He made us both feel very comfortable, instantly and joined in our celebrations with a warmth that made it feel like it was more like having a friend at our wedding than a stranger officiating. We had a beautiful day which Steven helped to make happen! We would recommend him to everyone!

The Hudson River is right there and the architecture on the Upper West Side is impressive. It was a great day to get married. It's now our 7th anniversary, and the time has gone by in a flash. Rabbi Steve made our day perfect, memorable, and exactly what we wanted. Rabbi Steve usually performs much larger and more traditional weddings, but he was wonderfully accommodating to us. We couldn't have been happier that day and we're happy together still. Thanks Rabbi Steve!

He helped us find a photographer and on the morning of the wedding met us and our small wedding party. He talked to us about our lives so he could incorporate it into the ceremony. I felt as if he had known us for a long time while he performed our wedding. It was a wonderful day, one we’ll never forget.

That is really important when you are trying to arrange things from a distance. When we met him he was brilliant. We felt really at ease with him and he did a wonderful and memorable service for us, taking into account all our wishes. 5 years later we are still happily married but if we were going to do it all over again we would choose Rabbi Steve again, no question!

When the ceremony finished there was applause from all the people that had stopped to watch and my partner (now wife) asked how long had they been there, all the time I remarked. What a day and we have Steve to thank in most part for that. Oh yes and we had a saxaphone player who was busking at one end of the bridge but played some really chilled out tunes that felt like it was part of the ceremony. Can't guarantee the sax player but I can certainly recommend Steve Blane and Central Park for a wedding ceremony. Bliss

did we know, friends and family decided they wanted to be a part of our special day. With that being said, we knew we needed to have an “official” ceremony. Where to begin? For starters, we live 1,400 miles away so we it’s not like we knew anyone who could make a recommendation. Turning to the internet for options was a scary thought but it’s all we had. After spending some time looking at different wedding officiants we came across Rabbi Blane who was open to performing various types of wedding ceremonies so we took a chance. After introductory emails, our minds were at ease. Rabbi Blane went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable with the ceremony he would perform. Once that was out of the way we then needed to figure out where this was going to take place. We ultimately decided on Central Park and he was more than willing to make that happen for us. A bit of advice for anyone wanting to get married and not have all eyes on you…Central Park is not the place! We met with Rabbi Blane shortly before the ceremony. It was like we had known him for years. He was friendly, accommodating, and funny! The ceremony was quick and painless, exactly how we wanted it. We could not have asked for a better wedding officiant! I would highly recommend Rabbi Blane. We just celebrated our 4 year anniversary.

We only met face to face when the ceremony was about to start but he made us feel like he had known us all our lives. My wife literally had tears of joy throughout the entire wonderful experience. US to France we had resigned to a registry office wedding (aweful!). A friend directed me to Steve on Friday, we were married on Monday afternoon, on the Bow Bridge on NY with friends and family and I flew to Paris on Tuesday. We had the wedding many would only dream of! Thanks Steve, we have a beautiful 3 year old daughter now.

On our wedding day Steve was there waiting for us and the groom and our guests all chatted waiting for me to arrive which unfortunately I was an hour late. Steve was absolutely fine and didn’t even mention it. After the ceremony which he did wonderfully, he stayed for photos and chatted with us all before departing.
