We The Blackwells

t of such a special time in our lives. From our engagement session, they completely exceeded our expectations. We were blown away by the variety of photos, locations, poses, and creative ideas they brought to the shoot. They made us feel so comfortable and captured us in such a natural and genuine way. On our wedding day, Crist was truly incredible. He blended seamlessly into the day while somehow managing to capture every emotion, moment, laugh, and little detail so perfectly. Looking back through our photos truly brings us right back into those moments. All the joy, excitement, love, and happiness we shared with our family and friends. Beyond their talent behind the camera, they were also wonderful throughout the entire planning process. They were always quick to respond, willing to hop on a call, answer questions, and help ease my stress while planning all the wedding details. They took my vision and elevated it beyond anything I could have imagined. Not only did we receive beautiful photos, but we also gained memories we’ll cherish forever. We cannot recommend Crist and Hannah enough!

cared about our day, not just as a job, but as a once-in-a-lifetime moment. They captured everything so beautifully, from the smallest details to the biggest emotions. Looking back at our photos and video, it feels like we’re reliving the entire day all over again. They didn’t just take pictures; they told our story in the most genuine and heartfelt way. What meant the most to us was how natural everything felt. Nothing was forced or awkward. They knew exactly how to guide us while still letting us be ourselves, and that really shows in every shot. We are beyond grateful for the memories they gave us. These are moments we’ll cherish forever, and we truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to capture them. 🤍

apher Meg made us feel so comfortable and captured us perfectly. We absolutely love how the photos turned out. They’re natural, beautiful, and truly reflect us as a couple. We’ll treasure them forever and couldn’t recommend them more!

ing were communicated which is so appreciated! On the day of the wedding, they just take care of everything, are so professional, kind, and added to the whole day! Highly recommend them!

xious about our photos and photographer being perfect. To say they stepped up to the plate is an understatement. From our consultation call to receiving our photos, the entire team was so professional, personable, and kind. On our wedding day, we got a thunderstorm and a crash on the interstate delaying our start time. What could have derailed the day, our photographers took and made it work out even better than we'd planned. They helped the DJ and us move our timeline around and got our photos in the perfect sunset lighting to keep our older family members out of the peak heat. We also forgot to cut our cake (we had a small cake for just us and our guests had sheet cake) and even though we were fine to go without those photos, they still made sure to get our wedding rings and take a photo of them with the slice of cake. It was a small thing for them to think of getting a shot of, but that attention to detail and putting themselves in our shoes is what makes We The Blackwells so valuable. Our guests had nothing but kind things to say about their interactions, and our entire bridal party absolutely loved them! Having all the people we love in one space is so rare, so for them to all be so happy and comfortable in every photo means the world to us. When we got our entire gallery back, we were blown away. Not only did they perfectly capture our relationship and the biggest day of our lives, but they got all the candid moments between. Thank you Crist, Hannah, and Mari! 💗 If you're looking for a photographer with compassion, humor, and a true eye for the perfect shot, we could not recommend We The Blackwells more!

t capturing our day in the most beautiful way possible. On our wedding day, they went above and beyond — making us feel comfortable in front of the camera, catching candid moments we didn’t even realize were happening, and guiding us through poses that now look absolutely timeless in our photos. Their eye for detail and creativity shines through every single picture. When we received our gallery, we were completely blown away. Every photo tells a story and perfectly reflects the emotions, laughter, and love of the day. These are memories we will cherish for a lifetime, and we are so grateful to have had someone so talented to preserve them. If you are looking for a photographer who is not only skilled but also kind, patient, and a joy to work with, we cannot recommend We the Blackwells enough. Truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

What impressed us most was their personable approach; they made us feel at ease right away. Throughout the entire process, they were always available to answer our questions and address any concerns. They took our concerns and requests as a high priority and even took the time to get to know our families, which made the experience even more special. The turnaround time for both the photos and videos was incredibly quick, which was a huge plus. On our wedding day, everything went so smoothly. As a shy couple, we were a bit nervous about being in front of the camera, but they made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Thanks to them, we had the best, most memorable experience. We highly recommend WetheBlackwells!

vision. On the day of the wedding, they showed up with such calm, positive energy—immediately making us feel comfortable and allowing us to just be ourselves. The photos? Absolutely stunning. Every emotion, every tear, every laugh—perfectly captured. Their work is truly art. Somehow, they managed to catch every tiny moment without ever being in the way. It felt like they were everywhere and nowhere at once—in the best possible way. Their eye for detail, light, and timing is unreal. What we appreciated most was how personal the experience felt. They didn’t just show up and shoot—they saw us. Our personalities, our relationship, our people—and they documented it all so beautifully. Our gallery is full of both timeless portraits and candid shots that made us cry all over again. We've received so many compliments on our photos—everyone is obsessed. If you’re thinking about booking WetheBlackwells, do it. They are beyond talented, incredibly professional, and such lovely humans to have by your side on your wedding day. We will treasure these photos forever.

