Its name was inspired by the homeplace of the American Revolutionary War general, “Mad” Anthony Wayne. For its logo, the founders chose a maple leaf as a tribute to the trees that surround the site. The club was redesigned in 1968, and again in 2004, and now plays host to over 700 members and their families.
