Vassa is AMAZING!!! Vassa helped me to achieve the wedding dress of my dreams. It was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined – I didn’t want to take it off at the end of the night. Vassa truly has a gift for what she does. She has an incredible eye for the details, and she made my wedding dress look and fit absolutely perfectly. Her service is outstanding –she was extremely flexible and accommodating with her schedule. And it’s such a personal experience in her store with only one appointment at a time – she truly makes every one of her brides feel special. I can’t thank Vassa enough for her patience, guidance and expertise – she is the best!

I am so glad that I found Vassa and got my wedding dress at the Wedding Dresser Couture! My wedding was a little over a month ago now, and while I'm glad the planning is over - one thing I will miss is all the appointments I had with Vassa leading up to the big day. From the first dress shopping experience, Vassa made me feel special and truly like a one-of-a-kind bride! She was patient as I scrutinized every detail of every dress, and she encouraged me to take my time and look at all angles through all possible mirrors. I said YES! to my dress at Wedding Dresser Couture by Vassa. She is absolutely amazing at what she does. I was very anxious at my appointment and she picked up on it immediately. She made sure to make me feel comfortable, listened to everything I asked for, stayed in my budget, and did not pressure me at all. She did all of this while giving me the total ‘Bridal Experience’ (private appointment in salon, wine, family/friends can come with you) and without feeling like you HAVE to go Kleinfeld's. Vassa is extremely talented with a gorgeous selection of dresses. Vassa knew my dress was THE dress before I did… she really knows people and her collection of dresses. She also altered my dress perfectly. If you are looking for your dream dress and your own bridal moment, I highly recommend Vassa! She is a true gem.

WOW! WOW! WOW! I was so nervous to begin dress shopping because I didn’t know what I wanted. I heard about Vassa from a family friend and It sounded like the place I wanted to start my search. From the second I met Vassa, I knew I wanted to find a dress with her. Our appointment was private and intimate. It was just me, her, and my mom. She was so warm, kind, and bubbly. She is a truly master at her craft. Vassa spoke to me (like we were lifelong friends) while picking out different dresses for me to try on. Each dress I tried on, she read my body language and listened to my feedback. I tried on about ten dresses and she told me she saved the best for last. I put the dress on and I knew immediately. I felt like myself, but most of all I felt like a bride. Vassa encouraged me to keep shopping and if I was still thinking about the dress to call her. I went to two more stores and very quickly called Vassa and asked to come back. Vassa was not pushy and just wanted me to be happy. I went back and Vassa encouraged me to try on a few more dresses because she wanted me to be sure. I put my dress again and I was beyond sure! Vassa did all of the alterations herself. She takes pride in her work and has you come for several fittings until a few days before your wedding day so your dress is perfect for your body. My dress could not have fit me better. All of my cousins are asking if it could be a hand - me- down. Vassa gives you information on what to do with your dress after. She covers all the bases. On top of being an expert in her craft, she manages to keep you calm and feel like you are the most important bride in the world. I couldn’t be happier that I found my dress with her. Finding my wedding dress and working with Vassa was my favorite part of wedding planning! She found the perfect dress for me and made me feel beautiful and special for my big day. She clearly takes pride in her work and that shows in her fantastic products. The dress fit perfectly and was so fun to wear and show off!

I knew I wanted an Enzoani gown and tried a few places before stumbling upon Vassa. I told her what I wanted and at our first appointment we walked into the fitting room and saw my dress hanging and knew it was the one! She felt like family at every fitting and made me feel so comfortable. She truly has a gift for she does! Vassa was a pleasure to work with, so accommodating and professional. Working with Vassa was the absolute best. She is so sweet, accommodating and professional. She gives every bride their own time for a personalized experience and really listens to her clients. The store has a well-curated collection of beautiful gowns. Vassa gave me a selection of every type of style I had in mind and more, and when I was undecided between two she let me leave for a few hours to think about it and come back to try them both on again that night. Vassa is amazing! She helped me find the perfect dress after months of searching and after trying on over 20 dresses. She was patient, kind, and helpful. She guided me throughout the process and was there every step of the way. I truly appreciate her! I will never forget this experience. I lost my Mom one year before my engagement. Walking into Wedding Dresser Couture with my team of aunts, sister and friends, I was really stuck on missing my mom, and what she would like and what she would think. Vassa and I grew up in the same neighborhood, and she immediately made me feel "at home" in her shop, even at a price point of $2k or under. Now I know that she must be like that for everyone, just a kind, thoughtful, genius at her craft. While I thought I wanted to tuck myself away in a ball gown or a-line dress, Vassa pulled a fit and flare first, and said just try it on. I tried on other dresses after that, including at other shops, but came back to the very first one. Vassa doesn't just look at your body in a dress. She looks at the face you make in the dress. At the feelings you have. How you move and how you walk. And when her face matches your face - some kind of awe and joy - you have your dress. And each time, at every fitting, Vassa made sure that I still felt the same in the mirror. I thought this would be the hardest part, without my mom, and it wasn't. I will be forever grateful for Vassa's advice, kindness, organization, communication and exquisite expertise in dressing brides. I would recommend her to any bride anywhere.

