stly positive—and I can now see why.
From the moment I arrived, I felt a good vibe at the hotel. They welcomed me with a complimentary drink at the pool bar, which was a nice touch. Plus, they offered a 15% discount at Redfish, the restaurant downstairs. While they claim to have the best poke in Hawaii, I thought it was fine but appreciated the convenience.
The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I especially enjoyed the text check-ins with Wade, who made sure my stay was going well—it added a personalized touch.
The location is fantastic, within walking distance to the beach and Target, which came in clutch during my trip. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend Wayfinder Waikiki for anyone visiting Honolulu! 🌺🏖️🍹

I stayed here for 3 nights in late November 2024 (during US Thanksgiving) and really enjoyed it.
My flight arrived quite early in the morning but I was able to call the hotel after landing and secure an early check-in (for a modest fee), which...
was very much appreciated.
I booked a premium corner lanai room which had breathtaking views overlooking the canal and mountains. The interior design was done by a local company called Vanguard Theory who also did the interior design for a couple other boutique hotels in Waikiki - loved what they did with the rooms here. AC worked great. Having the lanai was so nice to be able to step outside and take in the warm Hawaiian breeze. I would advise bringing earplugs as the windows and sliding doors are older and not double-glazed, so you hear the noise from the street below (even on the 12th floor).
I had read some previous reviews where people had complained about the valet service being slow, but that wasn't my experience at all - I don't think I ever waited more than 3 minutes for my car each day and the valet guys were very friendly.
I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked great. Next time!

I'll definitely stay here again. Loved the vibe and great value compared to the oceanfront hotels.

This place was so sweet! The staff was friendly, and the hotel was filled with cute little touches that made it a comfortable stay(I loved the complimentary reef safe sunscreen and aloe). They offered gopros, towels, and all sorts of beach equi...
pment for free, which made me feel comfortable and accommodated.
The hotel recently was renovated, and shows in the modern, yet timeless design choices.
The rooms were clean and curated, not exceptionally big, but comfortable and clean.
The food at the restaurant was incredible and reasonably priced. Poolside bar had inventive cocktails and also reasonably priced. The coffee downstairs was some of the best of my life!

I traveled here in January, 2025 with my girlfriend and stayed for 8 nights. Booked Premium Corner Room with Lanai. We really loved the location of the hotel, it’s just 5 minutes from the beach and right in the center of all Waikīkī activities....
The hotel has a great interior and style, room had greats views + welcome snacks. Pool is not crowded and clean. Never used the gym but it looked neat as well. Pool-side bar and cafe offer happy hours drinks and delicious food.
From cons, I would note that some of the staff seemed unfriendly. Also, we wanted to get a late checkout to wait for our evening flight but hotel only allows to extend it to 12 pm, and charges the full 1-night price for that. Others hotels allow a pro-rated price when getting late checkout.
Definitely recommend, and would come back again.

The staff was amazing, especially Julia at the pool deck. Valet was fast and worth the money, no issues getting the car in and out as we needed.
The hotel rooms are on the smaller side a family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers it was extremely tight....
The room was a bit on the older side also.
They had beach chairs and towels as advertised and they offered free sunblock on the pool deck. Which is small and often full.
