I cannot recommend Waveform highly enough. Our DJ Ryan was phenomenal. We told him we wanted the wedding basics but also we love lesbian pop. He fully came through. The lighting was everything I could have dreamed of. I have literally never been to a wedding with a DJ as good as Ryan. Other DJs I looked at that I thought would be similar quality were asking for $1k-$2k more than Waveform. Additionally, many other DJs I met with charged a ton for different add-ons. The dance floor was packed the whole night everyone from my 5 year old ring bearer to my 70 something mother-in-law was having a great time. He also did a great job of emceeing. Ryan is professional, kind, and theatrical in a good way. He knows when to step into the light and when to step out. He also incorporated our favorite songs that were not dance-y into other parts of the evening. I cannot recommend them enough!

My husband and I found Waveform Events through our planner and hired DJ Amanda to provide DJ services for our wedding in downtown LA in September. The music was one of the elements of the day we both cared the most about. We are the type to make a very specific playlist for every occasion, so while we had a very specific vision and requests for the different parts of our wedding day, we also wanted to hand it off to a professional who could read the crowd and keep the energy going. And wow did Waveform and DJ Amanda deliver! Our dance floor was lit from start to finish and we got so many compliments on the music. Both my husband and I had anxiety dreams leading up to the wedding about no one dancing, and that never would have happened under DJ Amanda’s watch! She followed all of our many instructions to a T while reading the vibe and keeping the party going all night long, from guest arrivals to the final dance set of the night. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Ryan Moore was our DJ at our wedding on July 20th. He was incredible! He completely read the crowd and knew when and where to throw certain kinds of music in. I highly recommend this company as they are always professional and really know how to make people get up and onto the dance floor!

He was super organized, logistically and operationally prepared, and definitely easy to talk to. I knew after our first call that I wouldn't have to worry about anything operationally or the quality of the service I was going to receive. Michael was the DJ for our wedding and did a fantastic job. Coordinating with Waveform events beforehand was super easy and smooth. On our wedding day, Mike was very helpful in making sure everything stayed on track, introducing our speech givers, telling us where to be when and of course DJing an amazing dance party! Waveform made our weekend magical. DJ Martin got everyone dancing, especially during the silent disco, which Waveform facilitated seamlessly as a transition from the band when the county sound ordinance required us to shut off amplified sound. Waveform created a beautiful ambiance with lighting, disco balls, and a gorgeous dance floor, and also helped us set up an outdoor movie night. We loved working with them.

We hired DJ Ryan for our wedding and if I were describe his work in one sentence, I’d say: he understood the assignment. DJ Ryan was our best hype man without being too much, he played the songs we loved and wanted to hear, and was able to adjust and feed off of the energy of our wedding guests to keep people on the dance floor. We had a mix of older guests and younger guests and it was the perfect blend of classic hits and current bops. Everyone had a blast. He also was a great MC and kept things moving. Would definitely recommend Ryan and Waveform events. They were easy to work with, professional and reliable.

DJ Ryan Moore at Waveform Events was absolutely stellar! Throughout the planning process he was constant communication and walked us through how to think about our timeline for the reception. There was even a cool platform where we were able to indicate genres we liked, which we didn’t and then also indicated do not play and must play songs. We had a modestly sized 70 person wedding and even though we didn’t have all that many dancers on the floor at any one time he did a wonderful job of reading the room and even taught the kids how to do “Thriller” which was absolutely the cutest thing ever! On top of all that we was a wonderful and fun MC. He made sure to make all the announcements we requested while also keeping the reception upbeat and moving. One amazing idea he had was for us to visit and take a photo with each guest table fitting it into the length of one song. It helped make sure we didn’t miss out on the dinner and yet no one felt like they “missed out” on being able to have a moment with us personally. Overall Ryan was extremely professional and we honestly couldn’t as for a better more fun DJ!

I had never been to a wedding before and we got married on our 10 year anniversary so there was a lot of emotions going into this special day. From the moment we booked them, they went above and beyond to take care of us for both our DJ and decorating needs. It was so nice to have the two combined because it was one less thing to worry about and we didn’t spend a moment worrying about anything waveform did. Our DJ Ryan was a consummate professional and very entertaining. He was great with communication and easy to chat with. Their website was very use to use to build a music request list and Ryan always made himself available if I got stuck or had questions. The big day was a blast!

PICK THEM PICK THEM! Martin & his team were wonderful. We had a Persian and American wedding so we wanted a mix of music that was in farci & English but current. It was amazing that just by giving them a few Persian songs & only 2 American artists, they were able to understand the vibe & played all perfect songs- no exaggeration. The timing of everything was amazing. Martin was EXTREMELY accommodating to me (the bride) but also my mom- not easy to do. I even asked them to mix 2 songs together for the father daughter dance (one English, one farci) & it was exactly how I wanted it. Martin kept eye contact with me throughout the night to make sure I was enjoying the music. Lastly, the lighting was exquisite, soft transition, & really leveled up the reception space. They are professional, diverse, patient, respectful, on time, & are true artists. I’m telling you, as someone who reads over 20 reviews before I buy anything, this is the company to go with. Stop searching.