I knew I wanted to get my dress from Vassa even before I met her. I heard great things about her through friends and Facebook. Working with Vassa was the best experience I can imagine. I wasn't crazy about any of the dresses she had but she was willing to order me a sample of a dress that I was eyeing for awhile by a brand that she carries (Enzoani). Of course I loved the dress and it was the one but as a backup she did order me other styles that were similar to that dress. Seriously don't go anywhere else. Vassa is worth it!

Vassa is amazing! She’s works with you one and one and makes sure you are happy. She’s such a pleasure to deal with and she was one vendor I actually looked forward to seeing. I truly will never find enough words to describe my amazing experience with Vassa at Wedding Dresser Couture. Vassa is truly an angel! She welcomes you into her store with arms wide open making you feel so comfortable. My first stop searching for a wedding dress was with Vassa and I never looked anywhere else. The first appointment she sat with me getting to know me, my style and a feel for my pinterest likes. Going off of what I had explained to her and showing her my ideas of what I thought I would feel comfortable in she starting pulling dresses in all different styles. When you meet Vassa, she seems to instantly understand your style and preferences, like a close friend. It sounds totally weird, but I assure you that it really happened! She makes you feel like a princess every time you are in her store. Her warm, bubbly personality is contagious, and she makes it such a positive experience, from start to finish. I had visited 6 other stores first, and was so glad that I ended up working with Vassa. Not only does she have a vast selection of more gorgeous gowns than you will find elsewhere, but she never pressures you with her opinions. I went back three times before deciding on my dress, at which point we celebrated with wine and a small photo shoot! At my fittings, I felt confident that Vassa knew what she was doing, and she's truly a perfectionist - In addition to pinning my dress, she took photos on her phone of each little detail so she would know how to fix it perfectly. And, all her meticulous work paid off. Guests at my wedding kept telling me that my dress was the most gorgeous one they've ever seen! I'm already crossing my fingers that friends will want to come back to Vassa for their dresses, so I can accompany them!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Vassa. From the first time I met her trying on dresses, she made me feel like we’ve known each other forever and made me feel so comfortable in a situation I was very self conscious about (trying on wedding dresses). She made me feel like the most beautiful bride. My mother also got her MOB dress from Vassa and both of our dresses came out AMAZING! Vassa’s attention to detail is like no other. Vassa is AMAZING!! She closes down her store so you are the only bride there, every time you meet with her. I gave her a vague idea of my likes and dislikes and fell in love with the 2nd dress she gave me to try on. It was truly a princess dress and she made sure it fit me perfectly. Vassa was able to look at me, look at the dress and know exactly how it should fit and be altered. She was so helpful, especially during the last few weeks when there are a number of fittings. She was able to accommodate my busy schedule and was such a pleasure to work with. I am so glad I got my dress here and would recommend everyone to meet with Vassa!!

