Wedding In Paradise

Jill from Wedding in Paradise was the best choice we could have made for planning our destination wedding. When we first decided to have a destination wedding, I was trying to make arrangements on my own. Finally I had to admit that I needed help, and Jill came as a recommendation to me from an acquaintance who used to do floral arrangements for weddings and the resorts on Kauai. From the first, free phone consultation, I immediately felt at ease. Jill has years of experience planning weddings all over the island, and she had the answers to all of my questions. We met with Jill as soon as we arrived on the island, and she had taken care of everything. It was really convenient that Jill was able to sign off on our marriage license rather than having to go to a government office. As our wedding day unfolded, there were so many things that Jill did in the background without our knowledge to keep everything smooth and carefree for us. While we couldn’t have done it without the planning in the months prior to the wedding, I felt that the biggest asset of all was having Jill supporting us on our wedding day. We can’t say enough great things about our experience with Jill, and we would recommend her services to anyone planning a wedding on Kauai. Some general advice: One thing we learned through our experience of planning the wedding, and some advice to pass on to other “mainlanders” planning a wedding on Kauai, is that the way of life is VERY laid back on the island. We didn’t fully understand this until we go to Kauai and embraced the island mentality ourselves. You may feel anxious about arranging details of the wedding (after all, this is your one and only big day!), but don’t expect everyone you work with to have that same hurried mentality.

We were married last year at Kauai Beach Resort with the help of Jill at Wedding In Paradise Kauai. The wedding was spectacular and several of our guests stated it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Jill made all our ideas and dreams a reality, something that I didn't think was possible. She managed to find creative solutions and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I couldn't imagine planning my wedding without her help, guidance and expertise "Hawaiian Style"! She really made the process easy and the day completely stress free for us and our entire wedding party. We are both so happy that we could start our life together in such a perfect way. Now that a year has passed, this note is long over due - but we really wanted to express our gratitude to her and her vendors. Mahalo Jill

;She did not return my phone calls, I flew everyone over to Hawaii and I had no idea if I really was going to get married. The hotel recommended this individual and asked how happy I was with her and I told them how I was extremely upset. Next thing I know the wedding planner finally calls me back.
