Wedding Dreams by Linda

We used Grant's for food service and decorations. They place did look beautiful but it had its faults. The table linens are NOT ironed. This is the main decoration for a wedding!! The lights went out on the dance floor and no one fixed them. The main decoration on our head table came unraveled the moment we sat down. The food was okay but we paid for all china and unless you read closely you don'y get all china! They also lack in customer service. When I told them my concerns they simple laughed in my face and blamed it on their other vendors. The only real potato product on menu is the red skins. They charge a flat rate of 1500 for decorations (which is pretty much simple centerpieces with no real flowers, and table linens only) but then nickel and dime you for everything on top of that. They use to be great but unfortunately not what it used to be. We have seen a huge difference since Linda's passing.

Grants catering is amazing. Linda met with us individually 2 times to help us pick out our food, decorations and flowers. They bring beautiful pictures to help you decide what you want, and we were able to go to their bridal show and taste test all their food to decide what we want. We got a lot of complements on the food. They brought a wrong flavor of pie,but they apologized profusely for the error. The decorations they did were wonderful, and it made the day before the wedding and planning 10x earlier. The flowers they provided were beautiful. They also packed up the extra food for us and stayed all night. Highly recommended!

Linda (the owner) is absolutely AMAZING. She fits to any budget and will make your wildest dreams come true. She transformed my reception hall into a gorgeous backdrop for our wedding. They were willing to bend over backwards to do whatever you want however you want. They did my catering, decor, and flowers, and EVERYTHING was PERFECT. She is SO reasonably priced, and everyone who worked for her was so kind. I highly recommend her.

I had very mixed feelings about Grant's. First, the food was delicious. Everything tasted and looked great. They also put white fabric around the perimeter of our reception. It made it look so nice. However, there was a miscommunication about when that fabric was going to be put up. Linda's assistant fixed everything right away, but the staff that came to put it up seemed a little annoyed to be there and they did not speak to me at all. I didn't even get to talk to them before I realized they had left (the day before the wedding). The day of the wedding...they did a great job putting the final touches on our centerpieces (lighting candles etc.) However, when we were ready to cut the cake, there were no plates to put it on. We had to stand there while a member of the staff had to dig in a box under the table then run back to the kitchen to get us something to put our cake on while everyone stood waiting. They also did not take out their own trash. They left it for us to take to the dumpster. I had to carry their trash to the dumpster while still in my wedding dress in order to get my deposit on the hall. They also did not mop the kitchen area, and again, my family had to clean up after them. Finally, they ran out of ice. Instead of sending a staff member to go get more, they made my mom find someone to go buy ice with her own money. Didn't I pay them enough to get ice?!??! Again, the food was great, but many other complaints!!
