Hey, DJ Robert here; I'm the owner of Wedding Pro DJs, a wedding DJ business based in Proctorsville, VT. You take oodles of time to choose a venue, food, bevvies, right? Even tables, chairs, plates & silverware, correct? Trust me on this: take some time to choose the right DJ. Why? Because after dinner, after cake is cut (or cupcakes served) & coffee served, the only thing your guests (& you) will remember is the last 2-3-4 hours of dancing & the complaints about ‘hurting feet’ afterwards. That…is what we do. So, what to look for in a great DJ? + Audio Gear: no matter the talent, you can’t cover for crappy gear. And ours? Best available, in the world, for mobile DJ work. Really, you say? The techie who designed my system designed the audio system at Cowboy’s Stadium in Dallas. Yep. And what did they use? Electro-Voice, exclusively. And Guillermo told me: ‘This is too much, too heavy & too good, but for what you do in tents & barns, you’ll never run out of power or quality". + Our subwoofers (any DJ who does not use them = ‘poser’) will knock your socks off. + Our ‘mains’: most powerful & highest quality available for mids-highs. You care about music? I do and have used EV throughout my club, studio & mobile DJ career. + Lastly: wireless mics? Of course, your besties & parents & you can stroll around the venue or sit at your tables & speak with clarity. + Lighting: all latest LED from Chauvet Pro DJ. And all included & yes, ‘up-lighting’ too if you wish it. No charge. + Music: ours? All legal, all direct from Artists’ labels, every week, every remix, every genre you might wish for. And beforehand: you ask for it: we source it. Even Free Bird, if you wish. + But we do carry over 75,000 extra cuts from the 50’s-today, so not to worry: we can satisfy your guests from 9 to 90...years old, I mean. + Experience; me? Clubs, old school dance clubs, mixing for real if you wish. Back when you ‘made your bones’, not just picked up some gear & said ‘I’m a DJ’. Then studio mixing, remixing, etc. + And over 1000 weddings, so nothing much surprises me, but each one is different and I’ll handle MC duties & the mundane stuff as well as I do a dance floor. + Arrive: 2.5-3 hours early. No kidding, I think its necessary. One never knows what ‘changes’, right? And that way, I’ve got time to change, brush my teeth & not look like a bum who just arrived to play your gig. I hired Robert with Wedding Pro DJ's. As a professional DJ Robert obviously has more music than you forgot you loved dancing too (that's a lot). He had every request that was asked for and tried his best to have it all heard - but of course time ran out before the music did. Everyone told me they the best time and I personally NEVER got off the dance floor. We cannot recommend him enough. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

From the moment we first contacted Robert to be our wedding DJ, he made the entire planning process seamless. He was a true partner in planning our day and everything came out perfectly. We planned our wedding in just five months. Wedding planning can be stressful, but Robert was by far the easiest vendor we worked with. He set the perfect tone for our ceremony and reception. Our guests had a blast on the dance floor. Multiple people complimented the music and energy that Robert brought to our reception. We couldn’t be happier with our experience!

While the communication leading up to the wedding was a bit unprofessional, DJ Robert ended up being a good DJ for the wedding. Guests had a good time. Just make sure you're very clear about what you want during the planning phase.

Robert was professional, flexible, affordable, and beyond prepared for our rustic summer camp wedding. He played fantastic music and had our guests on the dance floor all night. We would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

Rob was fantastic! He was communicative and helped us keep the party going. He offered great advice for the order of the ceremony and emceed the whole evening. He also has a sound set up for your reception and an entirely contained mobile set up for an outdoor ceremony. Between his humor, his decades long experience, his ability to mic music, and his encyclopedic knowledge of both modern hits and oldies, you won’t regret hiring him.

We booked Robert over a year ago. No deposit. It was so great to put this part of our planning aside & we couldn't have been more pleased with him. My husband told Robert his family doesn't dance & because we had filled out Robert's planner, he had just the right songs on board to get those folks on the dance floor! Robert took requests with a smile, sailed through our ceremony & even had some guests dancing during the cocktail hour. So professional, yet so open to changing the music as needed. Highly recommend him.

I've attended dozens of weddings in my life & our dance floor was the best I've ever experienced! Robert is a master at reading a crowd & while he interspersed our play list he was smart enough to not follow it verbatim! So many guests commented on his talent & the fact that their spouses who never dance, did! The rest of his handling of ceremony & MC duties were flawless. Lastly, he had to practically tour audio enthusiasts through his system, which as absolutely amazing. Talented & great guy to work with.

We got blown off by a discount DJ who still has our deposit. Robert was referred to us last minutes by a venue as expensive but great. Both true but he took over a bad situation like a pro & delivered on service, music & talent. I’ve been to dozens of weddings and never saw such a dance floor & so glad it was ours. Just hire him.

Our NY wedding planner referred us to Robert via previous professional experience. Little did we know how else he would come through. We lost power at our tented venue after dinner & Robert sent my husband & best man to his truck & they brought back a portable generator & save for ten minutes to restart his system, we didn’t miss a beat. Robert certainly has adjusted to life in rural Vermont! He was great to work with, fun to dance to & we highly recommend him.

Robert’s attention to detail ahead of time using his planner for schedule, introductions, play & do not play lists & his sharing it with other service suppliers kept us confident. Then he more than delivered on the music and all in all, a perfect wedding day was had. My guests even took up a collection to have him stay an extra hour! Then another! Highly recommend.

A year postponed because of Covid, Robert kept in touch & never asked for a deposit. True to his word, he brought all our favorite songs & took requests as best he could from our guests, who enjoyed the music as much as we did. Excellent sound. Very professional & friendly. Highly recommend his services!

Well played, Robert. LOL, it’s true. At every junction of our day Robert had just the right music on. Even during cocktail hour & dinner he had people giving me & my husband thumbs up signs. But when he cut loose after dinner was when he really showed his experience. It was like a nightclub dance floor. His audio equipment was like nothing I’ve ever seen. Or heard, at a wedding. And his lights were just as cool. Great guy, great DJ.

I should have just made a Spotify playlist. Robert brought faulty equipment, didn’t prepare the correct songs, played songs on out “do not play” list, he was rude to vendors and guests and worst of all he was the only person to be cut off by the bar. DO NOT hire him.

DJ Robert was very responsive to emails, calls or texts and kept communication very easy throughout the process. He made the wedding flow great with music and his role in our reception was perfect!

We had our wedding on July 29, 2017! DJ Robert attended our wedding. I have to say he was AMAZING! I had a must play list and he played a considerable amount from that, but he is also really good at reading the crowd. He did a great job getting people to the dance floor and keeping people on the dance floor! I never danced so much at a wedding before! I have to say I would give DJ Robert a million stars! I cannot thank him again for truly making my wedding perfect.

DJ Rob was a saving grace! My wedding was filled with great memories on that dance floor!! ..Somthing for everyone! Music from the 50's to 2 weeks ago:)...he also played music at my ceremony and suggested the perfect playlist... Rob corresponded with me on a regular basis via email ( sometimes on a daily basis when somthing would come to mind that I needed to ask him) which greatly put my mind at ease. He also reached out to my wedding venue and corresponded about the details with them directly . Rob was promt and kept me in the loop from booking ..to set up ..to finish! It was a great time had by all! Rob even brought some tricks up his sleeve to keep my guests entertained ... True professional on every sense! Would highly reccomend Wedding Pro Dj's ..!
