Raised in France by an American father and French mother, Galaxie quickly learned to become a citizen of the world.
When she is not sitting window seat, flying to her next destination wedding, or handwriting postcards to her couples with her cat Stevie on her lap, Galaxie works as the program director of the growing nonprofit organization she co-founded and developed over the last decade, changing thousands of lives within her local community.

her garden. Later, she sent us a questionnaire in which my (then) fiancé—Misselle—and I had the opportunity to answer questions about each other.
Leading up to our engagement photo session, we were a bit nervous. (We didn’t know what to expect.) But when the session started, Galaxie quickly eased our nerves by prompting us with our questionnaire answers. She brought us back to the present moment and began capturing our raw affection for each other, making sure not to overlook any of the surrounding details. Galaxie led the way from beginning to end, and the experience was more enjoyable and seamless than we could have imagined.
As our wedding date neared, Galaxie carefully studied our venue. She, and her very capable assistant, surveyed the area. Galaxie took note of the natural light and found the ideal locations for pictures.
The day of our wedding, Galaxie captured virtually every decisive moment—and a handful of spontaneous ones too! From when Misselle put on her dress and shoes to when I fixed my bow tie and cufflinks to when we exchanged an “I do,” Galaxie was there to encapsulate the moment. When the ceremony ended, she led to us to several picture perfect spots. Galaxie accompanied us throughout the rest of the night—not too far away, yet not too close. Galaxie rhythmically blended into the crowd and collected a treasure trove of memories for which we are beyond grateful.

ll wedding the same day as ours BUT she was able to still work out getting us another amazing photographer so it all worked out wonderfully. She did our engagements and her (now spouse) partner and friend did our wedding. The only thing I was sad about after getting married was that she didn’t do families. BUT now she does! My family and friends are probably sick of hearing how amazing I think she is. She truly loves what she does and loves each one of her clients. She is incredibly kind and compassionate. She expressed interest in meeting us prior to the session or connecting over the phone to get to know us, whichever worked best for us. We had several phone conversations and completed questionnaires prior to our “Meaningful Portrait Session”, that were used to draft activities she incorporated during the shoot which helped us relax and have fun! In reflecting on our wedding day, the moments I remember laughing hardest were those intimate moments we spent before the ceremony taking photos with Brandon and Galaxie. This session was such special time for us and I cannot imagine it feeling this meaningful without them there. They understood, and were aligned with, our desire to focus on each other and on what mattered that day, and carved a special place for everything we valued.
Galaxie’s smile, warmth, authenticity, gentleness, and true kindness are something we are still marveling at. My husband has not stopped raving about Brandon, wishing he could adopt him into the groomsmen circle.
It didn’t occur to me that this comfort and sheer joy we shared would translate into photographs that captured the essence of the day. They speak for themselves and are truly magical.
There are logistics involved, of course, and it wouldn’t be fair to leave out the fact that Galaxie and Brandon took care of everything with seamless, smooth coordination. Everything ran like clockwork, with a relaxed ease. Not to mention that we got out final photos the week after the wedding. Days after!
This recommendation is not an easy one to write, as words fall short to describe our sheer appreciation for Galaxie and Brandon.
