Wedding Photojournalism by Rodney Bailey

Rodney is without question the best photographer we met with in the DC area. He was always quick to respond to emails and made sure we were comfortable throughout ever step of the planning. We hired one of Rodney's lead photographers - Gary Guevara- to be our official photographer and he was such a star. Neither my fiancee nor I are particularly comfortable in front of the camera but he was calming and also really fun to have around. We loved the engagement photos Gary took for us and we cannot wait to see our wedding pictures in a few weeks.

This is just to say thank you Rodney, Mark and Sayeed!! Our wedding photos were PERFECT!! We were able to view parts of our wedding that we missed from our intimate first look, taking our vows, and seeing our natural, priceless expressions!! Rodney Bailey exceeded our expectations and was a Great price value!! I would suggest to order all of your package needs ahead of time if known to save money on the back end. Other than that a great professional photo team! Thank you for capturing such a magical night.

Rodney played a huge part of my vendor dream team. He took our engagement photos and offered great advice for time of the year and time of the day to have them taken. I picked my favorite photos for the engagement photo album- which he suggested to use as my guest book! (Again amazing suggestion!) and trusted him to make such a beautiful book. He was very quick to respond to emails and extremely friendly with everyone I saw him work with. I'm so excited to see how our wedding photos turn out!!

When we first started looking for a photographer, we couldn't believe the number in the pool from which we could choose. It was overwhelming. Instead of calling each one of them or checking the website out for each of them, I browsed through the real photos on WeddingChannel to see which ones of the pictures really popped out. Since my husband and I love taking pictures ourselves and know a little more than the average about taking pictures, we were picky but not when we saw the pictures taken by Rodney and his crew! Rodney was very responsive and professional. We met with him briefly and we decided to go with Gary Guevara. The process was easy. Gary and his assistant showed up on the wedding day and created the most beautiful memory for us. Of course, we had to do some formal shots with our family. However, the crew took a lot of candid pictures of us and our guests. We highly recommend Gary! I hired Rodney Bailey's associate Gary as my wedding photographer. He took wonderful pictures and we used our engagement shoot photo album as our sign in book. Gary is a true professional. On the day of my wedding he was full of helpful hints and I joked that he was a photo ninja because he took so many pictures without being intrusive. He was a calming presence and I would absolutely recommend him! He added to my wonderful day and was a joy to have around. His pictures are also phenomenal! Thanks Gary!!!!

We could not have been happier with Rodney Bailey Wedding Photojournalism. Rodney is professional, friendly, helpful, and very responsive. He gets back to you very quickly and makes the photography planning portion very easy on the bride. Mark Bettinger was our photographer, and he was absolutely amazing. Very professional, and put everyone at ease. He got every single shot we wanted, and the images were gorgeous. While it was expensive, it was so worth the quality of what we got. Mark seamlessly blended in with our wedding guests while somehow managing to get amazing photos. He was also excellent during our engagement photos, helping us to pose and look comfortable on camera. I'd recommend Rodney Bailey to any bride!

I believe in paying for photos because in the end, that is the one thing you have left after your wedding day! We were very impressed by the photojournalistic style. We liked that they did black and white as well as color shots. They offer a variety of packages. We got an album and an engagement photo session included. The photographers were excellent. They got good shots but didn't take forever to do them.

He was very easy to work with. He was punctual and definitely unobtrusive. It was amazing to see all the photos he got when you hardly noticed he was there.

As photojournalists promise, I never knew he was there or saw him. The pictures are beautiful, particularly the artistic black and whites. he was very easy to work with and professional.;He's an amazing photographer, but also a businessman. Everything has an additional cost (i.e. leaving your photos up on Pictage for more than a short time).
