had heard they were good but omgosh, they were amazing! Got compliments from all of our guests on the energy the band brought. They also all commented on how ALL the band members not only rocked on their instruments but also could sing! I think each band member sang a song throughout the night, even the drummer (how cool is that!). While they had a long playlist we could look through we trusted them with the playlist for the night. They had people out dancing on the dance floor the entire event! Lindsay was extra special, we saw a performance two days later and she recognized us in the audience and gave us a shout out (talk about a caring person). Choosing Wavelength for our reception was one of the best decisions we made to make our day unforgettable!

y recommend this band if you truly want a dance band. Every member of the band is a talented musician and singer. Wavelength prices were reasonable. Setting up the contract and choosing the play list was very easy. I recommend Wavelength to anyone hosting an event with music.

So much so that our younger daughter and her husband didn't even look at other bands for their wedding celebration in March '22. Not only is Wavelength talented and fun, but they are completely up-to-date with song choices. They sure know how to get guests onto your dance floor. The guitarist even learned a new song for the bride and her dad to process to... outside! Their organization really helps your reception happen without a glitch. They were everything we hoped for- TWICE!

They had a huge album of music for us to pick from, as well as the ability to pick and choose what instruments we wanted for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. She is extremely organized, she takes any worries you could have out of the picture in regards to ceremony and reception music for your wedding. Second, the band itself is unlike any wedding band we have ever encountered. The crew brings amazing energy and Lindsay the lead singer does an fantastic job as the emcee. At one point during our evening I looked back at the tables and no one was at them, every single one of our guests (ages ranging from teens to 80s) were on the dance floor. Al, their drummer, is somehow able to simultaneously drum and rap. Their range of songs played is exceptional because of the talent of the band members! They can do everything, from 80s to current hits and their website has a huge list of their songs. Whenever we talk about our wedding, everyone always brings up how fun the reception was because of Wavelength. Simply put, Wavelength brings unparalleled exceptional service and is something that you and your guests will smile and remember about your wedding day for the rest of your lives!

t I wanted to see them live, however we live in NYC so it was difficult to make it up to Maine. My parents went to see them and insisted that we book! Johnna did a great job keeping in touching the band was so eager to learn our first dance song--which was definitely an unconventional choice! From start to finish Wavelength was great. They did a great job picking up on our vibe and knowing when to play which songs. They really directed the flow of the evening and their dinner music was a good as their dancing music! Would definitely go with them if we did it all again!

The morning after our engagement I contacted the Band Manager, Johnna, to see if we could make a dream of someday having them at MY Wedding a reality. She was an absolute pleasure to work with from our first email to the Wedding Day and EVERYTHING in between. It was a true blessing to have the Band there with us to celebrate. With a large selection and variety of songs at their disposal, they will be sure to have your guests up and dancing. When asked to play a new song for our 1st dance (My Girl-By: Dylan Scott) they took the time to learn it and absolutely nailed it!!! We couldn't have asked for a better performance. The lead female singer, Lindsay, will have you standing there in AWE. This band is full of talent and you can see/feel their love and passion. They will deliver an unforgettable experience. nd. They had to get all of their equipment over on a ferry and they did it seamlessly. Johnna, the manager, was extremely prompt with emails and phone calls, and exceptionally helpful working out all the little details we never thought about. We got the sense she truly enjoyed working with us to ensure the day was a special one. She also worked tirelessly with all the other vendors we hired to make sure the day was well coordinated. Once the big day arrived, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Our guests, about 178, never left the dance floor once they started playing (we could easily have double the size of the dance floor space). Their song selection was perfect for us, and you could tell they loved the energy and enthusiasm from everyone. We received a TON of compliments about the band and music. To me, if the guests leave wanting more, that's a good sign. We feel blessed Wavelength was part of our special day.

They played with such high energy during the dancing set improvising with great guitar and drum solos, it was hard to get anyone off the dance floor ! A perfect progression from jazz and Big Band sounds ultimately led to a customized rock and dance program that even had our 93 y/o grandmother-in-law shakin' the dance floor. Lindsey has an amazing vocal range and purity that is just the masthead of this very gifted group of musicians. You absolutely can not do better for your wedding. Thank you Wavelength!!!

r another fantastic performance. As you know this is the second time we have used Wavelength for one of our daughter’s weddings. I think that speaks for itself, especially since Erin and Andrew wanted something different and they looked into some other bands. After doing their homework, they decided on Wavelength. Of course the great experience that we had at her older sister’s wedding had something to do with it. Having a live band makes for a really memorable wedding event. The band has such a great play list and they really seem to enjoy having a good time with us. The younger set danced all night but most of the senior crowd spent the evening on the dance floor too. When the evening was done, it appeared that everyone had a great time. Most of all Erin and Andrew were very pleased. We have Wavelength to thank for a big part of the fantastic time that was had by all. Having Paul play the guitar during the wedding ceremony really added a special touch to a very special moment by the Kennebec River side. The piano playing during the serving of wine and hors de oeuvres provided relaxing background music that allowed us to mingle with our guests. So thank you and all the members of the band for their patience in preparing the play list and for making the entire event a special one for Erin and Andrew as well as their families and friends. truly knows the industry. The band itself made our wedding day incredible. Every member of Wavelength is super talented and are amazing performers. After our wedding, one of our guests told us that they’ve never had to compete for dance floor space more than at our wedding. Wavelength had everyone out there dancing and having a great time all night. They were even able to learn a few new songs that we requested that weren’t already part of their impressive repertoire! Also, they had no problems taking a ferry over to our wedding on Chebeague Island and bringing all their equipment. Amazing! Paul did an excellent job providing the acoustic guitar music for our ceremony as well. I cannot recommend wavelength highly enough!!

Johnna, the bands manager, has some of the best communication skills I have ever come across and, not only that, she is so incredibly sincere, flexible and caring. The entire planning process was easy!!! Now, when it came time for the wedding, Johnna reached out to the venue for setup details and we chatted about the flow of the evening. I felt so reassured it would all be smooth and wonderful. It was! From the start with ceremony music to the last beat of the night, the band made our guests and us very happy. The acoustic guitarist played beautiful Beatles songs throughout our ceremony. One guest commented on the transition from Black Bird to Here Comes the Sun and how seamless it was. Cocktail hour and dinner had lovely, calm keyboard and guitar music while everyone mingled and ate. They were also amazing with working on the sound system and having the microphone ready for any announcements. Then, the real party started. From the second we were introduced, the band was upbeat, having a blast and sounded incredible! The dance floor was NEVER empty!!!! For our special dances, the band was so flexible in learning new songs and they even managed to play in a way that allowed the bride to dance with multiple people for her dance. Again, seamless!! As the partying continued, the band interacted with guests, guests got friendly with them cheering them on and no one could stop dancing!!! Wavelength, as we look back, we will always remember how incredibly special you made our night. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and only hope that we can find each other again to dance in the future!!

We also had the guitar player play for our cocktail hour, which was a great touch. Johnna, the manager, was so easy to work with prior to and during the wedding. She was extremely responsive and worked with us and other vendors to make the evening as seamless as possible for us. The band was very accommodating in learning a song for our first dance and we also worked together to help put together a playlist everyone was happy with. I couldn’t recommend Wavelength more as a wedding band. From start to finish, just perfect!

They have gone above and beyond for us on so many levels. We just love them all!
