Vesna Longton is an Attleboro, MA–based artist who comes to your wedding or special event and paints your memorable moments live.
Vesna is a professional artist with formal art education. She has been in the live painting business since the very beginning of canvas live painting, starting in 2006. Wedding painting provides not only lasting memories, but also luxury live entertainment for your guests.
The artist arrives at the wedding or event 2–4 hours before it begins to paint the background and setting before guests arrive. On average, a live painting takes 6–8 hours to complete, and the artist usually finishes the painting by the end of the event.
Vesna paints live and uses photographs only when necessary and as additional reference. This means that, for the best results, the main characters of the painting may need to pose for an average of 3–6 minutes. Painting live has the advantage of capturing beautiful live colors, emotions, and the mood of the people and the event. Posing can also be important, as not all faces have a simple structure, and for the artist it is essential to see the face in 3D to fully understand it.
Whether you require a painted scene of your ceremony or reception, Wedding Painting by Vesna looks forward to fulfilling your wishes. You can choose from a range of painting sizes. Vesna can paint up to 14 recognizable faces.
Prices:
12X16-$1400 ( vertical , only portrait of two, with 2 recognizable faces)
14X18 -$1500 ( vertical , only portrait of two, with 2 recognizable faces)
20X16 -$1600 (vertical, only portrait of two, with with 2 recognizable faces)
18X24 -$1800 (vertical, only portrait of two with 2 recognizable faces)
22x28 -$2200 ( about 5-6 recognizable people with recognizable faces)
24X30 - $2400 (about 7-8 recognizable people with recognizable faces)
24X36 - $2600 (about 9-10 recognizable people with recognizable faces)
30X40 -$2900 (about 11-12 recognizable people with recognizable faces)
30X48 -$3400 ( about 13-14 recognizable people possibly would be needed to be finished in artist`s studio)
There could be an additional travel expense, depending on location of the wedding.
Weddings in December through April get additional $100 discount.
Painting would be made in acrylic and most of the sizes are done by the end of the reception.

idn’t pay much attention at first. I thought maybe that was just her facial expression and there was nothing wrong.
The situation became unacceptable when my boyfriend saw her phone fall to the floor and picked it up to return it to her. Instead of thanking him, she took the phone with an attitude and looked behind her painting in a suspicious manner, as if questioning why he had touched it. When he explained that it had fallen, she still did not say a single word — not even a basic “thank you.”
Such conduct is unprofessional and inappropriate for a service-based role. It made guests feel unwelcome and uneasy.
As an Asian guest, I also felt that her behavior reflected discrimination, which is deeply concerning and unacceptable.

-I wish we had known the time commitment for the painting prior to the wedding. This would have helped my husband and I plan accordingly (i.e. be able to grab some food from the cocktail hour while we pose for the painting)

ding Day. Vesna and her team were exceptionally wonderful to work with from start to finish. Vesna was warm and friendly, and highly responsive to provide answers to all of our questions leading up to our big day. On our wedding day, Vesna and her team were incredibly professional and proactive. She was excellent about working with our venue and their coordinator to get set up and ready to go on the day of our wedding without any issues.

All of the guests constantly frequented where she was painting in order to peek over her shoulder to get a look. After the wedding, all we heard the next from our guests was I wish “I had gotten a painter for our wedding, that was such a great idea”. But in reality it wasn’t getting a painter it was getting Vesna to create the painting because her work is truly beautiful.
