Peter Pluchino is the owner and artist behind this business. This award-winning painter honed his skills at Parson’s School of Design and the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Pete was a great addition to our wedding day! He arrived at the venue a little early to start painting the ceremony space. He knew we wanted either our first kiss or walking down the aisle as the painting so he took a few pictures for options. During the cocktail hour, he checked in with us to make sure we liked the photo he would be painting. It was so cool to watch the painting come to life throughout the night. We cannot wait to receive the final product!

Amazing amazing amazing job done by Pete! Simply beautiful and so meaningful toy my wife and I. He captured so many little details and we could not be happier. Not only was it great to have Pete at our wedding for guests to see the progress, but being able to take something home that not only was at the wedding itself but captured the feelings of the day, this is beyond meaningful to us. I am so unbelievably happy with our painting. Peter did an amazing job, and I am so beyond happy to have his beautiful painting hanging in our living room. Our guests absolutely loved seeing his painting come to life, and they were all blown away at how closely his painting resembled our faces. He was able to capture our first dance, and immediate family. When our flower girl ran over and asked to be a part of the painting, he changed it up to be able to include her and her family as well, which added the most special touch. I will truly treasure this painting forever, and I am still blown away at how much we all look like ourselves!
I so appreciated Peter’s attentiveness to detail. When he sent me the final painting, I asked for a few small changes. He happily made them and made sure the painting was exactly how I wanted it before we went to pick it up, which I so appreciated.
The entire experience was so amazing, and it was such a cool addition to have Peter painting our wedding day. Your guests will seriously be blown away, I know our’s were! Wow, wow, wow. Let me just start by saying that Pete is INCREDIBLY TALENTED. I mean, out of this world talent. I wanted an extra special keepsake from our wedding day, so I chose to hire Pete to paint our first dance so that we can hang it in our home and remember that first dance as husband and wife forever. Pete was very easy to work with, communicate with and plan with. Our guests absolutely loved that they could go up and talk to Pete/see how the painting was progressing throughout the night. Pete did a phenomenal job with our wedding painting! Communication was great throughout the entire process from day one until finally picking up our painting. I have four cockapoos that were only going to be there for the ceremony and although we were getting our first dance painted, he was able to add them into the painting for us! Guests were able to approach him and chat with him throughout the night and he was so nice. Once our painting was completed, he reached out to us and we set up a date and time to pick it up. He was SO kind and showed me around his studio and let me have a sneak peek at some of the other paintings he was working on/has completed. SUPER genuine and down to earth gentleman. If you are ever interested in getting a wedding painter or even having a portrait painting done, Pete will do a phenomenal job! Best part is he also accepts Venmo!

Peter was amazing! Run do not walk to hire him for your live wedding portrait! I chose him because his paintings look like photographs and he did not disappoint! The guests were awed by how accurate he portrayed our dance and we were speechless with how lifelike it was! Pete was fantastic! Our transaction from beginning to end was easy/straight forward. Our guests were extremely complementary of his work and the interactions they had with him during the reception. We actually hired him while speaking with him at someone else's wedding-- we were on the fence about having a painter but upon meeting Pete (and him having our date available) we knew it was a MUST. Most importantly, our painting is BEAUTIFUL. The people in the painting actually LOOK like themselves. Pete was great to work with on our wedding day! His communication was great before the actual day and on the day as well. He captured our first dance beautifully, painting in our family and friends. He attended to the small details as well, down to the lace on my wedding gown. He made sure to ask us who/what we wanted incorporated in the painting. This painter was hired for me as a gift for my wedding. While I was excited at the idea of someone painting my wedding live to capture the event as well as the aesthetic that it would provide, what I did not realize was the impact that the finished product would have on me. I can honestly say that it was life-like, brought my wedding day to life and I relived the most happy day of my life. It was beautiful and done to perfection.
My mother and sister hired Peter well in advance of my wedding date. They enjoyed his detail and organization. He was very specific on asking the right questions- what exactly we wanted painted, immediately responded to e-mails, phone calls, and was always helpful and professional.
I would recommend him without any hesitation. He's a STAR in my book. I would suggest that you do call him early as he already had dates on his calendar a year out. Don't wait!!!! It's so worth it!!!

I am absolutely speechless with how our painting turned out. Amazing is an UNDERSTATEMENT. I’m not even sure if I have enough words to describe it! I am in LOVE with the final product. Pete was able to capture our first dance perfectly with sentimental touches like our parents, siblings, bridal party, and little details from our venue. He captured all of our emotions PERFECTLY. I honestly get a little teary-eyed looking at the painting because it really brings me back to that exact moment on our wedding day. I cannot wait to have it hanging so I can look at it all the time!! I love it SO much!!! Everyone who saw Pete working on it during the wedding was so impressed. I got a few texts after the wedding asking to see the final product because they were so excited to see it!

