The Wayne G. Sanborn Center provides the ideal location for business meetings, weddings, receptions, banquets, parties and retreats.
All of our rooms are divisible to make it just the perfect size for your event. We can accommodate smaller meetings of 1-50 attendees all the way up to larger events with theatre style seating for 750. Each room has a beautiful courtyard adjacent to it and our Grand Ballroom boasts a view of the fountain beyond the courtyard. The Grand Ballroom has a raised stage behind the wooden dance floor with 2 small backstage changing rooms, universal Wi-Fi, and AV equipment.
Our large catering kitchen, beautiful, spacious ballroom, courtyards and open dance floor would be perfect to host your next event.

ar above and beyond on making sure that every dream I had for my wedding was accommodated by the venue to the fullest. They allowed us AND ASSISTED us with putting italian string lights over the dance floor. They allowed us the time we needed to rehearse, and to decorate. This venue is stunning. It's a perfect size for roughly 100 people wedding, it has beautiful views in indoor and outdoor and it's affordable to rent the WHOLE building which consists of 3 smaller rooms that can turn into one or two rooms, an enormous ballroom, atrium, two beautiful and clean bathrooms, a family bathroom, and the patios on both sides of the building. It's centrally located to numerous hotels of different ratings and affordability and it's only seconds away from downtown deland which has a beautiful rustic charm.
I can't speak highly enough about this venue. I can tell you that you are guaranteed a beautiful event when you work with the Sanborn Center.
They all deserve gazillion dollar raises because they are all amazing people.
The Sanborn Center is truly a hidden gem in DeLand. It is so beautiful inside and the big windows in the ballroom show off the fountain in the park at night. My wedding was perfect...
and Jennifer, Stephanie and Lyssette were there every step of the way. The price is such a good deal considering all that comes with the venue. We got the full building to ourselves for 8 hours and the food was great. We used one of the preferred caterers and the kitchen at the Sanborn Center was perfect for them to use to make sure our food came out great. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking. ☺