. Not only were the pictures beautiful and amazing, but Crist felt like another friend attending the wedding, instead of a photographer. He made everyone feel comfortable and even made a few people laugh hysterically. We got our previews back within three days, and I couldn't stop gushing about how beautiful and funny they were. I highly recommend employing them! We The Blackwells, are respectful, witty, talented, kind, professional, and the best wedding/engagement photographers.

nd made sure that my every question was answered and all possible stress was eliminated. I could not be more happy with the results! Not only was Crist able to capture everything on my list as well as the fun and loving candid moments you didn’t know you needed. If you are looking for an enjoyable and easy to work with photographer and great results, I couldn’t recommend the Blackwells faster! Love love love!!!

deography for our wedding! They keep the mood light while at the same time keeping the work professional. We The Blackwells were so easy to work with and the pictures turned out better than we could have hoped. We sent them inspo pics ahead of time for the aesthetic we were going for and they knocked it out of the park. Communication with them was perfect from the moment we reached out to them to inquire about their services. I highly recommend reaching out to We The Blackwells for your photography and videography needs!

calm presence, kept us on schedule, and remained warm and friendly the entire time. The whole process was very easy. We wanted photos that truly reflected the emotions of the day - nothing posed, generic, or stale - and they exceeded our expectations! Every shot feels so natural and full of life. The 24-hour preview was such a great and thoughtful touch too! Now that we have all of our photos, We can truly feel every emotion and memory from our wedding day all over again. We cannot recommend We The Blackwells enough, they are simply amazing! Thank you!!

ome so much we decided to hire them for video & photography for our wedding. Crist is so communicative and professional but doesn’t miss the chance to make you feel like a friend throughout the process. Him and his team were able to make everyone feel so comfortable and confident in front of the camera and the results were better than what we could have expected! I cannot recommend them enough! Definitely will be using them again for any future photography needs!

about anything wedding related. Our photos were everything we envisioned, and our video brought us back to our wedding day with all the same feels! Highly recommend booking these lovely people for your special day!!

tographer, he set us up with Jon and Brittani for our wedding day, and we couldn't have been happier! They were so patient with our crazy and chaotic families, and our photos were AMAZING (everything we were hoping for and more)!! We really couldn't say enough about our experience and will be recommending them to all our friends and family.

core Boston Harbor, they went above and beyond. Most anyone can point and shoot a picture, but what Christ & Hannah’s team delivered was palpable. The moment I saw or teaser photos the day after our wedding, I was blown away. You can actually feel the emotion in the pictures. They captured every moment in a way that is hard to put into words. They were always where we needed them to be, anticipating what was coming next. I will be forever grateful for the memories they captured. Their photographs made me laugh, cry, and were so heartfelt. After all the energy, effort and money you put into planning this special day, all you have to take with you are the pictures. Do not hesitate to trust Blackwell Photograohy to capture all the things. They are everything. ❤️

tood the vibe we wanted to go with, even helping with outfit planning. At our engagement shoot Hannah and Crist made us feel so comfortable and were so patient with us and made sure we had the perfect engagement photos. Our wedding was 3 days after Hurricane Milton made direct landfall in the Tampa Bay Area and Hannah and Crist didn’t even skip a beat with confirming that as long as we were moving forward so were they. The day of Noah showed up with the perfect amount of time to set up and get all the detail shots done before the family portraits. Noah took the time to make sure everyone was perfectly posed and that the lighting was perfect. He even worked with us on avoiding some of the hurricane debris that was in the background. I don’t have enough good things to say about Noah, Hannah and Crist.

hen we got engaged they were an obvious choice for our wedding. The Blackwells go above and beyond in every aspect! From the zoom calls to go over timelines, to day of engagement, and final edits, they always put you first. Our wedding day went so smoothly. Our guests even commented on how efficient Crist was at getting all the family photos. This allowed more time for fun couple pics! Crist has a great creative eye and you can feel confident that he can bring your vision to life! As an LGBTQ+ couple just know that you will feel safe, loved, and supported with the Blackwells. We can’t recommend them enough!!

