years past. The course plays a bit on the shorter side at only 6,000 from the tips and with many downhill holes or otherwise short par 4s. Offsetting the length, there is 2-3 foot tall fescue along almost all holes so shot placement is at more of a premium than hitting a bomb, as you will not track down a ball hit into the deep rough. The greens were playing quite fast opening weekend with a handful of pins that were tough to putt to without the ball coming all the way back to your feet but were otherwise in good shape and rolling nicely. Overall am very excited by what they’ve done to the place and look forward to playing it more in the future.

Great experience at opening day 2024. New ownership has put a lot of effort into improving this historic golf course. The views of the Presidential Range are unmatched. The new clubhouse is well really executed.

he length of the course (it is on the short side), but the challenge comes with getting your approach shots to stay on the green and trying to hole out. The course really exposes any short comings in that part of your game.
Finishing touches are ongoing, so I expect the experience will only get better with time. Do not put weight into any reviews before this year....this is a completely different course and golf experience. Well done.

Great customer service, everyone is so friendly and working to ensure you have the best experience. The course is in great shape and you get beautiful views. Add in a top notch restaurant for lunch after your round; good food with good service!...

The course is unforgiving in a nice challenging way. The views are beyond any other views you'll get golfing in the area. There is also no better way to finish a round then sit on the deck and enjoy a meal while watching people struggle on hole...

Gorgeous course. Beautiful views. Deer flies a little thick but not the courses fault. Worth golfing and make sure you have lunch at Fenn’s Way after!! ♥️