Vassa was recommended by a friend who referred to her wedding day services as "a total game changer." My husband wanted a wedding more than I did, and I shared this with Vassa, also telling her that I was not the bridal type. Vassa quickly changed my opinion and made me feel beautiful every time I walked into her shop. Vassa did not show me anything out of my price range, and let me discover my dream dress without allowing me to be influenced by the opinion of others. She showed me the difference in my behavior when I tried on the dress I chose, versus others. I am definitely more of an off beat bride, wearing sneakers for my reception and cowboy boots for my ceremony. Vassa shared that she loved this, and helped me pick out jewelry that wasn't typically bridal, but made me feel comfortable being myself. I had a few out of town bridemaids who I really wanted to see me in my dress. She accommodated this and always made me feel at ease. Walking into her shop, being greeted with a hug and yummy wine was everything I needed during this very stressful time. I was nervous during fittings because I was traveling to Spain before my wedding, but Vassa always making me feel beautiful encouraged me to enjoy myself and not think about dress fittings, or my wedding while I was away. Hiring her was the best decision I made regarding my wedding. You are going to spend so much money on things you won't remember. Budget for Vassa. Her time with you getting ready was beyond words. She made sure I ate and drank all day. She told me that my hair clip needed to be fixed. Reminded me who to take pictures with. Asked me if I wanted to tell my photographer to take any more pictures. Made sure I liked my make up. Helped me put on deodorant in a way that wouldn't give me any residue! You may not think you need such a service the day of your wedding, and even with nine bridesmaids, there is no one who is going to think about your wedding day needs like Vassa. I remember the stress some friends had the day of their weddings with bustles, and taking care of the dress in transport. Vassa brings you the dress, and sews your bustle after you walk down the aisle. She steamed bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen attire that needed it that day. After my photos, she pointed out the way my husband looks at me. Who doesn't need that type of comment during their wedding day?! She is a saint. I miss going in for fittings! Her positive attitude, smiles and reassurance were the game changer my friend talked about. I didn't want her to leave.

There is no way to put into words the experience that I had with Vassa. You walk into her shop and feel like as though you are part of her family. The one on one experience allows for Vassa to get to know you and your style. She is warm, caring and most importantly amazing at her job. She listened to my vision and helped me find the perfect dress for me. At no point did I feel pressured or stressed by this process. Working with Vassa was an absolute pleasure. Each experience was organized, professional, personal and fun! She closes her shop for each appointment so you never feel insecure with crowds and noise around you. I had a total of four fittings, including the week of my wedding which helped guarantee the dress fit exactly to my body. After going to several other stores, a friend recommended Vassa -- thank goodness! From the moment I walked into her store and literally found my dress in the window (first dress I tried on), Vassa treated my family, myself, and the entire experience professionally and made it fun! I don't write reviews often, but the service and care that Vassa delivers certainly calls for one. From the moment I walked into my first appointment with Vassa, I had the most personal and unique experience in her boutique! I'm very indecisive and she was extremely patient and flexible with me. I'm beyond thrilled to have worked with her in finding my dream wedding gown. Not only did Vassa make the in-store experience special, but she held everything together the day of my wedding. Having her there as my dresser was the best decision I ever made and I honestly don't know what I would have done without her that day - she made wonderful suggestions (aside from handling the dress) along the way. I'm so thankful that my friend recommended me to her and I would say look no further to any other bride-to-be. I can't thank her enough!

After searching for my perfect wedding dress at multiple stores a friend suggested that I go to Wedding Dresser Couture. From the beginning Vassa went above and beyond helping me find my perfect dress. Her personalization and attention to detail far exceed any other store I visited. I knew I never had to worry about anything with Vassa. She made sure that all of fittings were scheduled well in advance and she kept me informed when my dress, veil and head piece were going to arrive. Let me start by saying that this was one of the best decisions I made out of all of my wedding planning. I was recommended by a friend to visit Vassa to find my dress, and thank goodness I did! The day of my appointment I arrived with my two sisters and niece to help me find the dress of my dreams. I tried on many dresses that day and left torn between the first dress I had put on and another that was out of my comfort zone. A few weeks later I went back with my mom to get her opinion on which dress she liked better. To my surprise when I walked out in the dress I had been dreaming about for weeks (out of comfort zone dress) I stood there watching tears fall down my mothers face commenting on how beautiful I looked and that this was a wow dress! Right then and there I knew it was the perfect dress for me and Vassa gave me that extra confidence boost I needed that I would be able to pull this dress off. You are totally one on one with Vassa and you never feel rushed when you go in there. She makes you feel like the two of you have been friends for years. She is extremely accommodating as well. My 97 year old grandmother was unable to attend to my wedding but came up for my bridal shower weekend from Florida. I called Vassa to see if I could do a quick appointment for my grandmother to see me in my dress. She was able to fit me in on such short notice and we did the whole show for my grandmother with the veil, shoes, and all! She still talks about it to this day and says that it's one of her favorite memories. Not only do I recommend Vassa to purchase your dress from but if you need a day of dresser then I suggest booking her sooner rather than later! I got married in NYC, and Vassa brought my dress to my hotel room, got me dressed, helped my sisters, and mom get dressed, steamed our dresses, and did so much more! My family and I were so happy with her service and absolutely loved her! She helped me with my dress all throughout my pictures, she was extremely attentive and I don't know what I would have done if she was not there. Vassa is very professional and I completely trust her and would recommend her to anyone! You get 5 star one on one treatment that you do not get anywhere else. Anyone would appreciate that! You will not be sorry if you make an appointment there to look for your dream dress!

