Wave Street Studios is a wonderful place. I am Rhett Smith's Son Foster Smith, so I may be a bit biased on my review. My dad has worked so hard for two decades in order to bring W...
ave Street Studious to the place it is in now. I have cherished my time learning how to garden and gain countless skills at the studio. Being on the bike path the area has a very unique energy and gives me peace when I am there. It is easy to lose track of the business of life when relaxing on the heated bench while birds come to visit and sing. I love my dad and I'm very proud of him for all the joy he has been able to share at Wave Street studios.
I've never had a worse experience. Please do not give your hard earned money to Rhett Smith who ownes and operates Wave Street Studios. He is a crooked individual who doesn't honor...
his own contract. I had to cancel my wedding reception last December and he refused to give me the refund I was entitled to per his own contract. I finally had to go to small claims court and won a judgement against him. Yet he still refuses to pay me the $2,600 he owes me! My next course of action is to return to court to get the court to seize his assets to pay the debt he is refusing to pay. Not the sort of business I would ever consider recommending!
Wave Street Studio was able to make my daughter's wedding reception a wonderfully magical day! We had the best time and Wave Street was so beautiful! We will never forget all that ...
they were able to do for us on wedding day. When we outgrew the venue they were still able to accommodate all of us comfortably! This venue is top notch and we could not have asked for anything better! I highly recommend Wave Street if you are looking for a naturally beautiful venue! Rhett and his staff were the bet!
We could not have found a better venue for the price and a more easy group of people to work with! Rhett was easy going and very accommodating since the first day we met him.

venue itself is beautiful and well set up to host an event. The open doors makes it easy to adjust the seating arrangement and not make it seem as if those outside on the patio have been isolated. Not to mention the location is so idea - right off the bike path and super close to everything in Cannery Row.
As a complete DIY bride, I loved the glass bar that we were able to decorate to help pull all the decor together.
In addition to being easy to work with, Wave Street Studios will also help you find a DJ and event rentals, as well as other vendors if needed. It's almost as if you're getting a little bit of wedding planning help at no extra cost! And trust me, this venue is definitely affordable compared to several other venues in the area.
We had several guests comment on how our wedding was the best wedding they'd ever been to, and the DJ commented on how long we kept the party going.
I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is considering it!
Wave Street Studios was host to my reception. It's an amazing space. By day it serves as a television studio and by night a fabulous event venue. The space was designed and built b...
y owner Rhett Smith and is made almost entirely of recycled materials from the surrounding areas. It has to many great features to list, and the website photos don't do it justice. The staff is super helpful and really care about helping you have a successful event. If you are looking for a unique venue that your guests will talk about for years, go check see this one in person. LOVED IT!
This venue is really beautiful, and Rhett was very open to figuring out what we wanted (which was a little unusual) and going for it completely. The attached bungalow is very spaci...
ous and comfortable, and a stone's throw from the beach.
