We, Unity Candle

I guess finding a wedding band is stressful for a lot of couples. Luckily, this was not an issue for my husband and I-- we'd been to a wedding where We, Unity Candle played and we knew they'd be perfect for us. They have an amazing song list that satisfies a range of needs-- great classics, crowd pleasers and Indie rock that impresses even the most discerning of hipsters. How often can a band play The Pixies or LCD Soundsystem and pull it off? These guys are amazing. They were able to perform beautiful ceremony songs and great dance music, so from start to finish, we had a wedding with the perfect balance of tradition, old school and contemporary tunes. Mason, the band leader, put us at ease immediately in the planning stages. Of course I was exhausted and getting nervous in the month leading up to our big day, and Mason basically just told us everything we needed to know, gave advice and ideas, asked a few questions I hadn't thought of, and walked us through the whole process. He worked with our hotel on all the needed set up and load in/out details, so I never had to worry about any of those details. Bottom line is our band truly made our reception an amazing party. Everyone from my Dad, to friends, were out on the dance floor all night-- we had a blast! I highly recommend We, Unity Candle!

We have all been to that wedding that has everything going for it......until the music starts. Music is one of the most important aspects of creating the right ambiance for your most special and important party. It doesn't matter how pretty everything else is, if the music is terrible people will remember that and it will overshadow everything else. I first saw W.U.C. perform at the indie wed show and knew I had to have them play at our wedding. After a few initial emails the band leader met with us at the most convenient time for us, he listened to what we specifically wanted and didn't want. He helped me find songs for the things I didn't really care about/was to frazzled to deal with. On the wedding day this was one of the only vendors I didn't have to worry about at all. They were there and set up well before the ceremony. They were all dressed very tastefully. They didn't miss a beat with the music during our ceremony and even looped our walk in song so we didn't have to rush down the aisle. During cocktail hour they played all the songs I had asked plus a few extra that I love and had forgot to put on the play list. They stuck to the schedule we had come up with and that had made the entire night go as smooth as I could have ever dreamed up. After cocktail hour they transformed from DJ to rocking wedding band. They kept the entire dance floor packed all night and when their time was up all of our guest cried out for an encore, which they happily obliged to do! Everyone had a great time, from my eleven year old daughter to my 82 year old Grandma and everyone in-between! I would definitely recommend We Unity Candle for your wedding entertainment.
