just a few months before my wedding. I was teetering, if I needed a day of coordinator, but I decided that it was worth it for my big day. I am a very type-A person and had a good handle on my wedding but was starting to realize that I couldn’t do it all, especially on my wedding day. Stephanie and I scheduled a call and she won me over right away. She was responsive, paid close attention, experienced and well-versed, and it was clear that she cared deeply about each client she was working with. She offers a lot of different services, but I only engaged her for my day of service (which also included her services for the month before my wedding). My only regret is that I wish I found her sooner, I could have saved myself a lot of stress earlier on in my planning process! Stephanie was quick to get up to speed on my wedding vision and in no time, I was fully able to trust her to execute my big day, just as I had envisioned it. She was so organized and responsive throughout the process, provided great suggestions based on her experience, and was truly a pleasure to work with. I honestly don’t know how I could have had my wedding without her. So many people that were part of my wedding party, my family, my friends, and other vendors had nothing but remarkable things to say about Stephanie and her assistant Maya. They were effective, efficient, professional, creative, polite, talented, and a lot of fun to work with- but I know I am probably missing a few adjectives here. She reigned in all of my crew and my vendors too to get everyone on the same page. What I appreciated most is just how much Stephanie truly respected my wishes. In wedding planning there are so many conflicting thoughts and ideas coming through but I knew Stephanie was in my corner and knowing that was invaluable so I could enjoy my day, worry free. Stephanie’s booking process, contract process, and payment schedule was flexible and easy to understand- nothing hidden or ambiguous. It seemed like she was always working- she was so quick to respond no matter when I reached out. Stephanie offers a number of other services, including travel agent services I believe. I would call her in a heartbeat if I ever thought I might be able to use her services again and will gladly recommend her to anyone that I can.

eyond. We did not need a wedding planner, but did want a focused and detail-oriented wedding coordinator to bring our hard work and vision to life. We chose to work with Stephanie and ultimately very much regret that we did not work with a wedding coordinator that was familiar with modern weddings and our venue, that had an established portfolio of planning or coordinating comparable weddings, and that had trained professional staff (rather than family members that happened to be available that day). While a nice enough person and did an ok job, her execution was very disappointing. One important example is our dinner centerpieces. We had four 12-foot long tables and provided 3 large and 4 small floral centerpieces, along with 8 candles for each table; we provided a staged picture for exactly how we wanted each set of 2 pace settings to look. We instead got 1 centerpiece and two small ones, and two candles placed awkwardly in the center of 12 foot tables; the rest of the large centerpieces were placed on the ledges by the window - a suggestion Stephanie made during the venue walkthrough that we explicitly said “no” to. The rest of the centerpieces were unused. This left our guest tables looking bare and bland, which was far from our vision and a waste of the centerpieces we invested in. This thoughtlessness of the decor extended to our outdoor cocktail hour and reception space: we provided enough outdoor pillows for each of the benches and lounge chairs to have at least one, and yet some of the furniture had 3 pillows, while others had none at all. She was also not consistently helpful where one would expect her to be, for example when figuring out how to handle our first look when running late for our ceremony, she suggested that my husband get in the limo with me, then drive somewhere together - which I had to point out would defeat the entire purpose of a first look; she walked directly in front of our livestream while my parents walked me down the aisle; she did not coordinate with the photographers and videographers to remind them not to walk or stand in front of the livestream camera, which happened several times; and most frustrating of all, upon our return from our honeymoon, we found our wedding licenses that had to be filed for our marriage to be legal among the items Stephanie compiled for us - while it was the officiant's duty to take and turn the licenses in, it was shocking that this wasn’t at least called to our or the officiant's attention. Overall, as a wedding coordinator, Stephanie did not bring the ease, preparedness, and calm to our wedding day (one guest described her energy as "frantic") that we expected from someone who often reminded us of her 20+ years in the wedding industry. Overall, we would not recommend her as a Wedding Coordinator. Our advice to other couples that choose to plan their own weddings (which we do not regret in the slightest!), even if a wedding coordinator seems expensive given that you’ve done all the heavy lifting, know that the cost is an investment in ensuring that all of your hard work pays off; having a coordinator that is committed to understanding your vision -and is skilled enough to execute your vision- is crucial. It also means less stress on your wedding day and less regrets afterwards!

