About this vendor
Vesna Longton is an Attleboro, MA–based artist who comes to your wedding or special event and paints your memorable moments live.
Vesna is a professional artist with formal art education. She has been in the live painting business since the very beginning of canvas live painting, starting in 2006. Wedding painting provides not only lasting memories, but also luxury live entertainment for your guests.
The artist arrives at the wedding or event 2–4 hours before it begins to paint the background and setting before guests arrive. On average, a live painting takes 6–8 hours to complete, and the artist usually finishes the painting by the end of the event.
Vesna paints live and uses photographs only when necessary and as additional reference. This means that, for the best results, the main characters of the painting may need to pose for an average of 3–6 minutes. Painting live has the advantage of capturing beautiful live colors, emotions, and the mood of the people and the event. Posing can also be important, as not all faces have a simple structure, and for the artist it is essential to see the face in 3D to fully understand it.
Whether you require a painted scene of your ceremony or reception, Wedding Painting by Vesna looks forward to fulfilling your wishes. You can choose from a range of painting sizes. Vesna can paint up to 14 recognizable faces.

As a live wedding painter, her behavior was extremely unprofessional. Throughout the event, I observed her working and noticed she was cold, unfriendly, and unapproachable. But I d...
idn’t pay much attention at first. I thought maybe that was just her facial expression and there was nothing wrong.
The situation became unacceptable when my boyfriend saw her phone fall to the floor and picked it up to return it to her. Instead of thanking him, she took the phone with an attitude and looked behind her painting in a suspicious manner, as if questioning why he had touched it. When he explained that it had fallen, she still did not say a single word — not even a basic “thank you.”
Such conduct is unprofessional and inappropriate for a service-based role. It made guests feel unwelcome and uneasy.
As an Asian guest, I also felt that her behavior reflected discrimination, which is deeply concerning and unacceptable.
We are so grateful Vesna could be part of our celebration! Vesna created a beautiful painting of the Bride and Groom. Her presence and her painting added such an elegant touch to t...
he day, along with a truly magnificent painting!! Many of our guests commented on how lovely it was. It is a piece that will be treasured for a lifetime.
Vesna created a beautiful painting of my husband and I during our wedding. The live painting activity was such a hit during the wedding, and Vesna added some extra fun elements int...
o the wedding: she asked if she could add some dragons, which make the painting super fun! A few feedback points I had:
-I wish we had known the time commitment for the painting prior to the wedding. This would have helped my husband and I plan accordingly (i.e. be able to grab some food from the cocktail hour while we pose for the painting)
-Vesna wasn't the friendliest vendor, but she got the job done well
My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend Wedding Painting by Vesna for any soon-to-be Brides & Grooms who are looking to add a special, memorable, and unique experience to their Wed...
ding Day. Vesna and her team were exceptionally wonderful to work with from start to finish. Vesna was warm and friendly, and highly responsive to provide answers to all of our questions leading up to our big day. On our wedding day, Vesna and her team were incredibly professional and proactive. She was excellent about working with our venue and their coordinator to get set up and ready to go on the day of our wedding without any issues.
Vesna created the most BEAUTIFUL work of art from our Wedding Day with our family members and puppy included as guests in the painting. We were in absolute awe by the results, which exceeded far beyond our expectations. Vesna’s painting is a priceless work of art that memorializes the most special moment from our Wedding Day with all of our loved ones, and we will treasure it forever. Vesna’s live wedding painting was by far the most memorable aspect of our special day. Many of our family members and guests had never seen live painting at a wedding before, and they are STILL talking about how incredible Vesna was on our special day, even though our wedding was 8+ months ago. But the best part is seeing her painting every day in our living room and getting to re-live our Wedding Day all over again.
Wedding Painting by Vesna is absolutely SPECTACULAR and we would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!

efore. Several guest spent time during the event watching her paint our ceremony. She even finished the picture by the end of the night! Now my husband and I have a beautiful custom piece of artwork from our wedding. She was by far one of my favorite vendors that we booked. She did a fantastic job and added such a unique touch to our wedding!
Vesna is incredible! She shows up early to paint the background of what you would like her to paint and then literally stays all night to finish the painting. She also sets up so p...
eople can watch her paint, which is so cool, people couldn’t stop talking about it. Having a live painting of your wedding is something you will have forever to hang in your home and to relive that memory every time you look at. Vesna cares about every detail and wants to make sure the painting you are getting is exactly what you want.
Vesna is so talented! It was raining the morning of our wedding so the sides of our tent were down, but she painted the scene as if the sides were up so that we could see the beaut...
iful ocean backdrop that we loved so much. She arrived early to paint the room before anyone was there and stayed until the very end of the night. Our guests were mesmerized by her work, and her attention to detail is incredible. The painting was dry almost immediately when she was done and we got to take it home with us right then and there. Thank you again, Vesna!
Vesna is amazing! She did such a great job on our wedding painting. So many of our guests loved her work and admired her talent. I highly recommend her!
Being a lover of art, I knew we had to hire Vesna to capture our special day. She did not disappoint! Vesna arrived before the ceremony and worked diligently throughout the night. ...

lls! From the moment she began painting to the final detail Vesna captivated our guests with her unique artistry. They couldn't take their eyes off of the process she was creating right in front of them! The finished product was more than I could have asked for and is something we will cherish forever! Highly recommended !

as absolutely amazing and she was able to add our dogs into the painting as well. Vesna arrived early and stayed to the very last minute completing the portrait. All of the guests constantly frequented where she was painting in order to peek over her shoulder to get a look. After the wedding, all we heard the next from our guests was I wish “I had gotten a painter for our wedding, that was such a great idea”. But in reality it wasn’t getting a painter it was getting Vesna to create the painting because her work is truly beautiful.
Vesna did a AMAZING job. My guests are still talking about her lovely artwork. I would 100% recommend using her for any special event or wedding.
If I could give Vesna 100 stars I would. The live painting was probably the most amazing thing at my wedding. It was definitely the most talked about and is still the item that eve...
ryone inquires about.
Not only did she capture everyone who was important to us but they looked identical to their image.
It is such a great piece of art and something that we will have for many years to come.
before booking her I really went back and forth with the whole idea. Is it something we really need? Will people like it? Well, let me tell you it was the best decision that I made throughout the whole wedding process. I should have booked this service first and eliminated some of the other things that I purchased.
Vesna is so sweet and she is so professional. She dealt directly with the people from my venue from the very beginning letting me know that she would be one less thing for me to worry about. She let them know everything that she needed and I didn't have to be part of it. I wish all vendors did that!
If you book Vesna for your wedding, you will not be disappointed one bit. She was a great part of our wedding and now will be a part of our home forever!
We had the pleasure of having Vesna live paint at our wedding. It was a total hit. Everyone at the wedding loved watching her put together the painting. As promised, Vesna start...