Hiring a wedding day painter for our reception was mine and my husband’s “gift” to one another, and we are so happy we did. Having this unique touch to our wedding really made us so happy. We had one of Pete’s associates, Cat, at our wedding, who started the painting and then had Pete complete it. Our guests loved to see the progress of the painting, but seeing the final product really took my breath away. From the moment I started looking for a painter and came across Peter’s work, there was absolutely no other painter like him. His work looks like a photograph. Everything is so detailed and exact, it’s hard to believe it’s a painting! We picked up our final product within the timeframe Pete told us and we hung it up as soon as we got home. Working with Pete was amazing and we are so happy we found him. Cat is a doll and we were so happy to have her at our wedding as well! Pete the Wedding Day Painter was so wonderful to work with and we are so happy with the way our painting came out! Our guests loved peeking over his shoulder all night and it is the one item from the day that we can actually have on display forever. The best decision I made was hiring Pete to paint our first dance at our wedding! He is an incredible artist, words can not do his work justice. Our painting is absolutely breath taking. Guests at our wedding loved talking to Pete and watching him paint. Not only is this a unique addition to your wedding but this is a piece of art you will have forever!! Great experience! They had availability on very short notice, communicated to me in a very clear and quick manner, and were able to get the painting mailed to me within a couple weeks of the wedding. It was also an amazing addition to the wedding, with many of my guests watching him paint throughout the reception. I had plenty of guests come up to me asking questions and most importantly, my wife loves it!

Leading up to the wedding he was very responsive with our emails as well as phone calls while listening to what we would like to have captured on our big day. And let me tell you he delivered!! Our guests were very entertained and amazed by his talent during the reception of our wedding. His final work captured my husband dipping me during our first dance with our loved ones surrounding us. I contacted Pete to have a painting made after my daughter's wedding as I discovered him after the wedding had taken place. He went way above and beyond in providing a delightful experience of capturing the joy of the wedding day. He helped me choose photos as a basis for two paintings of the wedding. I only wish that I had known of him and his work so I could have had him attend the wedding to take his own photos from which to paint. He was flexible in using our photographer's work even though in most cases he shoots his own photos. He made the most of what he had to work with. He is professional and very talented. This was the BEST decision my husband and I made for our wedding. Peter did an amazing job capturing the moment we said I do. All of my guest came up to saying how amazing it was to have a painter and to have him stay the whole night for everyone to watch do his amazing work. Peter, I cannot thank you enough for this amazing work of art I have in my home.

When I suggested having a live painter at our wedding my fiancé at the time, wasn’t really into the idea. Finally after many long conversations and a-lot of research I came across Pete. His work was amazing and I knew I couldn’t give up on this special opportunity. Our painting is beautiful it captures our first dace with our parents and bridal party around us. Pete is so easy to work with, and our painting was completed right on time. If you are thinking of having Pete paint at your wedding, Do it! You will not regret. We just got our painting framed, and I can’t wait to hang it up!

BRIDES LOOK NO FURTHER! Such an incredible experience! Peter and his team were incredibly professional and provided the most beautiful detailed painting of our first dance with our bridal party and parents. He is responsive and willing to make any edits needed before finalizing. Highly recommend!!

An incredible, once in a lifetime interactive element for an event! My then-fiancé was not thrilled that I booked Pete and gave me some grief. After seeing literally everyone that attended our wedding at some point in the night go up to Pete to chat and see the painting, and all the comments we got about him, he looked at me at the end of the night and told me I was right! Pete is amazing and a professional. We cannot recommend him enough!

Pete was great to work with and did an outstanding job capturing our event. He pays very close attention to detail and deeply cares about his work. Having him at our wedding was a special touch, which guests really enjoyed. We requested to have our mothers incorporated into the painting, who recently passed. This was extra special and I'm so glad we have this beautiful keepsake/momento from our wedding. Worth doing 100%!

I could not be happier that my husband and I decided to add a live wedding painter to our wedding this past October at the last minute. Peter was extremely responsive and professional. We could not be happier with how our painting of our first dance turned out and it is a keepsake we will cherish forever. It is an excellent addition as a source of entertainment for wedding guests as well as some of our guests are still talking about how cool it was to watch someone paint us. Thank you Peter for making our wedding day that much more special.

I hired Peter Pluchino to paint a portrait at our daughter's wedding. He beautifully painted their first dance. He really captured this beautiful moment with such precise and elegance. He was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend him for any occasion. Our guests really enjoyed watching him at work. His presence just added to an already amazing day!

Great job all around! My only suggestion for others is to make sure you specify if you want specific/particular guests in the painting in advance so that he knows and makes it even more memorable. Very satisfied!

When planning my wedding I knew I wanted to have extra little touch to make my special day even more memorable. I went online and discovered Peter of Wedding Day Painter and immediately contacted him after seeing his work. I wanted to know how the process worked and what would my painting look like in the end. Peter was very prompt with replies and explained everything very clearly. The day of my wedding I actually never got to meet Peter , but had heard from everyone how neat it was to have someone live paint the wedding. After a couple of weeks the painting was finally done. I was nervous to see the final piece would look like and to see what part of the wedding would be depicted. As soon as I got the picture from Peter , I was in awe of how beautiful it turned out! He painted all the details of my wedding that I worked so hard to plan from the wedding dress, to the floral decorations, he didn't miss a single detail! I also loved how my family members were part of the painting and how realistic everyone was depicted. My husband and I cannot wait to frame our painting to everyone to see. Having Peter live paint our wedding was one of the best decisions I made! Can't stop looking at our painting!

Life is made up of fleeting, special moments. Peter captures these moments, so it can be experienced over, and over again. His talent leaves me breathless, as he brilliantly and soulfully portrays the most precious moments of our lives. Kind, punctual and professional, I can’t imagine doing a wedding, christening or any momentous occasion without Pete Pluchino!

Pete was fantastic to work with! From start to finish he made everything so easy. Guests were amazed with work and it was so fun to watch him during the reception. The final piece is spectacular and it one of the best decisions we have ever made!
