This venue was absolutely STUNNING! We planned on an outdoor wedding, but it was rained out, so we had to move everything inside. We weren't too disheartened because the inside of the venue was just as beautiful as the outside. Tamara, the owner, was amazing to work with! She answered any questions we had in a timely manner both before the wedding and the days before. If there is anyone on the fence about this venue, go ahead and book it! I know you and your family will love it as much as we did!

Tamara was amazing to work with, she is the absolute sweetest and made sure that we had everything we needed. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the owners are professional and great, and the venue comes with plenty of decor (not that you need any since it is so beautiful). We booked the venue for two days and had our rehearsal dinner and set up the night before. This venue is a gem, you will not find a prettier venue for this price! The venue has a perfect kitchen for caterers and supplies charger plates. There's a bride and groom room upstairs with plenty of space, and the bridal room was perfect for hair and makeup with multiple vanities to get ready at. Overall, could not have imagined having our special day anywhere else!

The Wisdom family has always dreamed of building a beautiful location where people could share their most memorable moments. They decided that the small town of Preston would be the perfect spot for a barn venue, as barns have historically been used for social gatherings. The Wisdoms collaborated with local Amish artisans to build the stunning Weathered Wisdom Barn, which began operating in 2013. The rustic charm of a bygone era greets you and your guests at Weathered Wisdom Barn. Tradition meets with modern amenities, making this a perfect venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners, family reunions, corporate events, birthday parties, anniversaries, or any special occasion you want to celebrate.

cess to make sure we had everything we needed and felt comfortable in the space. Having rooms upstairs to get ready meant we could spend the entire day in one place, which allowed us to slow down and savor our day more than usual. I would absolutely recommend to my friends.

Fri-Sun so that things didn't feel so rushed and stressful the day of the wedding. Both of the owners were super helpful with recommendations This Barn is absolutely beautiful and the story behind it is too. We got married on May 11th 2019 and people for vendors and they helped with anything we were unsure of. We live in Kansas City and we chose this venue over anything close to us. We loved this venue and they deserve 5 Stars.

but there is plenty of leftover decorations from prior brides that are free to use on your big day! I would definitely recommend this venue, and I would choose the barn over and over if given the chance!

ywhere else! It's so amazingly gorgeous there. Tamra and Chris are great, they are always around if you need help or have any issues at all. It was perfect to accommodate our guest list of 150 and still had plenty of room for more. If you are looking for a rustic setting in the perfect quiet country location, this is definitely the place to do it!

res I was hooked! As beautiful as the pictures are, they simply cannot do the barn justice! When I visited the barn for the first time, I was in awe of the beautiful building, setting, and decorations. As a bride, I never worried about decorations! They have a ton of leftover decorations from previous weddings you can use! Mr. and Mrs. Wisdom are very easy to work with and will do everything they can to make your event exactly the way you’ve envisioned. Mrs. Wisdom (Tamara) was also very helpful in finding churches, hotels, hair salons and other necessary vendors near Preston, MO since I was unfamiliar with the area. We were married on August 23rd, 2014. Our unmarried friends told us we set the bar really high for any future weddings!

gorgeous and perfect! The owners are lovely folks who were there to answer any and all of my questions/concerns. The guests raved about the how beautiful the venue is. There are so many wonderful details put into this space. It's not your typical "barn", it's a glam barn with elegant, special touches. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day with the perfect venue!

The Barn is like no other place around, it's so unique & the perfect size for a small or big event. I had my wedding March 1st, 2014 & it was an absolute dream come true! ve made sure that everywhere you look is romantic and speaks of Love. The Kitchen, is a large families delight. Bathrooms, which there are plenty to accommodate the amount of guest that attended, the front porch, the Bride's room, Groom's room and the windows that they were married in front of is a lifetime of memories. I would believe anyone that is thinking of getting married would want to check out this beautiful venue, it is so much more than a barn. It is a beginning for a couple in love. ue your decorations can be minimal and still have a lavish looking wedding. The owners are so kind and helpful through the entire process. You really could not ask for more beautiful venue with little need for decorations. Not to mention the kitchen is a caterers dream! This venue is worth every dollar!
