I love DJ Ryan's personality, he is genuine, fun, and can read the dancefloor---he added some timely announcements here and there and has a good sense of humor without being corny. I kept getting compliments all evening about the evening's playlist, and we had a tough crowd to please. He made sure all of our non-negotiables were met and threw in some cool tunes too. s everything I could have dreamed of. I have literally never been to a wedding with a DJ as good as Ryan. Other DJs I looked at that I thought would be similar quality were asking for $1k-$2k more than Waveform. Additionally, many other DJs I met with charged a ton for different add-ons. The dance floor was packed the whole night everyone from my 5 year old ring bearer to my 70 something mother-in-law was having a great time. He also did a great job of emceeing. Ryan is professional, kind, and theatrical in a good way. He knows when to step into the light and when to step out. He also incorporated our favorite songs that were not dance-y into other parts of the evening. I cannot recommend them enough!

We are the type to make a very specific playlist for every occasion, so while we had a very specific vision and requests for the different parts of our wedding day, we also wanted to hand it off to a professional who could read the crowd and keep the energy going. And wow did Waveform and DJ Amanda deliver! Our dance floor was lit from start to finish and we got so many compliments on the music. Both my husband and I had anxiety dreams leading up to the wedding about no one dancing, and that never would have happened under DJ Amanda’s watch! She followed all of our many instructions to a T while reading the vibe and keeping the party going all night long, from guest arrivals to the final dance set of the night. Would highly recommend to anyone!

reception. There was even a cool platform where we were able to indicate genres we liked, which we didn’t and then also indicated do not play and must play songs. We had a modestly sized 70 person wedding and even though we didn’t have all that many dancers on the floor at any one time he did a wonderful job of reading the room and even taught the kids how to do “Thriller” which was absolutely the cutest thing ever! On top of all that we was a wonderful and fun MC. He made sure to make all the announcements we requested while also keeping the reception upbeat and moving. One amazing idea he had was for us to visit and take a photo with each guest table fitting it into the length of one song. It helped make sure we didn’t miss out on the dinner and yet no one felt like they “missed out” on being able to have a moment with us personally. Overall Ryan was extremely professional and we honestly couldn’t as for a better more fun DJ!

Martin was EXTREMELY accommodating to me (the bride) but also my mom- not easy to do. I even asked them to mix 2 songs together for the father daughter dance (one English, one farci) & it was exactly how I wanted it. Martin kept eye contact with me throughout the night to make sure I was enjoying the music. Lastly, the lighting was exquisite, soft transition, & really leveled up the reception space. They are professional, diverse, patient, respectful, on time, & are true artists. I’m telling you, as someone who reads over 20 reviews before I buy anything, this is the company to go with. 2020 due to the pandemic, Waveform Events generously gave us until October 2022 to use their services. Our original DJ, Martin, was able to come out to our home in Oceanside, CA, this May for our backyard event. He was incredibly professional and kind--and showed up two hours ahead of the party to set up his equipment to make sure everything went smoothly. Our guests loved the music and how responsive Martin is to requests. He played everything on our personal requests lists and gracefully avoided playing anything on our do-not-play list as well. Throughout the past two years, Martin has always been very responsive to all emails and requests and was truly a delight to work with. We would highly recommend Martin and Waveform Events and are already trying to think of future events we could plan just as an excuse to hire them again!

From our initial meeting, Martin really took care of us. We coordinated to have Ryan to be our DJ for a wedding. The online system they have to help you pick songs were so professional, and we met ahead of time in order to really nail down the music for the event. Ryan really helped us with a few choices when we were stuck and knew exactly what we were looking for. During the day of, Ryan kept the crowd going and the flow of music was so natural.
