Wedding hair by Charlotte

Charlotte took care of me for my wedding day, and then she brought 2 of her assistants with her to help with my 9 bridesmaids! I could not have been more in love with my up-do. I had a trial run with her a few months before the wedding, and I told her I wanted to tweak it just a little bit. I showed her a few pictures, and what she came up with was that and so much more! It was a really windy day at the beach, and my hair stayed up all night, but it was still soft and romantic (which is what i wanted) My bridesmaids hair looked wonderful too. Charlotte also did my make-up for the wedding which i LOVED. I didn't want too much make up, but I also knew you needed to have more than usual for it to show up nicely in pictures - what she did was perfect for me. It was light and didnt feel heavy at all -- which is nice because it was an outside beach wedding. I would recommend Charlotte and her team to anyone in a heart beat!!!

I was fortunate enough to have Lauren Fetter do my hair and makeup for both my bridal portrait and wedding day looks. She is simply fabulous and made me look absolutely beautiful! If I lived in Charleston, I'd be one of her regular customers. She's incredibly professional and punctual, as well as flexible. She was able to adjust her schedule to accommodate a last minute weather-related schedule change for my bridal portrait without batting an eye. She is so fun & made the wedding day so relaxed for all of us. I cannot say enough good things about her!!

Lauren was awesome! I got so many compliments on my hair for the wedding. She was very comfortable to work with and did just what I asked. I would highly recommend!

Meg came to our hotel room to do our hair and makeup. That right off the bat helps with comfort levels. She did such an amazing job, and did exactly what I wanted based off pictures I showed her on my iPhone! Loved them and really loved Meg! She was fun and enjoyed having her with us.

Kelli came to the hotel to do my hair along with bridesmaids' hair and we were SO pleased. I had a bad hair trial the week before the wedding with another vendor and was so fortunate to find Wedding Hair by Charlotte... and they were super flexible on short notice. My trial with them was great and my hair turned out to be exactly what I wanted on my day. Kelli was able to keep to a similar style for the bridesmaids but with variety in each one. She was so much fun and made us so comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend Kelli and Wedding Hair by Charlotte to any bride. I chose them based on reviews and was so pleased to find that all of the great reviews proved true. Make your hair decision easy and choose these girls! It took so much stress off of me to have Kelli come to the hotel.. and the prices were so much less than I expected for onsite. Seriously... if you're downtown, it's the same or LESS than a comparable other salon. And no travel involved.. this left much more time for relaxing and drinking bubbly with the girls.

Natalie did my trial run and wedding day hair -- both were done at Charlotte's Elysium Salon. Natalie was wonderful and very easy to work with. Two of my bridesmaid did their updos with her as well, and were equally pleased. My hair looked beautiful throughout the ceremony and reception, and it stayed put through hours and hours of dancing and sweating. I highly recommend Natalie to any bride!

I had a trial with Charlotte the day before the wedding and she understood after seeing 2 pictures exactly what my vision was and produced! My hair was perfect- it didn't fall out of place and was exactly what I envisioned. My bridesmaids hair looked wonderful too. One of my bridesmaids has natural hair and I've never seen her hair look SO good!!! She was wonderful.

Charlotte was a joy to work with. She was very prompt at replying to communications and not at all pushy. I had my trial run in her salon, and she was very happy to help me tweak the style to just what I imagined. She comes to location (without charging an astronomical amount like the other quotes I had) and she was very laid back. She styled my hair and both of my bridesmaids’ hair. We had an outdoor harbor side ceremony with high winds and intermittent showers (at the off times luckily) and all of our hair stayed in place perfectly. We even did outdoor photos at Waterfront Park and our hair still held up!

Not only was Charlotte so nice and easy to work with she does amazing hair! I got married on a super windy day and my hair didn't move, but at the same time was romantic and soft! Charlotte came to us to do my entire wedding party's hair and it made the day so much easier!
