n Latin dance for his wedding. I was so lucky to have found Evolve Dance — and even luckier to have Will as our instructor. My son, who had absolutely no Latin dance experience. We ended up taking four lessons total, which was the perfect amount for us. Will immediately listened to my son’s concerns about balancing this dance with his groom-and-bride dance, and he made thoughtful adjustments so that our choreography was simple, fun, and totally doable — yet still looked polished and impressive. Will explained every move clearly, always giving examples, and he tailored the dance specifically for us — even taking into account that our venue was outdoors, not a traditional smooth dance floor. His expertise really shined in arranging our steps so we looked confident and professional while still enjoying every moment. Thanks to Will, my son went from a complete novice to looking like a natural. I am beyond grateful for his patience, professionalism, and talent. a set of rockstar moves. From the start, there was great chemistry with Wil. We booked him because we wanted to go a bit above and beyond a traditional dance. He was excellent at arranging everything and setting expectations. On day one, Wil got to know us, our experience, and put us at ease. Both of us had no experience doing any formal dance routine before, but Wil was able to provide clear and actionable feedback in a super manageable way. We gave Wil the song we wanted to dance to and he was able to come up with the start of the choreography right on the spot. From the first class we were already dancing and had a clear sequence to practice on our own before our next meeting. The remaining classes followed a similar pattern: we would go over the choreography from the class before to see how we were doing or where we were struggling and then Wil would introduce the next series in the routine. This enabled us to build up our skills and our confidence as we were able to really learn the various moves and have a reasonable amount of “homework” that we could work on in between classes. When we danced, Wil was so supportive and clear in his instruction on how to adjust things and it really worked! As someone who has zero dance experience, Wil was expert at communicating what I needed to do (and in a way I could understand) in order to fix my technique. He made sure we were doing everything safely as well. No backs breaking during the lifts. Wil was also great at being flexible in general. It was super easy to work with him to find time in our busy schedules that would work when scheduling our next class. We also often had specific requests (timing certain moves to a part in the song or introducing something we saw on instagram) and Wil was always willing to incorporate our feedback. In the end, we had completely nailed the choreography that Wil put together for us and we were not nervous at all on our wedding day. We completely aced it during our first dance and completely blew away our friends and family! Huge thank you to Wil for letting us achieve what we thought was out of our skillset and making our wedding so special.

His skill should easily be overkill for the vast majority of people's need: You just name the type of dance you want to achieve, the length of the duration and the music. William can singlehandedly come up with a plan and preliminary choreography. - The package of the lessons is pretty customizable. There's no mandatory fixed number of classes and you can adjust up and down based on your progress. (Of course there will be a recommended timeline that makes it practical) - You can also customize the drafted choreography if you want. E.g. when you see some moves online that you like or you suddenly got hit with some enlightening ideas from nowhere, William is alway there to consult and and help. As a bonus (besides the expectation to help you achieve your dance goal), William feels more like a friend than a "service provider".