ess, and my wedding experience was absolutely enjoyable and stress free. She was truly professional, very patient, listened to my ideas, made the entire process so easy going for us and made it perfect! Stephanie wasn't only my planner she was oftentimes a mediator between vendors, a counselor and listening ear when I felt the pressure was simply too much to handle. I honestly don't know how I would've have done it if not for her and her team. It was refreshing to have someone who felt like an advocate for me and my husband, who made sure, every step of the way that our needs and wants were the main priority. The day of our wedding was an absolute success. I was brought to tears when I walked into my ceremony and reception hall. The beautiful flowers and decor design literally took my breath away. Our purple and gold theme came alive and spoke loud and clear, we were truly amazed!!! It was a beautiful, elegant, and classy event. Our wedding was truly breathtaking and my guests are still talking about how gorgeous it was! We want to thank Cjsmommy for exceeding our expectations!!! From sending us quotes to making phones calls to vendors, Stephanie was professional and meticulously detailed. She was super responsive to ANY questions we had usually getting back to us within minutes of us making an inquiry. On the day of the actual wedding we did not have to worry about one single thing as Stephanie had thought of EVERYTHING. She even was gracious enough to provide our party with a fruit platter to make sure we ate before the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception and the decor was amazing! We could not have anticipated just how fabulous the entire day turned out to be! Our guests had a great time and we were more than satisfied with Stephanie’s work! We HIGHLY recommend her for anything you need. I don’t care if it is a backyard barbecue Stephanie is the best at putting your vision with her resources to create a flawless, unforgettable beautiful experience. If I were to sum up our experience with Stephanie and her team in one word it would have to be PHENOMENAL!!!

nd the last min items I forgot and was great at managing my crazy family lol. She is very resourceful, and is an awesome person to have on your team. I felt like where where in great hands. If I could do it all again, I would. I definitely plan to use her for other events not just wedding also.

We knew we needed extra help with planning because we couldn't be close by to assist in the months leading up to the wedding. Stephanie was truly God sent. DO NO HESITATE hire Stephanie and let her carry your worries away. My sister was the least stressed bride I've ever interacted with and that was all due to Stephanie. 5 Stars all around. . The owner and staff were punctual (early) allowing the event to start without a hitch. The package we requested far exceeded our expectations. NOTHING was omitted. I highly recommend their services for any social event ... weddings, showers, birthdays, etc.

just decided to switch from a courthouse civil union to a big family wedding. She helped us find our caterer, florist, the dress, decor, makeup artist and was a fountain of good ideas and solutions. She never made us feel like an afterthought despite the fact that we had a small budget and that she was planning two other weddings. She was always warm, understanding, professional and most importantly, she took all of our desires/requests seriously. We will always be grateful to her for making our big day the special occasion it was.

ew what they were doing. She eventually apologized for everything asked how much of a refund i wanted. I have requested my refund she is now refusing to do so. During my wedding she was nowhere to be found when i needed her. Stephanie ensured me that she or one of her staff would be with me the entire time and have walkie-talkies to communicate however this was not the case. I continuously asked for her and she was absent. My photographer instructed her not to let guest into the reception room until he tells her to so that my husband and i could get photos in the room. I did not get to take photos in my reception room because Stephanie let the guest into the room before we could get photos. My photographer was not happy and neither was I. He and his team went to get Stephanie and she did not come to me nor did her staff. He give my instructions to clear an area for photos and Stephanie refused to do so. Another example is when cars were parked out front of the mansion and we could not get photos there, I sent some of my bridal party to get Stephanie (because again she was nowhere to be found) and she never came out to get tag numbers to have cars moved. Because of Stephanie my wedding was missing decor in cocktail, ceremony, & reception rooms. When asked why the decor was not placed she lied repeatedly. In reality she forgot my decor! I trusted her to have everything there and set up as she said she would! Also, she did not place my favors on the table as she said she would. When asked about it she looked dumbfounded & later she had them passed them out in the tattered cardboard boxes they were delivered in. I was beyond embarrassed and my guest made sure to tell me as it was grossly tacky! I could go on and on about the endless lies and mess ups but i don't have enough room!
