Styles include Ballroom, Hip Hop, Jazz, basic Salsa, country line, Bollywood, and Disco. I have the venue, or willing to travel. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Laura for our wedding dance, and in just three lessons, she created a full choreographed routine that was beyond our expectations! She made the process fun and easy, even for two people with very little dance experience.
Our guests were blown away, and the dance ended up being one of the most talked-about highlights of the night. Laura's talent, patience, and creativity really shined through, making our first dance unforgettable. We can't recommend her enough!
Laura is the best!!! We were in desperate need of choreography for our first dance & she absolutely nailed it… not to mention she’ll have you laughing while doing it. All it took was 3 classes and some at home practice. Couples- this is the best investment!!!!

Laura was AMAZING to work with! We are definitely not dancers or anywhere even remotely close to being dancers but Laura was able to make us our own personal first dance choreography that was within our skill set. It was such a great dance and it really made our wedding that much more fun and memorable. I highly recommend booking your first dance lessons with Laura. Her skills and prices definitely beat out all the competitors. Stop second guessing yourself and just book Laura!!! My husband and I plan to make time at least on our anniversaries to do our first dance again every year, that’s how much we loved and enjoyed our dance. 🥰❤️🥰 we don’t have our professional pictures back yet but here are some stills from a video a guest took.

Laura has been absolutely amazing in helping my fiancé and I choreography and learn the first dance for our wedding. We are far, far from good dancers and are not usually comfortable dancing but Laura made it a fun, comfortable environment for us. We brought her the song we were interested in using for our first dance and she choreographed an amazing dance for us and was super flexible and easy to work with. Cannot recommend her enough

Laura choreographed the wedding dance of both my husband and me as well as my dad and me. They were both absolutely perfect and it made our day even more special to share those sweet moments and surprise the rest of our guests. Don’t walk, DANCE your way to Laura! Laura was AMAZING! We both never danced and after 3 classes we nailed our dance. She was able to choreograph our first dance to our song and it was a hit. She was patient with us and so much fun to work with. By far my favorite vendor that we worked with while wedding planning. I wish we also worked with her on parent dances.

Laura was our wedding first dance choreographer. I can’t recommend her enough! Me and my fiancés don’t have any dance background, but we wanted to have a memorable first dance. We did 5 lessons with Laura and it was the best decision! We finished our choreography on lesson number 3 and the final 2 were practice. It came out amazing!!! We had so much fun. So many of our guests commented that their favorite part of the wedding was our first dance. Laura was so fun to work with as well, she’s incredibly helpful. Thank you so much Laura!

Amazing experience working with Laura. My fiance and I have never danced in our lives and she choreographed our entire dance, taught us moves and gave us tips that make the moves easy for beginners. We laughed the whole time. She is super easy to schedule with and was up front about pricing. Dance lessons with Laura made wedding prep fun because we got to laugh & enjoy and learn something new that we are so excited & confident to perform for all of our guest. We also decided to do 1 lesson each for Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance because we know Laura can make us look good dancing in that little time. Highly recommend!

Laura was so easy to work with and she made our dance happen in only 2 classes! She really helped us a lot. We had no dancing experience at all until we met her. She was so helpful with learning the steps and the recording she does really helps you with practicing at home to get better. Laura came highly recommended and there is no doubt why. We now highly recommend her to anyone. We were so lucky to find her when we did! She is the best!

Laura was fantastic! Neither myself nor my husband are very good dancers, we thought it would take 5-6 lessons to even be remotely OK enough for our wedding but within 3 lessons Laura had walked us through a dance routine for our wedding day and got us well prepared. She made the classes really fun and enjoyable and gave us a lot of encouragement and pointers. I was terrified of dancing in front of so many people but now I feel prepared and ready. I would happily recommend Laura!

We signed up for 5 dance classes with Laura for our wedding. After dance number 2 our first dance was fully choreographed. We spent the remaining three classes making final touches, insuring our dance was perfect. Laura gave us the confidence that we needed and showed an abundance of patience in teaching us. Laura is amazing! In 5 lessons we had an amazing routine that had 3 lifts, a dip, and multiple turns. So many people at our wedding complimented our dance and we had so much fun learning it!

Laura was amazing to work with, we signed up for her 5 lessons dance package, and had all the choreography done in 3 lessons, using the last two for some refining, and added complexity. Neither of us had any formal dance training before hand and our guests were really wowed! She also provides the confidence to be on the dance floor during your wedding and to just enjoy yourselves with the dance instead of focusing on everyone else watching you!
I even hired her for another lesson to help shape my dad and I's dance and had the big steps down in 1 lesson!

