We recently worked with Kari of Wedding Day Chicago for our wedding coordination and it was some of the best money we spent on our entire wedding! From our initial call to submitting our marriage license after our wedding, Kari was so easy to work with and helped ease our stress. We had a smaller wedding of 60 people at Gibsons Italia and we started working with Kari about a month before our wedding. Right away Kari helped suggest a few vendors for our final needs, and started coordinating with our already decided vendors. Kari put together our detailed timeline, answered all of our and the other vendors' questions, and ensured everything ran smoothly. We had full trust in Kari and relied on her to ensure all of our vendors had everything they needed for our wedding day and her presence helped make our day so calm for us. She was very attentive throughout the entire process and her attention to detail on our wedding day was so appreciated. We did our own ceremony with one of our family members as a first time officiant, and Kari was so helpful in sharing her expertise on wedding officiating and helped ensure our ceremony went smoothly and was memorable. We hired Wedding day Chicago (Kari) to be our officiant & day of coordinator for our wedding - We couldn't recommend her enough to anyone who is getting married!! Officiant Service: Kari took the time to get to know us & ensure that we felt comfortable with every part of the ceremony. Outside of scheduled sessions, she continued to learn about our relationship through very thoughtful survey questions and follow-up questions about our relationship. She took all of our asks and incorporated the most special parts of our relationship into our big day. But I realized Kari was exceptional when the vendors and my family were commenting on how great working with Kari was. Kari officiated our wedding and ran the most beautiful ceremony! She has such a natural knack for this type of role. We hired Kari from Wedding Day Chicago as our wedding coordinator. She was always available to walk us through any questions we had throughout the wedding planning process. She set up a very detailed wedding day timeline and communicated these details with all of our vendors. On wedding day she made sure that everything went smooth and kept the flow of events going. I am not sure how to begin writing this review because I have too many good things to say about Kari! I will start by saying we absolutely would not have been able to have a successful wedding without her. She was our day-of coordinator for our November wedding and went above and beyond in supporting us! When our original venue went bankrupt in July, she calmed our nerves and made it clear she would do anything to help us find a new venue. She helped coordinate all of our vendors and even hopped on a very important call with our DJ. When my dress got covered in dirt during our first look, Kari helped my MOH scrub my dress until it was clean with an hour left until the ceremony started. During the wedding, Kari made sure everything ran smoothly and perfectly. It felt like we must have known Kari forever with how much care she showed us and our wedding. There's nobody better in the business and I couldn't recommend her more!

Kari with Wedding Day Chicago was absolutely wonderful! Kari was on top of every detail for our wedding. She communicated with our vendors and venue to coordinate all details (meals, set up/ pick up times, timelines, etc). Kari was always very responsive to any questions or needs we had. She helped remind us of anything she needed from us as well, which was very helpful! We couldn’t be more grateful to have her there with us on our wedding day! Kari made everything run so seamlessly. She met with us (the bridal party) at the hotel until we were ready to leave and coordinated vendors arriving (photog/video, floral, etc). She even had a back up itinerary and umbrellas for photo locations due to rain and it worked out wonderfully! Investing in Kari as our day-of coordinator was the absolute best decision we made for our wedding day. Kari was organized and always seemed to think of the most helpful questions to ask/get answered throughout the planning process; she was a consummate professional but had a demeanor that was also incredibly friendly and supportive (it almost seemed like we’d been friends for years instead of just having met)! I was so impressed with her willingness to go above and beyond—she helped make sure our officiant felt comfortable with his first-time gig, she coordinated with our DJ when our ceremony music had to be changed last minute, and she even offered to submit our marriage license for us. Those are just a few of the many examples of her doing everything possible to make our day perfect (which it was!). Her rate is incredibly reasonable as well. I did a lot of comparisons of costs/offerings of various Chicagoland coordinators, and Kari ranked highest for me right away as offering the most value/experience for an extremely reasonable price. Don’t hesitate to hire Kari; she is invaluable for a low stress, logistically coordinated and joy-filled day!

Kari performed a beautiful ceremony and perfectly incorporated our story to make her remarks personal and touching. From our first call with Kari to our texts after the wedding, we were blown away by her passion for officiating and thoughtfulness in her work. She managed to incorporate all of our asks - blending Jewish & Christian traditions, talking to our friends about us, and having a few readings sprinkled in too. I’m not sure how she managed to do it, but despite only knowing Kari for a few months via a couple of calls, the story she painted during the wedding made it sound like she’s known us for years! We continue to have friends and family tell us how perfect the ceremony was, and we owe a lot of that praise to Kari. Thanks for helping to make our day so special!

One of the last things we thought about was who would officiate our wedding. Truly though if we hadn’t had found Kari…. I’m not sure our ceremony would have gone as beautiful as it did! The second we spoke with Kari, we knew she would be the perfect choice for our small and nonreligious ceremony! She took everything we had to say and used it so beautifully while officiating! Kari took the pressure off of us saying the words and made it about us! I would recommend her 10/10 times.

So happy we found Kari! She has a heart of gold, and is wonderful at what she does! We had the most beautiful elopement at the Indiana Dunes. Kari had great recommendations for flowers, cake, etc., and made everything so easy by picking everything up and bringing it for us. Highly recommend her, the boho beach package, and the Dunes Park as a venue. Whatever you are looking for to make your day perfect, she has help and recommendations for!

Kari did an amazing job! We planned a small elopement in Lincoln Park, it was such a beautiful and special ceremony and was the BEST wedding day I could have ever asked for. Kari did a wonderful job and was very professional - we all really appreciated her work! My husband and I, as well as our family members who watched the ceremony were truly impressed. She made the entire process so simple and stress free!