ions and magic of the moment. As someone who’s only been in front of a professional camera a handful of times, I was a bit nervous, but Crist made the entire experience easy and fun. He made us feel comfortable and at ease, and his genuine love and passion for his craft shines through in every shot. The photos are breathtaking and perfectly reflect the joy and love of our special day. Thank you, Crist, for giving us these memories that we’ll cherish forever!

ook amazing photos that we’ll have forever! I’m so grateful for Crist and his team! They photographed everything that I wanted on my wedding day and made it stress-free! If you’re in between different photographers I would highly recommend The Blackwells!

indly putting my trust in anyone else's hands for such a monumental day in our lives. Throughout booking our vendors, we knew that the most important thing to us would be capturing the memories. I remember searching endless nights aimlessly scrolling through options until one day, they popped up on The Knot. Since then, the rest has been history! They have been nothing short of kind and accommodating. Endless rolling conversations with no beginning and certainly no end. The back and forth ideas we share. The laughs. They all mean more to us than we could ever say. From the moment I first reached out, they showed such a warmth. Something I've never seen before in a business, and something I don't think I'll see again. They catered to us, made a custom package for us based on our exact needs and budget, met with us for an extremely long time over video call, and ironed out every little detail with a fine tooth comb. I trusted them immediately. They have already earned my 5 star review simply for being the people they are. I am beyond eager to get to share our special day by their side. I wouldn't have it any other way.

ate. Despite being caught in the storm and stuck on the 5 Freeway for hours, Crist and his assistant made it to the venue on time and ready to roll. Crist ensured that everyone was in good spirits and made the most of the day. He was like a personal hype man! We loved his positivity and professionalism. We absolutely love our wedding photos and look back on our day with fond memories!

artistic shots and beautiful family moments—but we also received them in record time, faster than I’ve ever heard of. His communication was top-notch throughout the entire process, helping us stay organized, even with our somewhat chaotic wedding that had no planner or coordinator. His professionalism, artistic eye, and ability to make the day run smoothly were incredible. We feel so lucky to have had them to capture our special day!

table infront of the camera, and captured such beautiful memories. After our wedding, our guests had nothing but incredible things to say about them!! We got our preview of our wedding day photos back so fast our guests and family couldn’t believe it. My husband and I highly recommend using We The Blackwell’s if you’re looking for incredibly kind, fun, and talented photographers to capture your day!!

s in making sure we had everything we wanted for our special day!

They really listened to what we wanted and the end product did not disappoint! Our photos and video turned out better than we could have imagined.

Blackwell’s to anybody who is looking for that special touch. Thanks guys

photos take us right back to the moment. I can literally feel the emotions jumping out of the photos. We are SO glad we invested in them! We actually met Crist & Hans during my sister's wedding as her photographers. We just loved their vibe and how comfortable they made us feel. From that day, we knew that we wanted them for our own wedding photographers. As soon as we set the date, we hit them up and booked them! We booked them 9 months before our wedding, and for all 9 months, we were sending them inspiration photos & questions, and they were super quick to respond. If you are the type to worry about if you're being annoying with all your questions, don't be! 😅 I probably messaged Crist a million questions, even more so after we received our album. He never made me feel like a bother, which is a big deal because I've literally still been bugging him to this day 🤣 We were a little bummed that Hans wasn't able to be our photographer, due to their baby, but Malia (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was so great! We loved her energy. She had great ideas that turned out beautiful in photos 😍 Our preview album, which I figured would be about 10 photos, ended up being 70 😲 And then our video call going through the entire album together - it was such a fun call! And then the patience to find specific photos I was requesting - priceless. I can go on and on and it wouldn't be enough. Honestly, my one regret is not investing in extra hours with them!! Love yall!

and pose was spectacular. Jason and I were blessed to find such perfect photographer for our wedding day!

flexible. Since ours is a Hispanic wedding, he collaborated with a photographer that has more experience with Hispanic wedding to take out photos. All the photos turned out perfect! He will edit the photos based on what you requested too. I would love to work with him again.

with our choice. He is incredibly responsive, made us feel comfortable immediately (which leads to beautiful photos), and really made sure the photos we wanted we captured. The photos are everything we wished for and more, and I can't thank Crist enough for how easy he made everything feel! Working with them was one of the best decisions we made and I can't recommend them enough!