We hired Laura to help us with our first dance. We went into it thinking as beginners we would just learn a few steps so we weren’t swaying back and forth. By the end of the first session we had a whole dance memorized which is way more than we ever imagined! She is a wonderful instructor and super easy to work with. Laura helped my husband and I with our first dance for our wedding in October 2021 and she was absolutely amazing! I was nervous about our first dance because I hadn’t “slow danced” since probably middle school, and after four or five lessons with Laura my worries were gone! She helped us choreograph a first dance that worked perfectly for us and we were able to adjust along the way to be as formal or informal as we wanted. We came to Laura for help in coming up with our first dance at our wedding in June. As we truly are beginners, we started the process in January expecting this to take a while. We really had no idea what to expect but Laura taught us steps that were basic but beautiful. By the end of the third class, our dance was complete! Now we have time to practice on our own and return back to the studio for a practice session or two before the wedding. It has been a fun time and we know our guests will be surprised when they see us on the dance floor. Thanks Laura!!

Laura is amazing at working with people. She does not just instruct, but she gets to know you so she knows how to help you make the most of your special day. We loved Laura! My fiancé thought the idea of dance class was a terrible one. Laura was fun and easy to work with and made him feel at ease while learning. We learned an entire dance in 3 classes and my fiancé even left saying he really enjoyed it. We can’t wait to perform this at our wedding and hope to return to future dance classes!

Laura was amazing! My husband and I booked her to choreograph our first dance, and neither of us had dance experience. Laura was so fun to work with, made us laugh and feel relaxed and adapted our dance to our level. Some moves we weren’t able to pull off during practice so she turned them into something we were able to do. My daughter and I had something special in mind for our father/daughter dance. We had a mashup of 4 songs starting as a slow dance then it went wild and crazy and finshed with laughs. As soon as Laura heard the music she was able to choreograph moves through the different genres. I'm not a dancer so the finished product will not win an awards but the final prenentation was a blast and recieved laughs and applause. Thank you for making our dance a fun time.

Laura truly is the best ever! When we contacted her to choreograph a mother-son dance for us both my son and I were nervous because neither of us had taken dance lessons before. We wanted to dance to "Happy" by Pharrell starting out with the two of us and breaking into a flash mob at the end. Laura was instantly on board with our crazy idea. She worked patiently teaching us our part of the dance and then she held group sessions to teach our flash mob group their part of the dance. The scheduling was tricky since we were trying to coordinate many adults with busy schedules and Laura was extremely flexible and accommodating. We felt completely confident and ready to perform our dance and it went off without a hitch - not to mention that it was an absolute blast! I would 100% recommend Laura as your choreographer!

Laura choreographed an absolutely beautiful first dance for us. She is amazing and so fun to work with. We enjoyed every lesson we had with her. I had a very long dress with a train and she was super creative with choreographing the dance around my dress. She didn’t need any direction at the beginning, but she was also very flexible when we wanted to add some new dance moves while we progressed with our dancing. She helped us refine the dance that it looked like we were almost professional dancers!
All guest were impressed by our wedding dance and said that it was the highlight of the wedding, looked like a fairytale about a prince and princess. We are forever thankful for everything she did for us!!!

Laura did a phenomenal job with our first dance. We were not the easiest job either, considering neither me nor my wife had ever danced before in our lives. Not only that, but we had a very unconventional song and we were a bit worried that it would be difficult to work with. Also, we didnt really provide laura with any direction at all, aside from telling her all the things we didnt like. In the end, Laura worked some serious magic and we had a first dance that we and our wedding guests will never forget. We will always be thankful for Laura's help and for the moment she gave us on our big day!

We worked with Laura for our first dance. We had a difficult song to choreograph to as it wasn't your typical slow song, but that's why we loved it! Laura worked with us one-on-one for many sessions until we knew the dance and could focus on details. She listened to our feedback and was extremely flexible with our hectic schedules. Laura was also very fun to work with and we looked forward to our sessions. I highly recommend coming to this family-owned local company!

Laura is very talented and takes time out to listen to couples! She helped us choreograph our first dance and make it exactly how we wanted it, and worked with us until we felt comfortable and happy! Neither of us have danced in the past but she works with people at all levels and taught us everything and we were just so happy with our final choreography!

My children and I danced with Alyce Carella Dance Centre and Laura for 14 plus years. Their level of professionalism and expertise is unmatched. Laura is a brilliant choreographer who has won awards for choreography at many dance competitions. When my husband I were planning our wedding in May of 2017, it was without hesitation that we asked Laura to choreograph our first dance. She choreographed a dance for us that was exactly what we had asked for. She allowed us to express ourselves in ways that both my husband and I were comfortable with. Laura at Alyce Carella Dance Center is a phenomenal choreographer, and so much fun to work with! Her energy at events is contagious, and she choreographed a beautiful first dance for my husband and I. I have been using Laura to choreograph events for over 10 years (she also played a large role at my Bat-Mitzvah many years ago and led all of the choreographed dancing). Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun and professional choreographer or dance teacher for their wedding day!