Honestly could not have asked for a better team from Waveform! Ryan was incredible and kept the party going all night, he made sure everything flowed smoothly from ceremony to speeches to any specific songs we (the newly weds) requested. 10/10 would recommend!

Waveform Events was absolutely wonderful to work with. We originally booked them for our backyard wedding reception in Redlands, CA for May 2020; after having to postpone twice in 2020 due to the pandemic, Waveform Events generously gave us until October 2022 to use their services. Our original DJ, Martin, was able to come out to our home in Oceanside, CA, this May for our backyard event. He was incredibly professional and kind--and showed up two hours ahead of the party to set up his equipment to make sure everything went smoothly. Our guests loved the music and how responsive Martin is to requests. He played everything on our personal requests lists and gracefully avoided playing anything on our do-not-play list as well. Throughout the past two years, Martin has always been very responsive to all emails and requests and was truly a delight to work with. We would highly recommend Martin and Waveform Events and are already trying to think of future events we could plan just as an excuse to hire them again!

From our initial meeting, Martin really took care of us. We coordinated to have Ryan to be our DJ for a wedding. The online system they have to help you pick songs were so professional, and we met ahead of time in order to really nail down the music for the event. Ryan really helped us with a few choices when we were stuck and knew exactly what we were looking for. During the day of, Ryan kept the crowd going and the flow of music was so natural. We hired Martín for our wedding in May 2016. He did a fantastic job at our wedding, he had everybody on the dance floor all night long, including my Father in Law who never dances. We honestly weren’t expecting much from our DJ as we had a small wedding party and most of them were on the shy side. Ryan exceeded our expectations in every way! He was able to amp everyone up (literally almost everyone got on the dance floor)! He did a really fun centerpiece game and made everyone laugh. My husband and I had our wedding in the middle of the pandemic by doing a drive-in movie styled event. We exchanged vows on stage while everyone stayed in their cars listening to the audio through their car radios. Afterwards we watched a movie on the screens just like a drive-in theater. I could not have pulled this off without the professionals from Waveform Events who perfectly synced up microphones, car radios, movie screens and the actual movie- all while staying safe during pandemic protocols. I was in need of an amazing DJ for my backyard wedding and was having a hard time because it was during the pandemic. So I reached out on Facebook and was referred to Waveform by several other women so I reached out. Martin was so amazing to talk with. He took down everything I was in need of and was able to connect us with Josh because Martin had a previously scheduled wedding to DJ the same day. Josh came to our home and brought us a nice bottle of wine. We were amazed at The level of his customer service! He was so professional too! We enjoyed chatting with him while he got to know us and learned what we wanted for our wedding. He even helped us come up with some song ideas. The day of the wedding arrived and we were surprised with not only Josh but Martin too! We were so happy to have both of them there for our special day! I was a wedding planner for a decade and knew Martin through years of work before moving about 7 hours away it into the middle of nowhere in the mountains. When I got married in August, we had a hard time securing a good DJ in the area. Martin was willing to come all this way just to DJ our wedding in Mammoth. Almost a year later and people still constantly talk about what an amazing DJ he was. This isn't just for my wedding though, because I can additionally vouch for years and years beforehand. If you want a true pro, this is definitely your guy. Even though the air conditioning broke in our reception and it was hot as hell, he had everybody dancing until we closed it down and went on to the after party.

It can be nerve-wracking trying to find vendors for a lesbian wedding, but as soon as we walked into the office Martín felt like an old friend. After discussing Disney, Star Trek, Star Wars and of course wedding music, we knew we had come to the right place. Martín was the perfect addition to our nerdy wedding, he even led us in a Thriller group dance. We love Waveform and Martín!

Martin DJ'd our wedding at the Disneyland Hotel 3 years ago. He was amazing!!! I gave very little direction because I really wasn't sure what I wanted but he somehow nailed the entire event. He played great music and was very engaged with us and the guests. If I ever needed another DJ, I would definitely hire Martin again in a heartbeat.

We are so thankful for Waveforms help creating the perfect music and lighting atmosphere for our wedding. We used them for both the outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Martin went above and beyond to accommodate us. Music is VERY important to us and we had our own playlist of songs we wanted at our wedding. Some of our songs are unique and hard to find. Our genres varied big time, (oldies, french pop and rock, industrial, indie, alternative, funk, halloween-themed, film soundtracks, etc.) Martin very thoughtfully and respectfully worked with us to find and balance our requests and in the end were so grateful for his advice and hard work. We, and our guests loved Erik, our day of dj. He was fun, read the crowd flawlessly, took requests and made announcements for us. Martin was there at the beginning as well to ensure our satisfaction. We had decided last minute to add uplighting, which they effortlessly accommodated and it came out beautiful. We researched and spoke with at least a dozen different event djs companies. Waveform really stood out and was undeniably the best choice. Their prices were great, the djs skilled and professional and they have great in house add on options.