Words cannot even express how amazing Vassa is. I went to the big bridal salons in NYC before tracking down "the dress" at Wedding Dresser Couture. From the moment I stepped in, Vassa made the experience so personal and amazing. Everything with her was so easy, and she works around your schedule. She makes you feel so special. Vassa really takes care of every little detail, leaving you with absolutely nothing to worry about. Even the bustle that she created for my dress was perfect, and the bridal attendant at my venue said that she had never seen a bustle that was so easy to figure out. My dress was perfect on my wedding day, and I will forever be in love with it. Vassa is amazing, and I would recommend her to every single bride that I know!

First off as my life has shown me, everything happens for a reason. I went to one prior bridal salon which was great but I didn't find that "It" dress. I actually was recommended this bridal salon by the receptionist at the doctors office I was getting an emergency root canal! And thank goodness for that root canal! First off what a bridal experience. Vassa had one appointment at a time. Which means you are the main focus and u can have an intimate time with your family and friends. Second she is gifted. The First dress she put me in, was "The Dress!!!" Holy moly when I stepped out in this dress my mother who had no other expression on every other dress I tried on says "wow!" And she was flexible o the price! Which gave me the option to do a dream of mine. Have a reception dress! I went back a second time and found my reception dress again. She was not pushy and so comforting in the entire process. She treats you like a queen. Future Brides Go here! You have nothing to lose!

This salon is beautiful and makes for an incredible dress shopping experience. I was unsure what I was looking for and had a lot of opinionated guests with me. Vassa was extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. She reminded me to focus on what I wanted to look like as a bride and that helped to shape the rest of my appointment. I said yes to the most beautiful dress and couldn't be happier! But, I couldn't have done it without her remarkable assistant and her amazing salon!

Vassa was the first and last place that I looked for my dress. Vassa truly makes finding your dress a memorable experience. I love Vassa! She made me feel comfortable with the entire "wedding dress process" as soon as I first walked into her salon. I am so glad that one of my friends (who got her dress from Vassa) sent me to her shop. Vassa was so helpful and not pushy at any point of the process. From the moment I walked in I felt like I was Vassa’s #1 priority. Since all appointments are private appointments I had Vassa’s undivided attention, and she was knowledgeable, patient, sweet and funny-really just wonderful all around. She truly listened to what I had to say and did not pressure me or rush me as other stores had. When I went back a 2nd time to try on the dress I had liked I felt extremely comfortable saying yes to the dress! From then on everything went as smooth as could be. My dress and veil arrived on time and I actually enjoyed every fitting appointment. Vassa’s professionalism and attention to detail not only made me extremely confident, but extremely excited as well. I knew my dress would fit perfectly, and sure enough it did. Vassa is AMAZING! and so is her bridal salon. She gives you the absolute most personal attention a bride can ask for. I personally am not a big store type of person, so when I was recommended to Vassa and found that you have an appointment where the store is all to you (and whom ever you want to bring), I made an appointment. We gave Vassa our budget and she stuck to it. She helped me in and out of every dress and carefully placed each dress back on the hangers. She cares about all her clients and all of her dresses. Another thing I appreciated, was that she listened to what I was saying. At other wedding shops I would tell the bridal consultants " I don't like this dress because ... " but then 5 minutes later they would hand me another dress with the same reason I didn't like the one before it. Vassa never did this. She knows all of her dresses and was able to pick and sort through them based on my requests. Vassa is also very accommodating. I ended up picking my dress up on a day that she was closed, but she came into the shop just so that I could pick my dress up. I absolutely am in love with my dress and the way that it fit. I had three dress fittings and each time she made me dance around in it, walk around and sit. She wanted to make sure I was comfortable, and I definitely was!

Vassa was amazing to work with. She walked you through everything she was going to change after every fitting so you would be prepared the next time you came in. The dresses she sells are exquisite and her alterations were amazing.
