mailed him with no response for the entire month of December which was supposed to be delivered on December 6,20116 according to our contract. I finally received a response via text saying that he was attending to a family emergency and that he would contact me as soon as he returned to the US which should be in January. However I never received any contact until March when he told me that in Guyana someone stole his belongings and that he didn't have any backup. When I requested a refund he told me to seek a refund through Paypal. When I contacted Paypal the told me that it was past the time frame for a refund. Rando then told me that he didn't have the money but as soon as he got it he would refund me. However He never contacted me again. I thankfully disputed the charges through me bank and was able to get a resolution. I then received a text message from him that he was never trying to keep me money. The nerve of him to ruin the most important day of my life and then respond back with smart remarks. He was not a good business man.

and I were the first to reach out to Rando, and at that point, it was already 6 months past our wedding date. Rando sent a preview that was clearly slapped together days later. Fast forward to April 2017, still no video, and either a ton of excuses or just plain unresponsiveness. Apparently there was a home invasion in December of 2016, and he had moved out of the country - which my husband and I were understanding of. But Rando could not provide any final delivery date for our video, and we thought our footage was destroyed. Luckily, we paid via PayPal and I was able to recoup our money, but nothing can fix the disappointment of not having wedding video. Super talented guy (clearly evident from past work), but really needs to assess his customer service skills. When you are dealing with people's memories, you need to take extra care given we cannot redo them.

We contacted WeddingPix and heard back from Rando quickly. His communication and pricing was concise and clear. Our venue was pretty far out and Rando was there on time, with a smile and ready to work. He was relaxed, very personable and friendly. He got some really great shots of the whole wedding and reception, all the while remaining discreet and not obstruent. He was patient with our requests and also worked with us by being willing to stay past his booking time. My wife and I are very satisfied with the turnaround time for the photos and the quality of work that was produced. We decided to have a first look and Rando was completely open to that idea. This made the photograph process a bit more successful as opposed to the traditional post-ceremony photo-ops, which tend to get busy, rushed and can leave less room for creativity. I would strongly recommend this as an option for anyone hiring a photographer. It gave Rando more time to utilize the event space and the opportunity to be more innovate with his photos. We would definitely recommend WeddingPix and would for certain hire Rando again.
