Hello! I am Weathers Witness, a wedding officiating service based in the DFW area in Corinth, TX.

Congrats on your engagement and upcoming wedding! As a past bride, I understand the thrill (and stress) of planning a wedding. However, we strive to make sure that securing your officiant & day of is as easy as getting engaged!
The first thing you should know about me is that I am a SUCKER for love... any kind of love! As well as the stories that come with them. I love getting to really connect with couples to make the perfect wedding script tailored just for them. One of the additional main things that I knew going into this was that I wanted to create a company that was going to be budget-friendly and not break the bank for couples needing an officiant. Weddings are a huge financial commitment, and I wanted to make sure that couples could get an officiant without having to worry about what they had to give up to do so or how they would fit it into their budget.
Second is how I got into this business. For as long as I can remember, I loved to write. I love the creativity, the heart, the passion, and the beauty that goes into every word, drawing out the emotion of the intended audience. After writing a couple of friends' vows as well as my own, I made a joke one day to my wife that I would love to be able to turn this into a living. She looked at me like I was crazy and said, "You know you can, right? You LOVE all things LOVE, writing, and people. Be an officiant." Then it hit me. The best idea she (and I, haha) ever had! Become the best officiant that there ever was! Thus Weathers Witness was born.
I fell in love so deeply with the wedding industry and the couples that came with it, that I decided to expand my services to now include day of coordinating as well!
I am truly excited and honored to be in the wedding game, and I can not wait to get to chat with each of you!

vior was shockingly unprofessional from start to finish.
My husband was part of the bridal party and witnessed firsthand how abrasive and dismissive she was toward the group. At one point, he was helping care for the groom’s newborn while everyone was getting ready, and she made multiple insensitive and inappropriate comments about the baby being an “inconvenience” and demanded they be taken elsewhere. It was not only unnecessary, but incredibly tone-deaf given the situation.
As a guest, I also personally experienced her hostility. During the sparkler send-off, she raised her voice at guests, barked instructions, and made several harsh, unnecessary comments to individuals who were simply trying to follow directions and celebrate the couple. It created an uncomfortable and tense atmosphere during what should have been a joyful moment.
A wedding coordinator should bring calm, organization, and professionalism… not stress and hostility. Her demeanor throughout the event was inappropriate, abrasive, and completely out of line for someone in this role.
I genuinely hope future couples take this into consideration before booking. There are so many coordinators who handle high-pressure situations with grace, and unfortunately that was not the case here.
