We loved that she customized the entire ceremony to make it very personal for us. She was so kind and professional throughout the entire process. We cannot recommend her enough!

Margaret can definitely write up a beautiful ceremony, BUTā¦ my wedding party, myself, my husband and family members could be less than impressed with her attitude. Margaret made my wedding feel like it was all about her. She made rude comments about one of my bridesmaids weight, threw a fit when she found out we didnāt get her a corsage (I didnāt even think about it/forgot), and had many episodes of just pure attitude. She was very concerned about how she looked in every picture, which made taking pictures a lengthy process. She took my flower girlās floral crown and wore it herself. She is very bossy and rude when things donāt go the way she thinks they should. I am always a go with the flow, not much can phase me kind of person. It still makes me sick to think about her behavior even months after getting married. I just want to save another bride from going through what I did.

In response to your accusations, I would...
like to provide you with some facts. I myself am a good 50 lbs overweight, and the idea that I would mention another person's weight issues is absurd. That would be the pot calling the kettle black.
The darling flowergirl hated her flower crown, it was way too large for her. As her mother struggled to convince her to wear it, I tried to help convince her it was cute. She refused to wear it, so I said I would, to show her it wasn't all that bad. So I wore it for about 10 minutes and snapped some photos with it on my head. Then I gave it back to her, she did wear it when she walked down the aisle doing her Flowergirl duties with pizazz.
As for the flower boutonniere, I never expect to be provided with one. In the 350+ ceremonies I have performed, I have been given less then a dozen little corsages. It is not on the majority of the brides' radar. When there was an extra one, I got excited and asked your personal helper if maybe I could wear it since it wasn't going to be utilized. She said no, she didn't think you would approve. Ok, I can live with that!
Yes, I did provide direction at the rehearsal and the day of, that's my responsibility. I tell the wedding party what to do at what time. Yes, that comes off as being a boss.
Let me remind you of what I did to help. At Route 65 for the rehearsal dinner, when they didn't have the reservation for 25 ppl, I helped the manager push tables together, bussed the dirty ones, moved chars, and then took everyone's drink order because the wait staff was swamped.
Then read the order to the bartender so he could punch them into the computer.
Before the ceremony I gave your groom a heart shaped crystal to have in his pocket during the ceremony, and to keep forever & ever to remind him of his vows. After the ceremony, I gave the flowergirl & little boy each $2 bills to keep to remember the event.
I apologize for for your displeasure by my actions. It certainly is not my intention to " ruin" a brides's day, it is the opposite! You were happy when I left and thanked me for all my help.
I pray that your bad memories fade with time, and you focus on what went well.

Margaret was a true pleasure to work with during the craziness that is planning and hosting a wedding. She was recommended to us via the Knot and from day one her personality definitely made her a hit with us. She is so bubbly and positive that it is contagious. We had a few complications while building the ceremony since we are both non-religious but the brideās family is highly religious. Margaret understood how to walk that line for us with a prayer or two and a few bible verses to fulfill the brideās wish of incorporating a blessing to the marriage. She was open to any suggestions and really went with the low-key feel we wanted our ceremony to be. On top of everything else, she was willing to make a last minute change to join us at the rehearsal dinner (across the state) to walk through with the bridal party so everyone knew where to go and what to do. It was herding cats for sure, but she did it! Margaret, Luke and I want to thank you so much for the memorable ceremony, putting up with our large families, and helping me out as I breakdown during pictures. We both truly appreciate it!

Margaret is an experienced professional in her field, performing close to 300 weddings to date, she is very sweet hearted, courteous, punctual and organized. She has her craft honed to perfection. She allowed us to create the ceremony we envisioned. We are a mature couple and this was a 2nd marriage for both of us. We had a short ceremony in a dinner setting for 100 guests in a hotel banquet room. After several visits via email and phone over a few months, we came up with a final draft of the ceremony script, and were prepared on the day of the wedding. I never had a worry with Margaret, as she was confident, and expressed being able to handle the event and direction of the guests with great care.