e sure our memories are captured forever in the most unique and special way. This might sound cliche but with all the wedding stress going on the LAST THING you want to worry about it your photos and capturing the moments that you’ll cherish forever. From my first phone call with Crist, I can’t explain how or why, but I KNEW and felt that he knew what we wanted and how to make that happen. He was flexible and understanding. He’s kind and professional. Rolling with the punches and taking things as they come on such a stressful day I truly don’t know if I would have made it on my wedding day without his support and presence. Blessed and grateful are two words that come to mind when I think about my experience with the Blackwell’s. We love our photos and feel so lucky to have found these two artistic gems.

came out far better than we expected! They're extremely intentional in all that they do -- not just in the details + moments they capture, but also in how they serve their clients. Planning a wedding can be STRESSFUL (especially when there's family drama), + every time we met with the Blackwells, they made sure to check in on us as human beings + ask how they could help. On the day of our wedding, they made it so magical -- having us both take moments throughout the day to soak it in, rather than rush from one thing to the next. They're also absolutely hilarious + SO FUN to spend your special day with! We HIGHLY recommend them!!

ff was an absolute pleasure to work with and went above and beyond. I will 100% use again for any occasion!

how you the beauty of your day in a way better than you could have imagined. Second, they are amazing people. They are there to support you through your event and help you stay in the moment enjoying every part of it. I am so so glad we had them as our photographers for our wedding. BEST DECISION EVER!

y message I sent within a couple hours (which is a must for Type A brides like me) and captured every important moment on our big day. He was a fantastic communicator with all of our other vendors which helped our evening flow smoothly. Crist was so kind, personable, and approachable on our wedding day that my family still talks about how much they loved him. If your looking for a photographer that not only captures your wedding but adds value to your wedding memories, Crist is your guy.

are comfortable with photos, but Crist and Han were wonderful at making us relax, laugh, and have fun. They are very skilled and invested in making your photos exactly what you’ve dreamed of, and they know how to direct you (and encourage some silliness) to capture really emotive moments. They did our wedding and engagement photos, and managed to include everything I wanted in both shoots! They even hiked up a hill and got our dog involved in our engagement shoot to make sure we had the perfect photos. My wedding photos capture not just who, what, and when, but how we actually felt on that day. They made sure we captured everything; from getting ready through the first look and ceremony; detail shots with our handfasting cords, rings, and shoes; and great shots of everyone celebrating at the reception. I was shocked by how many photos they got, and how many I liked myself in (that never happens for me)! They also sent us our photos way ahead of schedule - we had our wedding photos only a couple days after the wedding! Photos are so easy to download, order, and share, that even our grandparents are able to get and print their favorites without assistance. Beyond their professional skills, Crist and Han are just fun to be around. We both loved hanging out, and would love to do so again if they ever find themselves in our corner of California.

hroughout our planning process, and it’s one we would repeat again and again. From the start of our relationship with them, they made everything so easy and fun. Deciding on a shooting location for our engagement shoot was fun, and we had a blast meeting them for that. They are so incredibly flexible and accommodating, they really live to make dreams come true. And for a lot of people, that’s so important throughout an event as significant as a wedding. Due to COVID, we did end up experiencing a few postponements of our actual wedding date, and they were so accommodating of that situation as well. When our wedding day did finally arrive, they couldn’t have been a more perfect duo to just blend in and make the experience as fun and memorable as possible. And received all our photos a couple weeks and we can’t get over how incredible they are. Talking about exceeding expectations! We love our photos, we love Crist and Hannah, and we would do the exact same thing if we had it to do over again. Thanks guys!

pecially with establishment the timeline of events. They were super understanding and amazing when we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid. One of our favorite things about the Blackwells was our engagement photo shoot. It came included in our wedding package!! And they came to us to Ashland! To have our pictures taken in Lithea Park for the fall colors. I’ve never been great at taking photos and Chris and Hannah just made me feel so comfortable during the whole photo shoot, we had so much fun! And they really captured our personalities. They really took the time to know us before our big day. Our wedding photos came out so amazing and they really captured moments you never even would’ve thought about. We can’t wait to work with them again highly recommend them!

hat we wanted and all the photos turned out amazing! They're great people, are fun and professional and such a joy to work with. If you need any photos taken ever, the Blackwell's are the ones to call.

ience and will do anything in their power to make you feel comfortable and at ease! I cannot recommend them enough!

g of our date changes, lack of plans and need for flexibility. Once all that was settled, they helped make our big day feel SO special, even though it wasn't our original plan for a big wedding. Crist and Hannah put my husband and I first the entire time they were with us and made sure to get photos that really embodied us! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WORKING WITH THEM, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
