From floral designer to owner, he has guided hundreds of weddings from the first consultation to the final installation. After planning his own wedding, Rene was inspired to create the kind of personalized experience he wished he had. Today, he works closely with couples to design custom proposals, oversees every wedding, and partners directly with our flower farms to source exceptional blooms. When he's not helping couples plan their weddings, Rene enjoys spending time with his family and their two dogs. He loves getting to know each couple and bringing their vision to life in a way that feels personal to them.

I showed him my color scheme and a few pictures of what I was thinking. He was familiar with my church and venue so he made suggestions and showed me pictures to further guide my decision making. He even asked me if I wanted to come in to see what my centerpieces would look like a few weeks before. When I was there, I asked if we could add different colors of pink for dimension and Renee came out with a few different pink roses and showed me how each would look. The day of my wedding, the church was beautifully decorated, my bridesmaids bouquets and my bouquet were exactly what I envisioned, and my center pieces were beautiful. Flowers can be expensive and I felt like they were reasonably priced. I know brides who have paid a lot more for a lot less. You will not go wrong if you choose Renee and New City Florist for your wedding!

m our first consultation, we knew right away that we wanted to work with Rene and his team. He was kind, patient, and very accommodating of our vision and how to bring it to life. If we needed something (Geometrical backdrop for ceremony for example) Rene was able to find exactly what we were looking for! He took our ideas and brought it into the venue far better than we could have imagined. His team not only set up the event, but then returned later that night after everyone was gone for the clean up. We had nothing to stress about, except to enjoy ourselves. Lastly, Rene was very accessible during the whole process, and usually responded to any call or email within MINUTES. We are very fortunate to have used such a great company and the fact they are local to our home made it even more meaningful to use them. We continue to use New City Florist as our go-to for any occasion and event- bouquets big or small! They answered all my questions, responded quickly to every single phone call or email and they were so patient even when I kept changing my ideas and adding things to the order.
