The Wausau Club-Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art is an elegant and desirable wedding venue in Wausau, WI. Wausau Club-Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art underwent renovations in 2017 to further enhance the wedding day experience. The second floor's ballroom, lounge, and bar, with their 1900s Brunswick-style decor, will take you and your guests back in time. Comfortable leather chairs will allow your loved ones to relax in style, while the dramatic fireplace in the ballroom ensures a cozy atmosphere all year round. Your favorite band will take to a stage flanked by lush velvet curtains while magnificent turn-of-the-century crystal chandeliers illuminate the dance floor in front. As for the size and scale of the ceremony and reception, the venue accommodates 330 guests standing and 265 people seated. Additionally, the museum can welcome intimate and lavish wedding parties of up to 211.

The portrait exhibit was better than I expected. Some fabulous work. This is a small museum, less than 30 minutes needed but well worth the stop.

Drove over three hours to see Jennifer Balkan’s show. Website online said it would be open, phone recorded message of Museum said it would be open, Google said it would be open, Museum was not open. We retuned three times after it was supposed ...
to open to locked doors. My husband and I were not only disappointed I have to admit we were upset.
