Wed & Gather

Laura worked with my husband and me to plan/provide day-of coordination for our June 2026 wedding (120 guests). During the year leading up to it, I was working full-time and pursuing a part-time MBA while my husband was a founding member of a startup. We would not have had the wedding we wanted without Laura- despite how busy we were, she helped us plan and execute the most joyous and unforgettable wedding day that truly felt like "us". There are so many things to thank Laura for. I’ll mention just a few. Throughout the planning process, Laura helped us stay on track. She created and regularly reviewed with us a table of important to-dos and a target date for getting them done. For better or worse, important vendors (hair/makeup, bands, florists) book over 10+ months out and so this is a really important time for making decisions even though it feels like the day is still so far away. She also created a budget tracker for us, which we regularly checked in on as well. It was useful to make sure we were spending our budget on the things that really mattered to us. Laura helped us navigate a complex day-of timeline. Our hotel/getting ready location was 30 minutes from our ceremony, and our ceremony was an hour from our reception venue. I was very nervous about this. But Laura made sure every person, bud vase, and sign was exactly where it was supposed to be when it was supposed to be there. One of the most fun parts of planning the wedding was imagining the overall vision and vibe we wanted on our wedding day. Visuals and design (and suggesting decor choices that were actually compatible with your budget!) are one of Laura’s greatest strengths. She made us a mood board and sourced items that we needed to bring the vision to life. Sheesh, I loved making those Pinterest boards to share ideas with her. Lastly, and most importantly, nothing about working with Laura feels transactional. I talked with a few wedding planners and day-of coordinators before deciding to work with Wed & Gather, and so much of those consultation calls were spent reminding me how often I was permitted to speak to them and what was out of scope. Working with Laura felt like having an friend in our corner. Highly recommend working with Wed & Gather. There will truly never be enough praise or thank-yous for the incredible job Laura did to make our wedding the perfect day! We hired Laura as our day-of coordinator, and from the moment we started working together —building our timeline and finalizing every last detail—I finally felt like I could relax because I knew she had everything under control. As the wedding got closer, Laura only continued to impress us. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to have someone like her leading the charge on such a busy, emotional, and fast-paced day. She thought of details we never even knew we needed, carefully walked us through the timeline, practiced the schedule with us, and made sure our bridal party and parents knew exactly where they needed to be and when. If you do one thing for your wedding, hire Laura. One of the biggest testaments to how amazing she is was hearing other vendors compliment her throughout the day. They were so impressed by her professionalism, organization, leadership, and the wonderful rapport she built with our families. She kept everything running seamlessly while making everyone feel comfortable and cared for. We truly had the best wedding day, and that is in no small part thanks to Laura. She is not only an incredible professional but also such a kind, genuine person. My only regret is that the wedding is over because it means I don't get to talk to Laura anymore! She is a true class act, the absolute best at what she does, and someone I would recommend to every couple planning a wedding.
