Halfway through our set of lessons, we decided we wanted to change one of the elements and Tara was amazing at coming up with options and helping us quickly weave it into what we’ve already learned. After five lessons, we felt confident and comfortable. We could actually relax and ENJOY the dance rather than worrying about how we looked or what step came next. She combined our two left feet into dancing feet, and the crowd went absolutely wild for us. I never expected a first dance to be a moment j would enjoy with my levels of anxiety but it was the best moment of the night thanks to the wedding dance coach! Highly reccomend!

a of a choreographed dance overwhelmed us at first, we gained an instant cheerleader in the owner, Elizabeth, the very first time I called and explained our crazy idea. From that moment I just knew we HAD to book the 10-class package and begin the process even though we had just a little over 12 weeks before the wedding. Because they have such a user-friendly booking system, it was very easy to book all 10 classes and find times that worked with both our work schedules, and overall crazy wedding planning schedule. Now, if you're reading this, you need to understand the extent of what we were asking of Wedding Dance Coach and their amazing instructors. We came to them with a specific song (Two of Hearts by Stacey Q), and asked them to choreograph a step-by-step dance for us. While most couples would be more than happy learning a few basic moves/steps and calling it good, we were asking for a lot more than that. And boy did they DELIVER!!!! We switched between both Melissa and Elisabeth who were both incredible. While Melissa nailed the overall structure of the dance, Elisabeth then came in and whipped out amazing moves that would leave my husband and I awe struck just because of how clearly she understood our vision. As we finished 8 classes, both instructors showed us so much support and grace as it wasn't always the easiest process to learn a dance in 10 weeks, especially in between bach parties and wedding planning. We then got to use the remaining two classes on a mother/son dance. The end product was what I would describe as the showstopper of our wedding day. Seeing and hearing how much joy that moment brought our closest friends and family was amazing. We even have little cousins still asking us if we could teach them the dance. I can't begin to explain how grateful we are to the team at Wedding Dance Coach for being so adventurous with us and giving us a memory we will treasure for the rest of our lives. If you are on the fence about booking, take this as your sign to do it! You won't regret it.

2 left feet, where I am an amateur dancer and LOVE to dance! She listened to our wants and helped create a beautiful dance with some fun moves thrown in for me, while keeping the base classically simple so that my hubby felt comfortable. We chose the 5-lesson "anti-middle school dance package" since we wanted a dance that wasn't overly choreographed so we could enjoy the moment together on our big day. Our song (Don't you Worry by Oh Wonder) is pretty slow, and in a strange time signature, but that didn't phase Elisabeth. She communicated her ideas and always talked through everything with us to make sure the dance was what we wanted. We had so much fun practicing our dance, and gave a flawless performance on our wedding day! ally any rhythm at all, I dreaded getting up in front of people and embarrassing myself. My wife knew this, and was smart/kind enough to book us five lessons with the Wedding Dance Coach. Melissa got us into a groove quickly and was an excellent teacher. She didn’t push anything outside of our comfort zone, but also taught us some dance moves that I never thought that I was capable of. My wife and I definitely won’t be winning any dance competitions in the future (my fault, not hers), but our first dance went great. Our guests were shocked at the work that went into the routine, and we definitely would not have been able to put on a show like that without Melissa’s coaching and encouragement. The first dance went from being the most terrifying part of the wedding, to arguably my favorite part of the whole weekend. If you are nervous, or just want to become a better dancer, I highly recommend going to the Wedding Dance Coach! Additionally, we had planned to do a much more complicated dance but due to an unfortunate incident involving a dirt bike and the ground we had to change plans. Melissa was very understanding and amenable to these last-minute changes and we are so grateful for that. Taking these lessons was one of the best decisions my wife and I could have made. Feeling comfortable on the dance floor gave us the opportunity to be one hundred percent in the moment and it was one of the biggest highlights of an already amazing day. We’ll definitely be back to learn new dances!

wanted a unique choreography that would move from ballroom dancing to faster dancing to disco-y vibes. We were partnered with Melissa for our dance and we LOVED working with her. Our first day was a bit frustrating because we both didn't know what the heck we were doing but Melissa was so consistent and patient with us she inspired us to go home and practice dilligently. Watching our progression over the weeks was astounding. She was able to teach us 3 entirely different styles of dance to incorporate into the song! We actually looked forward to our appointments with her. She had such a fun energy and was always so patient with us. Her teaching style made it such that learning from her was not intimidating. She listened to what we wanted and never tried to force her ideas on us...though honestly the ideas she provided to us were great and a lot of them really landed with us. On our wedding day we were so confident and we NAILED the dance. Our entire wedding erupted in cheering and clapping at the end. I'm literally tearing up right now remembering it. Melissa was so great we hope to return working with her to learn some fun new dance moves.

t dance with my groom (which was a simple but very choreographed dance). I've worked with 3 different teachers at this studio: Elizabeth, Troy, and Melissa. Elizabeth and Melissa were great to work with, but we mostly worked with Troy and Troy is amazing!!!! My husband (still weird to call him that, as we are only 2 weeks married haha) was nervous about dance lessons, but Troy was great at putting my groom at ease. We are not dancers, though we did do a handful of swing dance lessons a few years ago - and we were so delayed with planning everything for our wedding (we planned our whole 100 person wedding in 5 months) so we only started taking lessons for our first dance 2 weeks before our wedding. But in those 4 lessons, Troy was able to put together a really incredible choreographed dance for us, that we felt super confident and excited to show off at our reception.
