I live in Orlando, and my now husband lived in Indiana when we became engaged. We had 3 months to plan a wedding for 50 people, and we wanted it in Key Largo at Playa Largo Resort and Spa. When we found Carly, it seemed too good to be true beca...use she was everything we needed and also EXTREMELY fair in price! From the get go, she spoke with me and my husband over the phone, listening to our vision, and hearing our thoughts on how we wanted our wedding. Carly was incredible at finding the specific vendors for our wedding (florist, cake, makeup, hair, etc etc) and arranging their part in our ceremony/reception, as well as formulating the final schedule for our wedding. She also reached out and coordinated with our photographer and videographer (both of which were coming from out of state) to make sure they were all on the same page with the timing of everything. Carly did all the DIY things for my wedding (I’m extremely NOT creative in any sense) and made the petal toss cones, ceremony order of event pamphlet, the seating chart, creative decor items for the tables during reception and ceremony, all the chalk board signs.... she even took a few bouquet flowers at the end of the wedding night to preserve them and send them back to me! Now zoom forward to wedding day. Carly and I arranged to meet to do the rehearsal the morning of the wedding since it was a small wedding party and wouldn’t take any longer than 30 minutes. Carly and I had spoken prior about how it was going to go down so we would be on the same page. She was fantastic at directing everyone and running through everything a few times so we all knew what we were supposed to be doing. That was at 8am. Then makeup and hair artist were to come at 10am when the resort was supposed to begin clearing the beach for the ceremony and reception site. Not only did the resort not start at 10am, there was a huge hole in the sand, lots of people still on the beach with no setup until about 3pm (guests were supposed to arrive at 4:30). I was extremely upset, but Carly took care of everything for me. She communicated with the event coordinator and handled everything. She set up all of the decor, coordinated with the arriving DJ, florist, and cake person. She was taking all of the things I had brought for the wedding from Orlando and manually setting every last detail up. She was incredible. I felt like I had a best friend by my side going ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure everything was done (and although the resort was sooooo behind in everything, she handled it all for me). Even when I was walking down the aisle, Carly was right there to straighten out my dress to make sure it dragged evenly. After the ceremony when we went to take family pictures, Carly brought my husband and I drinks and appetizers that were being served to our guests. She was amazing. I seriously can’t say enough that even comes close to the incredible work she did. I CANNOT imagine doing this without her!!! Anyone doing a wedding in Key Largo needs to look no further. Trust me. Get Carly. No one knows the area best then her!