Margaret was fantastic! She didnāt know anybody there and mingled and took photos with them. Our guests loved her! Her ceremony with us was different than the usual, but in a very good way. Best officiant ever ! 10/10 would recommend! Margaret was over the top amazing! Our wedding was postponed an entire year due to covid and she was there every step of the way. All of the detailed planning we had beforehand & then she was there to assist with the rehearsal! Our family and friends loved her spunky and outgoing personality, she fit right in with everyone. I didnāt know what to expect when hearing The Knot for an officiant, especially as our extended family is religious and we were their first non-religious/in a church wedding. My husband and I loved working with Margaret - she made everything involving our ceremony very easy and stress-free! She was always quick to respond to any of our emails or texts and she planned everything with a very personal and endearing touch. She also gave us countless ideas for ways to improve the ceremony and make it more personal that we never would have thought of on our own. She met with us beforehand to go over everything and then showed up on the big day with loads of time to spare so that she was familiar with the layout and ready to go. Margaret was AMAZING! She wrote and performed the most perfect ceremony for our wedding. It was seriously beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a more thought out, beautiful ceremony. She was really good about meeting with us, working with us, and making sure the ceremony included everything we wanted. We wanted our 5 month old daughter to be apart of our ceremony and she helped us incorporate our daughter so she was part of our day as well! She was on time, super kind, helpful, and interacted with the wedding party and family great too! After our ceremony we got SO many comments on how much everyone liked it and how great of a job she did! What a gem! Margaret is a real professional that knows what she is doing! She wrote and rewrote our ceremony until it was perfect. It was so personal, and flawlessly executed. We laughed, we cried, we felt goosebumps. She handled the rehearsal like a stage director, had it all working correctly. She was early the day of the wedding, and stayed until the dj started. She sent us pictures she had snapped during down times, and they were phenomenal. Her infectious smile and upbeat demeanor
helped calm everyone down. Thank you Margaret!

Margaret was amazing. She had out guests laughing, remembering why they fell in love and everything in between. With Margaret, what you meet that very first day is exactly what you get at the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. She is a bubbly, friendly, passionate woman who loves weddings! We'd recommend Margaret again and again.

Margaret was just so amazing! She took the time to sit with us to personalize our wedding and worked with us until it was perfect. Our guests were very impressed with our unique ceremony. She is so upbeat and fun!

I don't even know where to start!!! First and foremost Margaret was completely amazing!!!! I couldn't be happier that I had Margaret officiate our wedding! She wrote an extremely personal ceremony for us and made time to for a rehearsal dinner as well! Margaret got to know both my family and my husband's family and went out of her was to befriend everyone in our wedding party. She was definitely"part of the family" for our special day and I highly recommend using her for your upcoming nuptials!!!!!!

Margaret was soooo GREAT! We had a family friend we wanted to officiant but didn't want to put it on him to have to research and write the ceremony. Margaret came in, sent us an entire questionnaire, met us in person and wrote our personal ceremony for us! It was beautiful and personable. She is a great writer! She also wrote everything from exactly what our officiant had to say down to our exact words.. it was such a relief and we hit the jackpot here! Sad we couldn't have her marry us after we went through this with her. She is great!!

With a week left before our big day, Margaret saved us and was able to adapt and work with our premade plans. Gave insight on important parts of the ceremony and made it very beautiful with a personal touch. Kind, detail-oriented, and very committed to her work/clients. She understood our dire situation and took charge while we were able to focus on other last-minute details, highly recommend!!

For decades I worked in Hospitality and during that time I have participated in hundreds of wedding celebrations as Banquet Captain, Server, and Bartender. One day , after watching a mature lady come into the hotel , donning a robe, and conducting a short ceremony, I thought "I can do that"! So I did. For elev years now. Sans robe. Over 270 Ceremonies!!!!
